Did you recognise all the Ocean’s 11 references? If they do a reboot, I’ll have to throw my hat in the ring… If you’ve got any October gardening questions, leave a comment below and I’ll try to answer it in an upcoming video. And if you missed my ‘September In The Garden’ video then, don’t worry, it isn’t out of date just yet! I’ve still got bulbs and garlic to plant out... That was hilarious! That definitely kept my attention. I went to look how far I was through the video at one point and realized it was almost the end. Didn't even think to glance away earlier. I think you have the edutainment award for gardening channels with this one, my goodness. I've only thought to tell my own stories, but if you could keep this style up, you are definitely going to have rapid growth.
Thank you!!! Definitely think having all the extra characters really helps make it easier to digest. Might try and limit the size of the cast going forwards though
LOL, this was great Alex, your editing skills are starting to rival the top Hollywood movies. 🏆 Great tips and I've always had luck with runners, never been able to get anything from seeds.
Thank you!!! Runners are definitely easier and grow so much quicker. Strawberry seeds seem a bit like lavender and rosemary - too much work. Apart from surface sowing, covering the tray to keep humid and being very patient, I've not got any special tricks for seeds. Suspect coir (or even paper towels) is better than compost but I've not tested it.
Ahhh thank you!!! I actually left the white balance on auto so it took ages to hide the colour changes (and I got lucky with the sunshine). I think you're right, retention is pretty strong for this length of video. Highest engagement rate, so definitely the viewer's choice if not the algorithm's
Thank you! It's a great question. Most countries have signed up to an intentional convention which sets minimum standards of protection and implement their version locally. I think there are some differences on the exemptions e.g. over here it's private non-commercial purposes (and I think gifts are allowed) while in the US protected seed can only be planted on your own land & includes some farmers. Not an expert though
I cut off the outer layer of the strawberry and dry it and then scrape the seeds off. That way you can still eat the strawberry. Love how creative you got wit the video. The part where there are two of you... I'm still not sure if you did that with video editing or you have a twin. ;D
That's actually a genius solution. I ended up drinking a lot of very diluted strawberry juice... I have a lot of plants so it wasn't too much of a loss but I'll know next time! And lol, thanks. I do have a twin as it happens but it was all in the edit 😎 Getting the costume changes done & shooting for the 3 character scene before the light changed was more work than I thought it would be
Yeah, it's just me. It's fun but a lot of work. This one had the extra challenge of all the costume changes and trying to film each part before the light changed so I could stitch it together in the edit. Probably about 100 hours in all.

I wonder how these laws work internationally. Great video!

Guy Ritchie is getting nervous right now. He could never crack the Gardening market.
Ha, if only I could do a convincing cockney accent...
Brilliant Alex 😂
Thanks Stu!
@@alexgrowsfood do you do these videos all by yourself?

@@alexgrowsfood wow, hat off to you pal. 💪
This one was a brilliant little video 😂
Ha thanks. I got a little bit carried away. A lot of fun
