    Just to point out that this is the FR UFR AP (Anthony Pottier) pro model skate. Good to acknowledge the badass that he is! Fantastic review btw

      Thanks for checking it out! I left the AP out of it as I touched on it in some of my earlier videos. Even thought it is his pro model, it is the only aggressive skate issued so far from FR. AP is well deserving of the pro model and such a great skater.

    Finally I bought a white fr ufr with a 72mm white compass frame, because I started playing roller skates in urban areas, but was curious about aggressive skates, thank you for the review

    Thanks for the review on the white UFRs! I have the black standards myself but with reign liners and I love ‘em. Not too crazy about the cuff which is why not I’m skating Razors Shift. But now watching this video I might jump on the white ones. Keep up the content!

      Really appreciate you checking out the review! The white with Intuition provide a better experience and worth checking out if you like the fit. One thing to note is the boot with Intuition can come one shell size down depending on your foot size so worth looking at depending on how wide your foot is.

      @@Jordan.Skates sweet yea I might give them a shot instead of buying a $400 Them with intuition or buying the liner itself. I have normalish feet. I’m a size 9 and can fit a size 9 M12 so I should be ok thanks for the heads up!

    Hey bro, I’ve been watching your vids for the past week or so and I just wanted to say thank you for making these reviews and videos they are really insightful and informative for someone like me who is pretty new to inlines and i’m trying to decide on a boot right now. I watched both your videos about the factions V1 tactical and this one on the FR UFRs because i was previously interested in either. been on quads my whole life and started using regular inlines (old pair of rollerblades) in 2020 and now i want to do more tricks with a boot and frame that will let me start doing more. do you think either of these are a good option for a first pair of aggressive skates? which one do you think is better, or is there another brand which i should look into? thank you bro keep up the awesome content you’re the goat

      Really appreciate you watching. Both skates are very solid and hard to go wrong with. I think it depends on if you want a stiffer more supportive skate (FR) or a flexier skate (Faction) I found both fit the foot well. I’d say faction would be closer to a rollerskate feel. FR is probably the most bang for your buck as you can get a full set up for the price of the faction boot and as i mentioned in my videos, you can get more flex by how you lace and buckle the FR.

    Apprecite the detailed review! I just got mine today with the OYSI classic frames, but for some reason the mounting screw hole in the back of one left boot isn't gripping and I cannot get the frame to attached to the boot (the screw just spins), did you have any issues? One boot & frame is fine and one isn't, so I tried changing the bolts from the boot that "worked" to the other but no luck, thinking might need a slightly longer screw and call it a day? :(

    • @Jordan.Skates
      @Jordan.Skates  Місяць тому

      Oysi frames should come with multiple length bolts. I didnt have an issue mounting oysi on these with standard provided hardware. You will need longer bolts for the back due to raised heel and deeper soul plate at back to make soul plate flat

    • @adrianob.965
      @adrianob.965 Місяць тому

      @@Jordan.Skates Yea, it did come with extra hardware but seems they are shorter than then provided FR screws, I found out that the longer FR screws are 18.5mm, so might buy a 20mm screw, weird thing is that one boot is fine, and the screw that works fine on a boot, still doesn't work on the other boot, making me thinking maybe the actual thread base is recessed a tad lower? Anyways thanks for the reply!

    Are you able to switch your intuition liners from ufr to your fr1’s?

    • @Jordan.Skates
      @Jordan.Skates  9 місяців тому +1

      Yes - the liner sizing and shell sizes are the same between UFR and FR1

    Great review! I find, as this being my first skate back, that these are a bit stiff but the reason you gave made so much sense.
    I sized up right before purchasing, and got an 11 because all my sneakers/boots are 11. I should've stuck with the 10 shell. I have a bit too much room topwise and had to add an extra insole to eliminate top space. That seemed to have worked so far. I'm really enjoying the skates but am considering sizing down or getting 909s.
    Once again, Great vid!

      @Jordan.Skates  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for checking it out! These, for me anyway, felt really true to size. I would measure your mondo and compare to the FR Intuition size chart to see if a smaller boot would have a better fit.

      @@Jordan.Skates I did do what you said in video about lacing tight and leavin cuff loose. that worked great. got to pull off some top souls yesterday.
      yeah I measured my mondo and had the smaller shell in cart but my stupid brain would not compute lol and I changed it right before ordering🤷‍♂

    Would you say the toe width equals to length? Asking because I want to downsize from a 8 shell 9.5/10 to 8.5/9 BUT I’m pretty close to the end of the shell. 26.5 MP love Salomon ST 27/27.5 with CJ Foryos liner

    • @Jordan.Skates
      @Jordan.Skates  5 місяців тому

      I have not looked at other sizes for the FR but typically skates get proportionally wider as they get longer. Per the FR intuition size chart, you should fit a 40.5-41.5 skate with a 26.5 mondo (size 7 shell)

    Do you know how to tell the difference with the fr ufr v1 and the v2? Looking to buy one used, but it may be a v1. What are your major thoughts about the v1? Should I wait to get the v2 or as a beginner, the version 1 is more than enough?

    • @Jordan.Skates

    Thanks for the info, how would you compare these to the Them 909, do you prefer one much more than the other?

    • @Jordan.Skates
      @Jordan.Skates  9 місяців тому +1

      The cuffs on FR are certainly more stiff as the skate originally was intended for urban skating. I feel the build quality on the FR was better than the 909, and the fit was better, but some nuances about ride height and skate stiffness. I made a review of the 909. I'm a 275 mondo and the Medium was too big for my, and this was before the schmediums came out. I found the build quality to be not as good and hated that the cuffs chewed through laces. I think it really comes down to your foot and how do you want a skate to fit.

      I cant speak for the black and brown FR stock liner as I have not ridden them. The Intuition liners are more premium and thinner and you can downsize shells. I recommend looking at the FR size charts to see what version liner will work best with your foot size

      I like the urethane on the Chromas a lot. I just did a review and cored 3 pairs within a month. I reached out to Law and he is going to send some replacements, so appreciate them standing behind the product and trying to make it right. I will give the replacements a shot. I should mention that the best wheels for anti that I rode so far where the Red Eye Farmers, Them Ridder, and Undercover Bernal and that is because I was able to ride the wheels until the end
