It makes me wonder how all modifications affects you fuel economy considering it takes "some" fuel to do pops and bangs Make a video when you put some miles on if you notice increase there Nice vid man keep it up!
I have one on my 05 accord and i love it because it doesnt have that tin can sound a lot of civics and other hondas with other exhausts have. It has a much deeper rumble
Hey bro. Love your vids. Just wondering if you've got stock clutch/flywheel and also are you running aftermarket engine mounts? Your CL9 seems quite a bit more responsive than mine in regards to heel toeing etc. Cheers mate!
Yeah stock mounts and flywheel. That's why I don't understand why people upgrade them. Waste of money in my eyes. With a reflash and headers it revs up all good
@@KiwiCarLife True. My mounts and clutch are busted, can't decide whether to spend the money on innovative mounts or just go OEM. Think I'll just resurface the stock flywheel and get a cheapie replacement clutch instead of forking out for an Exedy package. Cheers for the info dude. That Type R gearset is killer.
What brand exhaust is that mate!!?? It sounds pretty hella good. Is it a catback or heavy HKS or Skunk2 exhaust??? Me personally I love catbacks. Yonaka and Fujitsibo to the world!!!!
In us here. Have custom exhaust only cat back though, but single exit all the way back, from the fake dual exhaust that comes on the 2nd gen accord/tsx, also has a few other bolt ons. I can do this but i only get one loud pop when i let off, it doesnt gurgle lol. Love these videos on this car! Keep em coming
My theory is that maybe at that rpm for your car it cracked because the ignition timing isn’t as high because k series isn’t locked at a certain timing like the b series .
About the same.... 8-9L/100km under normal driving. The main difference is that I no longer use it as my daily so it tends to get driven a little harder than it did previously. But the mods havent changed the consumption per say
@@KiwiCarLife woah that's nuts man i have the k20z2 accord and its hitting those figures with only 153bhp. Its possible for me to upgrade to a k24 fairly handy so was wondering what the difference in consumption would be if i did. Glad to know now, thanks a million. Your videos are quality, cheers!
Previous owner of mine did a really good job doing it while keeping it as stock as possible, only thing I don't have is a K tuner but tbh I think he got rid of it before then because mine has ANC and his sub prob didn't work
recently got a highflow cat back highflow resonator with a sports performance muffler and it certainly pops and crackles but it’s not as loud what should i of done to my car to get it louder or what can i add on to get it louder
This is JUST what I needed 😍 can't wait to see what the solution is
Good to hear
New Gen be rocking round town popping now 😔😁
Haha nice

Cool. Interested now in a Yonaka exhaust. Just looking for more sample videos of sound. Cheers
Yeah man it sounds good, remember this has plm headers too tho
@@KiwiCarLife I did see that! Looked fantastic. Might as well do that bundle. Cats are going bad anyways, I can smell it now haha

hey what did you do with your secondary O2? did you remove it? or leave it ziptied somewhere?

Yeah ignition timing and fuelling are the cause
Hope you don't mind me asking why your engine light is on ? Cat?

sound very nice but you got a chek engine light do you know the reason im planing to do the same set up on my car

if i have a reflash from AUS, do i have to get a kflash?
Not necessarily, it's just who I recommend
heades + reflash + 2.5" or bigger exhaust system will have yours banging like a prostitute in vegas

It's too bad haha we just traded one recently, good car, boring though. No soul. Almost too perfect where it has no personality.
Is the pops and Crackle bad for the engine ?
Not the engine, but it will probably cause some damage to your cats if you do it regularly haha. Thankfully I dont have cats so it's all good
What type of exhaust system did u put it?
Yonaka
Why does that acura have a accord interior?
Because it is a Honda Accord not an acura
Will it not get too hot and blow up at 3k rpm?
What? No?
