Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We have spent some time in Fairbanks but never lived there. We definitely love Alaska and are excited about visiting next year.
my future son-n-law just arrived at Eielson Air Force base-Fairrbanks and my daughter will be going up after the wedding in June 2024. What are the top few things did you like about Fairbanks? Thanks, Ken
We went to Alaska a few years ago. We flew to Seattle, took the train up to Vancouver, which was a beautiful ride up the coast. We then took a cruise out of Vancouver and a 5-day land tour. It really was the trip of a lifetime. I’m dying to see how the new IS system does on the ALCAN, especially since you guys can definitely tell us the difference from your many other trips on the ALCAN.
Thank you for watching our video, we are loving our new IS & have been testing it out over the past 5 months & it has not disappointed!! We are excited to go back home to Alaska & to drive the Alcan & test our IS on this journey! We want to take an Alaskan cruise one day, we’ve also taken the ferry before, which was fun too. We’ll document the whole trip & we are excited to share it with the world ❤️
Hello TaryYoungblood in Homer! One of our favorite places to visit! We’ll definitely come by Homer next summer. Thank you for watching our video & following along on our adventures 💖
We can relate to backing into the building. We have thst issuecevery time we back in to our barn. We got our IS System on July. MorRyde did a great job & had us in & out in about 28 hours. We have a 340RL like & our finish height was 13' 5.5". Difference must be the truck. We have a Ram3500, dually. Great video!
Heyyyyyyy Bob & JoAnne, thank you for watching our video and confirming that I am not the only one who does not like backing into a black hole. Crazy how much taller we are now but still lower. We love the additional ground clearance.
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We appreciate that you answered our question, when you get there you will not be disappointed! God bless your family as well!
Thank you for watching our video, we’re so excited to visit Alaska again, I, Martha am from Juneau, we have family & friends throughout the state, we moved out of Alaska a couple of years ago. That’s great you got to fly to Ketchikan to visit your mom. We have since relocated to Central Florida, but travel 85% of the year in our RV. Safe travels.
Congrats you guys...great video! We just got our MORryde IS and Deemaxx disc brakes installed on our brand new 5th wheel in March 2024. Then, on the drive home, we had to try out the new disc brakes on I-75 South. Pretty sure we avoided an accident due to the great handling and braking. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the system is now bolt on as well. We were 4" nose high when we rolled into MORryde so now we're 4" higher in the back...giving us more rear stabilizer clearance! The MORryde system is phenomenal!
Thank you for watching our MORryde IS upgrade, we love ours, we just took it in for the annual check up, it definitely was the best upgrade!! We raised our middle and back jacks up too, love how it leveled us out on our 5th wheel. So glad you guys were able to avoid the accident, safe travels.
Hey, I think it's worth mentioning. look at your video @3:10. The bolt is not flushed mound when the installer is ratcheting down the bolt. I'd take a second look at that if I were you. That may rattle loose.
Thank you for watching our video. We just checked it out & it’s good. They went through & doubled checked everything before we left the bay. Thank you for thinking of us 🤗
Thank you for watching our MOrryde Independent Suspension upgrade videos, we had traveled thousands of miles since we had it installed and we are so thrilled with it.
Great video guys! That's awesome! Congratulations! We currently have the Roadmaster Comfort ride slipper spring suspension system but I like the Moryde IS! I really like the new bolt on you guys got! So, ya'll are headed to Alaska next year... So are we! We are so excited as this is a number 1 bucket list item! We're currently at NRVTA getting certified as tech and inspectors! Would be great to see ya'll on the AK Hwy! Safe travels!
Hey Bvonhaugg, congratulations on going to the NRVTA we are big fans of their programs! Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. You will have to let us know when you travel next year and we can meet up in Alaska.
With so many people moving to this suspension system why isn’t the manufacturers not catching on to this yet. One of my buddies had this done 5 years ago.
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. It seems that the manufacturers are not offering at the factory as an option. We bought our trailer off of the lot and it had the lead spring suspension.
@@ticopowell Ah man, that’s a great time to be there, the weather starts getting cooler & rain comes. This year they are getting snow earlier. We are looking forward to heading back up to Alaska next summer after the National rally 🥳
Martha and Chris, it looks like a great up. I wonder if it works for a bumper pull trailer? Shelley has been to Alaska. I have not. Her trip was by air. A road trip to Alaska is on my bucket list because my dad's father worked on building the Alcan highway. Great video, as always. Thank you for sharing. Peace and Safe Travels.
Thank you Craig, We appreciate your support and kind words! We will ask MORryde about the bumper pull IS. We know they have a IS airbag system that they put on the “Pause”. We have seen a few in person and they are pretty impressive technology. I bet he had some amazing stories working on the Alcan, such a great accomplishment for two countries to come together and create that massive highway. Our Alaska series next year will be quite a massive documentary explaining everything step by step. We hope to eliminate people’s fear of the Alcan.
We had the IS system installed on our grand design travel trailer toy hauler . We have had it for 2 seasons and love it. My only concern it added 4 inches to trailer height.
@@bobcorio5145 thank you for watching the video and the feedback on your experience. It must vary depending upon configuration. I could see that with the Valor we had it was significantly taller from the factory than our Paradigm.
trailing arm suspension has been around for quite awhile, a rubber bump spring is unique, I feel the coil spring with dual shocks on the Curt system is a proven and better way, good luck!
@@VenturesomeCoupleyour previous axle was bent, not your fault, manufacturers are putting in axles that have a lower load rating than the static load of the Rv therefore the axle certainly cannot support the dynamic loading that the axle will have to support, thanks for a great video.
Those pins that you pointed out do not hold the callipers on. They are attached to the back of the outboard disk pad and properly center and locate the pad to the calliper.
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. You are correct, I misspoke and should have said that they help the calipers centered which our other brand disc brakes did not have.
That is a slick system, but if you can transfer it from trailer to trailer, where do you store your old axles and parts, you would need those to put back on the old unit before selling.
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We have through about this also. As you mentioned storing the old axels or switching it on the new trailer and putting those axels on the trailer your selling seems to be the most effective method.
I've commented on several of the videos I'm an avid subscriber I'm very impressed at the work that you guys do and how much effort you put into everything it requires quite a bit of commitment a lot of technical expertise and sacrifice I looked on the channel to see if there was an offline way to communicate with you through email and did not see one If you guys have an email or off channel method to communicate it would be interesting to be able do ask advice see about collaboration opportunities and potential multi-channel rendezvous
Hey yetiatlarge555, We appreciate your support of our channel and all the great comments! Thank you for the nice feedback it really helps. Some of the people online are not so kind. The easiest way to get ahold of us is as you mentioned through email. Venturesomecouple@gmail.com we are always open to helping out and answering questions.
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. It adds about 800lbs of underslung weight which does not impact your frame but does cut into the stickered cargo capacity. Unfortunately no one will adjust the GVWR even though the capacity will change.
Hi guys, you might think of getting new wheels like Alcoa 17.5 wheels & tires, reasoning is more stable on & off the road ply rating 14 - 25, + these are the trailer tires that are on low bed equipment trailers, I have them on my 2015 grand design solitude + I have full air ride suspension + the 17.5 tires do not squirm while pulling the unit like the ones you have right now cuz the tend to follow the ruts in the road, thx again B safe out there looking forward to Alaska
Hey Ferraritoybox, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We appreciate your feedback and advice on the 17.5” t wheels and tires. If we were keeping the Paradigm that was going to be a priority upgrade.
I've been waiting for this! Thank you for this! Did you get an option to do 17.5" tires? Looks like stock tires made it with the conversion. Adding this to my list to do.
Hey The Ghostly Orb, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We decided to keep the stock 16” tires for now. The main reason is that our Dexter axels lost their camber and ruined our tires. We received new tires under warranty so it was cost effective to keep the 16” tires since they were new and no additional cost. Eventually we will switch to 17.5” when it is time to replace these tires. Having the H rated would nice.
@@VenturesomeCouple Ah, I see now. Sorry, I need to get my youtube switched to something else. It's Jeremy Daniel. My goal is IS and 17.5" and not having to worry about much on the road anymore. But I don't blame you for not wanted to waste new tires; I was mostly curious if you HAD to upgrade the tires.
Hey Jeff, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. The cost varies depending on the options you get. They have an 7K or 8K version, with or without disc brakes, and tandem or tripple axle. Over all it is between $7-10k. We believe it is the best suspension system made for RV’s. Is it worth it? We say yes especially now that you can transfer the system between trailers (As long as the geometry is the same) If we go from a 2021 Alliance Paradigm to a 2024 Alliance Paradigm we know the IS can come with us. The other two things we recommend to consider is; if you plan on keeping your trailer for a long period of time or you do a lot of traveling then we believe it is a valuable addition because your trailer will not be beat up when you tow.
I got IS install back in 2018 and I am very satisfy with it. The only problem I got is the alignment. Not to many shops know how to do it.I like to know how much is the system this days.
Hey Pete, sorry for the delayed response. Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We saw the list of shops and as you stated they seem to have one or two in most states but not everywhere.
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to check our little piece of the world. Of we were to take it with us would have either kept the original suspension or we could swap it out with the new trailer. It would not be the easiest project but it is doable.
Thank you for the information. I wish they could get a better handle on costs. It is not inexpensive. I think more folks would be able to come on board with their system. Do they give you any credit for the old axles they remove? There is some value to the original axles in the non rv trailer world. Especially upgrading. Or do they sell them back to the rv manufacturer, lol. Thanks again.
Hey Professional Inspection Services, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. MORryde does not give is credit for the removed axels. They did give us the option to keep them but hailing was going to be the concern. I believe they recycle the axels because they had a lot of bins with them.
Hey adventuresinrvland, thank you for watching the video and supporting us! We really appreciate you two. The factory suspension bolts hold the system in place just like your leaf springs are attached. Since the system is prebuilt the entire trailer weight sits on the rails of the IS and is attached to the leaf spring hangers. Since there is no moving parts like the leaf springs we don’t have to worry about grease. We visually inspect the bolts on every trip but don’t have to do much else.
So this "bolt on" method is an option over a "weld on" method? Is the cost the same after-market? I do know Alliance has this as a factory upgrade...but they are listing this option at about $11k and change. Now, you are getting a few other things (like disc brakes) in addition to the IS with this factory option...but they still make it awfully expensive.
Hey Camustang, the bolt on is very similar price to the weld on option. You are correct that it is expensive in either case. The benefit of doing it at the factory is that the trailer will be weighed and sticker with the additional capacity. After market they cannot re-sticker your RV. We tried 😀
@@angelaleong7224 we went with the 8k because our trailer is rated at 16,700 pounds and it is on the boarder of either suspension. We decided since we already had 8k disc brakes that it made sense for the larger weight capacity. Eventually we are going to upgrade to 16.5” H rated tires to fully enjoy the benefits of the 8K suspension. 7K is perfectly acceptable for the trailer also; we cannot get a new DOT sticker so we are limited to what the tag says for weight. Of 7K is cheaper and we didn’t already have the 8K brakes we would have put 7K on.
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. In our case we did not keep the old system although you are allowed to if you plan ahead to haul it off with you. We did not think about it in advance or we would have. If we want to keep the OS for the next trailer we will have to swap the new trailer leaf springs for the IS.
Great video, new subscriber. I have a question regarding a ball park figure. I realize that as Moryde Ambassadors you may have received considerable discounts so I'm not interested in your price. I looked all through the description and couldn't find anything that resembles what something like this would cost the average Joe. Could you share if you know?
Hey Retiredandrollin, we love your name! Thank you for subscribing to our channel and watching our videos. The IS costs between $8k-11k depending on configuration. We can say that we are still very happy with the product but wish we would have upgraded to 17.5 H rated tires instead of the 16” G rated we already had.
Hi there! I wanted to ask you about the Bolt On Independent suspension. Is it only for Alliance brands or can it be used for any brand 5th wheel. Also, when you say it can be removed and use for your next RV how does that work? What happens to the Rv you remove it from when or if you trade it in? Sorry if I am asking a stupid question. Also, what’s the difference between a 7k and 8k suspension? Since it takes 8 hours less labor time, is the cost less too? We got an estimate for both the 7k and 8k w/ the disc brakes and it was in the 13-14k range. Labor hours was 32 hours. Does this sound right? We can’t go the MORryde but we are going to an installer recommended by them Called Henderson’s lineup in Grants Pass Oregon. They also did not mention the Bolt On system. We are going to look into it. We appreciate this video coming out. Thank you! Apologies for the length, we are fairly new to the RV life and just a year in. We owned an LTV and sold it and now have a new 5th wheel Brinkley Z2900. Thanks in advance!
Hey Angela, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We appreciate the support and do not mind the questions. The bolt on suspension is being manufactured for most brands and it is not generic just to Alliance. The only factor for changing the suspension out is that the new trailer has the same measurements as the trailer that it was originally on. Example is the “wide track” suspension that was on our Heartland would not fit on our Alliance. If we pulled the independent suspension off our Alliance we would have to put the new trailers lead spring suspension on the old trailer and basically swap the suspension. The main difference between a 7k and an 8k is the weight rating on the suspension. There is a lot of difference in tire size, lug nuts, brakes sizes, etc. Honestly none of that matter too much; you have to decide if you want the heavier duty suspension or if your trailer already has 8k. If it does not, to move to 8k ends up requiring larger components (Wheels, tires, brakes) and may not be worth the extra money and weight for a minor gain. The last thing to consider is that no matter what suspension you choose you will not get the weight rating of the trailer changed and legally you can only use the numbers from the factory. The $13-14k with disc brakes is in the right price range for their 3rd party installation. It may be a little cheaper at MOrryde but that is a haul from Oregon. If we missed anything or you have additional questions don’t hesitate to email us Venturesomecouple@gmail.com . UA-cam stuck this comment in hold status and we don’t want to miss anything.
Have you ever considered hosting a road caravan to Alaska? With your experience, there would be great tour guides. It’s a trip I really want to experience, but don’t feel comfortable heading out on the Alcan alone.
We’ve thought about it. Currently we just started a podcast with an Alaska series, it can be viewed on UA-cam in our Podcast playlist, but it’s called “Working & Wandering”.
I’m a bit new to all this could you share what are the benefits are of doing this or what let you to make this change? I’m also going to be getting an alliance Paradigm.
Hey Melissa, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. The major benefit is that the independent suspension provides a far smoother ride and will not fail like a leaf spring suspension (Hopefully). We have traveled over 50K miles in just over two years, for us it is well worth the investment due to the increase in strength by putting on an 8K suspension versus a 7K leaf spring and axel. I will say that it is not a must have if you are not doing long travel or full time travel due to the cost. If you plan on keeping the Paradigm long term and will be doing a lot of travel. The independent suspension will protect your trailer by not beating it up as bad.
@@VenturesomeCouple thank you so much for your reply and all the information. You both are a joy to watch and I appreciate all of the information you’re able to give on Alliance.
Hey Darryl, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. There really isn’t a weight difference between the two. The main change is that all of the welding is done to IS system instead of the trailers chassis. We were told that the welding on the rv gave more room for error on the technician by burning under belly’s, melting wires, etc.
Thank you for watching our video, this upgrade is around 6-7K, depending on how you would want it configured, we added in a tray and some other stuff at the time. Prices will vary depending on your needs and what you have, if you need/want to change to disc breaks or add any other accessories. Best bet is to call to get a quote from MORryde and if you tell them we, Venturesome Couple sent you, you’ll get additional savings towards accessories at the time of install.
Okay, so you talked a lot about the suspension, but no cost, did they tell you not to mention or did they give it to you for a promotion gift. I no it’s not cheap but with no welding it should be less than the 8 to 10k based on how many axles.
Hey Alaska Road Tripper, love the name! Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. You are correct that the cost varies depending on the options you get. They have a 7K or 8K version, with or without disc brakes, and tandem or tripple axle. Over all it is between $7-10k as you mentioned. We are MORryde ambassadors and did partner with them on the Independent Suspension upgrade. We have to identify that by putting that it is a “Sponsored video”. We are not allowed to give specifics on our payment; we can say that we went through the same process as everyone else and were on the waiting list for a year prior to getting the upgrade.
Kodiakeddie, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. They did use a torque wrench all the way through the process. They also have a second technician go over everything with a torque wrench to double check the installers work.
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to check our little piece of the world. We have been very impressed with the IS, it has exceeded our expectations.

Thank you for watching our video, we did stay in the bay overnight, the first day was getting the first set of measurements, getting settled in the bay, they take the tires off. This new is bolt on saves about half the time of this process, so it saves about 8 hours of labor.
Hey Ricky, Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. The Independent Suspension is an option now directly from the Alliance factory for the Paradigm line. We agree with having as a standard option would be great! We have been told it comes down to the additional cost and that some people do not want the added price on their purchase. The leaf springs and drum breaks are significantly cheaper and are adequate to meet the safety requirements of the DOT.
So they build this nice suspension system, and then use the factory shackles to attach it to the frame??? Those shackles are the worst/weakest/most problematic part of the original suspension. How is this system holding up?
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. Martha is on the same page as you. It has been fine because there is not any load on the shackles. The square beam carries the entire load and the shackles keep it square. There has been zero problem with the system.
Hey thebearden2, Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. It adds about 800lbs to the trailer. The nice thing is that it is under slung weight and does not negatively impact the weight of the trailer above the frame. That being said, the DOT sticker does not change so the GVWR stays the same.
Thank you for watching our video, here is a link to the MORryde IS page. www.morryde.com/products/independent-suspension-system/ Here is a link to their Contact Us page, this bolt-on IS is not for every RV, but we recommend that you call them to find out if yours could get it, if not they can offer a solution for you. If you tell them that we, Venturesome Couple sent you & you get IS on your RV, you’ll get additional discounts at time of service. www.morryde.com/contact-us/
Thank you for watching our upgrade video for the MORryde Bolt-on independent suspension and disc brakes. We recommend calling MORryde or going to their website as pricing will depend on how many axles you have, if you have disc brakes or upgrading your disc brakes or not getting disc brakes, etc and if you’re getting any other upgrades at that time too. There’s a lot of factors for the pricing and MORryde is the best place for all of that information. If you mention, Venturesome Couple sent you, you will save a couple hundred dollars towards accessories when you get your IS upgrade. Interesting, your reaction to Arizona roads. (-: In my opinion, I-10 and 1-40 are some of the worst roads in the country... A national disgrace. We just brought a new 5th wheel home from Iowa this fall and we had damage before we even got back. I'm curious how much it was to upgrade? Yours is probably more expensive than it would be for our Alliance Avenue 23ML.
I have been keeping an eye on the bolt-on version. Actually, I had an appointment for our 5er, but between the price increase, current economic climate, and two other issues with our Solitude, my wife and I had to cancel. I have been to MORryde many times and know several folks there and am a Profesional Engineer. So it gave me great pain to watch the techs hammering down the fasteners with the impact then using a torque wrench improperly. Basically, every fastener is overtorqued... In years past, that would have never flown in their shop, but I suppose they have the same labor challenges all of us do in this day. Anyway, any issues now that you probably have ~2 years of travel on the install?
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We appreciate the context and feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your Grand Design.
@robv4053 I was thinking the same thing on using a torque wrench after hammering the fasteners down with that impact. Yeah, they are torqued. But what value exactly? And to clarify why you torque a bolt/nut: It's a way of controlling the stretch of a bolt so that it will stay fastened but will not break while keeping all of the design specs of that bolt. The way they did it, you shouldn't be surprised if you have a bolt break on you while under stress where a bolt torqued to spec will not break under the same stress. And when that bolt is a critical bolt on your suspension... Plus that somebody who does that kind of a job doesn't deserve the title "Technician".
Thank you for watching our video & supporting our channel, When we purchased our 5th wheel it was already built, as in we didn’t order it & it was already on a dealership lot, & it was a year prior model. Now our RV manufacture has partnered with MORryde to add independent suspension as a paid option to add it before they build the RV. This is a great product, thank you for information.
Thank you for watching our favorite RV upgrade. We both tow our 5th wheel & have noticed a huge difference with our bolt on independent suspension.
@@VenturesomeCouple thank you for a real world review of the unit. ♥️
Your welcome, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel.
Game changer
Absolutely 🤗 thank you for watching our video ❤️
I've been to Alaska a few times, all for work.
Thank you for watching our video & we hope you enjoyed Alaska while you were there for work.
@@VenturesomeCouple randomly I was there in August/September every time. Weather was great, being stuck on base... not so much lol
@@ticopowell Ah man, that’s a great time to be there, the weather starts getting cooler & rain comes. This year they are getting snow earlier. We are looking forward to heading back up to Alaska next summer after the National rally 🥳
@@VenturesomeCouple this is Caleb btw :) I'd love to go again and bring the family this time, but not in winter, Dani couldn't handle that hahaha 🤣😂🤣

Summer time is definitely the best time to go! Even we don’t want to go during the winter anymore. We miss you guys!
Thank you Craig,
We appreciate your support and kind words!
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. Thank you for the input on the Curt system, we were not aware that was an option.
@@VenturesomeCoupleyour previous axle was bent, not your fault, manufacturers are putting in axles that have a lower load rating than the static load of the Rv therefore the axle certainly cannot support the dynamic loading that the axle will have to support, thanks for a great video.
Hey David, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. Thank you for the great information about the load and weight.

Yes! Alaska is one my bucket list and so is the this IS system… haven’t bought the rig yet, but plans are in the works.
Awesome, of course we love Alaska. What rig are you looking at?
Great, I would love to get this done also, so how much weight do it add to your rv, do it affect the gvwr?
Do you have Lippert Center Point Air-Ride Suspension?
@@theghostlyorb not required but definitely a worth while upgrade for tire capability.
Check out the Trailer Saver TS-3 fifth wheel hitch.
Thank you, we'll check it out.
Can we ask what does this upgrade cost? And do you guys think its worth that cost?
How are you going to take it with you? Either you have to dispose of trailer or put on a new suspension to take it with you.
So you don’t have to have it welded? How would it safely stay attached? How often would you need to check the bolts that bolt it to the frame?
We tried 😀
Congrats on the upgrade. Do you mind telling me how much it cost? What's the warranty? Where did you store the axles?? Thanks
The upgrade varies between $7k-10k depending on options and sizes 7k or 8k suspension, dual axel, or triple axel. The warranty is five years.
Can you tell me what is better the 7k or 8k suspension. What are the benefits or differences. What did you go with and why?
Did you keep your old system? How do you move it to a new rig?
We can’t go the MORryde but we are going to an installer recommended by them
Called Henderson’s lineup in Grants Pass Oregon.

@@RVLifeWithTheMuirs Thank you, we hope you enjoy our podcast.

Where did you have the independent suspension system installed?
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We got the suspension installed at the MORryde factory in Elkhart, Indiana.
What was the difference in weight between bolt on or welded on?
Hey Darryl, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. There really isn’t a weight difference between the two. The main change is that all of the welding is done to IS system instead of the trailers chassis. We were told that the welding on the rv gave more room for error on the technician by burning under belly’s, melting wires, etc.
Yeck is!!!!!!!
🤗
what was the round about cost for up grade
Thank you for watching our video, this upgrade is around 6-7K, depending on how you would want it configured, we added in a tray and some other stuff at the time. Prices will vary depending on your needs and what you have, if you need/want to change to disc breaks or add any other accessories. Best bet is to call to get a quote from MORryde and if you tell them we, Venturesome Couple sent you, you’ll get additional savings towards accessories at the time of install.
Also, this video was filmed in May 2023, so prices may vary over time too.
Seems like it went pretty fast, was it a full day?
Thank you for watching our video, we did stay in the bay overnight, the first day was getting the first set of measurements, getting settled in the bay, they take the tires off. This new
is bolt on saves about half the time of this process, so it saves about 8 hours of labor.
If that’s the case, doesn’t the cost drop due to less labor hours?
I believe there is a small price drop but not much, I think it was about $150 less than previous price
Makes you wonder why these IS are not at least an option if not standard. All upside!
Hey Ricky,
Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel.
So….how much weight does the IS add to the trailer?
Hey thebearden2, Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. It adds about 800lbs to the trailer. The nice thing is that it is under slung weight and does not negatively impact the weight of the trailer above the frame. That being said, the DOT sticker does not change so the GVWR stays the same.
Thank you for the info

Anybody know about how much it cost for this upgrade?
Thank you for watching our upgrade video for the MORryde Bolt-on independent suspension and disc brakes. We recommend calling MORryde or going to their website as pricing will depend on how many axles you have, if you have disc brakes or upgrading your disc brakes or not getting disc brakes, etc and if you’re getting any other upgrades at that time too. There’s a lot of factors for the pricing and MORryde is the best place for all of that information. If you mention, Venturesome Couple sent you, you will save a couple hundred dollars towards accessories when you get your IS upgrade. And I’m sure depending on when you get your upgrade will determine the price as well, such as inflation or price changes, if your RV can get the Bolt-on versus the welded independent suspension.

And to clarify why you torque a bolt/nut:
It's a way of controlling the stretch of a bolt so that it will stay fastened but will not break while keeping all of the design specs of that bolt.
Thank you! We will pass along the feedback to MORryde. Also we do agree with you completely.
Pay $100k plus and have to upgrade suspension! Unreal
Thank you for watching our video & supporting our channel, When we purchased our 5th wheel it was already built, as in we didn’t order it & it was already on a dealership lot, & it was a year prior model.
