A really thorough and fair look at the UFR and all of its variations. I skated the first one and did indeed find it too stiff for aggressive. The good thing was I got it second-hand but unused for an absurdly cheap price. I sold the shells and kept the Intuitions, which I still skate to this day. One really cool thing about the newest ones is that they come stock with the FR x Oysi frames, which are so hard to find right now in almost all colors and sizes.
I've had this boot for over a year now, I can't stand it. I used to love my FR1s years ago and it's funny how these UFRs are basically the same mold and yet they feel massively different, again, not a great boot as far as I'm concerned.
so incredibly helpful, thank you
I'll be picking up a boot
