Back in the early 2000’s, I was lucky enough to go to Whistler BC. Prior to that, I had snowboarded only around the U.S., including Colorado. I was a fairly good rider by that standard. But when I got to Whistler’s Nintendo 64 terrain park and saw their L and XL features, my mind was blown and I was humbled immediately. I had never seen features even close to that large before, even in Colorado. Towering. They absolutely dwarfed me. Trust me, everything looks smaller on video, and cameras cannot accurately capture their true size. There was a whole line of super kickers with lips _at least_ 15 ft above the deck. I remember looking at those features and thinking, if I don’t go at least 60 ft out and land this thing, it’s instant concussion and/or broken bones. Terrifying. Needless to say, I didn’t have the stones to hit the some of the L features or _any_ of the XL features. But there were lots of riders, skiers, and even _kids_ hitting those things and throwing absolutely massive tricks like it was nothing. It was a shot to the ego, for sure. It’s a completely different standard out there in B.C. Don’t be fooled, this guy is a pro and makes it look too easy!!
My Same exact story going to park city. I thought I was good until I saw a 13 yr old do a cab 7 off a 40footer and I was like, welp, guess i actuslly suck. Hahah
That has to be one of my favorite snowboard vids on UA-cam. Crazy how I missed from a year back. Thank UA-cam recommendations. And well done SA for such blissful chill yet hype up video. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
You made it look so easy! I'd strive to emulate that effortless riding style from you and Nev. I'm in my 30s and learned to snowboard only 3 years ago and this channel has been my go-to for tips to get better.
My buddy's Dad used to think tricks in snowboard videos were only ever "landed" because he legit thought they cut away before the crash every time, lol.
So smooth and chill riding style !! This place looks INSANE, such long runs packed with features. It was a pleasure to watch and wish I could go there someday :D
so happy you guys uploaded this! Just re-watched the tour through whistler park with Nev video for the 10th time last night, shame we don't get any Nev crashes in this one ;)
That park is insane. Most our resorts in Utah just throw a park in the is like 1/4 of the run. That park just keeps going for the whole damn mountain. Holy hell whistler must have a hundred people on park crew
This dude just nonchalantly ripped the shit out of this entire park... jesus man
ctrl-c, ctrl-v
Masssive park too…
Chatting the whole way through smooth as butter
1080 like nothing
"Just warm up" then throw a backflip 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 yeah no shit right
Some people just got flips like that haha.
Haha for real jeez
Hahahahaha ikr
On a feature that he calls small but is at least medium where I live😂.
So smooth all the time. I wish riding was as easy as he made it look like.

“Just gonna keep it simple and try to make it through” proceeds to boardslide through multiple kinks
bs and fs boardslides are simple ricks
Well it is simple even though not very easy
@Jonah Neiman how so?
dude's doin 3's off every rail too lmao
@Pinky yeah
WHAT? Dude you can’t be a human! You ride like a machine 🤙🏻 wow! Smooth, clear, powerfull and both directions. Amazing
I just love knowing that we all make the same sound effects loll the little "whoo's" and "sheww's"
Some of the smoothest best riding ive seen from snowboard addiction. Chase Baines is on one! More of his riding!
That has to be one of my favorite snowboard vids on UA-cam. Crazy how I missed from a year back. Thank UA-cam recommendations.
And well done SA for such blissful chill yet hype up video. 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Just casually sends it off the XL jumps like that was nothing lol So awesome, Whistler is so fun!
everyone praising the snowboarder and don't get me wrong he di an extraordinary job but the camera man did so good probably the best camera man ever

same here :)
What a paradise! In Poland, our resorts are like 100 years behind you.
Love this guys riding. Love these vids. Keeping it casual but still hitting technical lines
"We're just going to start with this small jump"
BACKFLIPPPPP!!!!
:D Lovely riding!
Dude needs to stop misleading the public. Making snowboarding look so easy is just plain wrong!
My buddy's Dad used to think tricks in snowboard videos were only ever "landed" because he legit thought they cut away before the crash every time, lol.
😂
This guys stomps every trick in his lines, whilst talking and barely breathing 😂
Thats my cuzin
So smooth and chill riding style !! This place looks INSANE, such long runs packed with features. It was a pleasure to watch and wish I could go there someday :D
Damn bro, I thought at first it was exaggerating in the title, but those lines were insane!!! Last one left me speechless.
Wow! So smooth and casual on those heavy hits.💪 More of this guy please.
I never usually comment on any videos, but wow. This guy is so smooth and makes it look effortless. Huge respect, one of my favorite videos so far.
being able to 'cruise' a park like that and throw any trick you want must be the dream!
Some gnarly ass tricks in there for keeping it simple.

Whistlers jumps are pure butter
Wow so clean. Amazing riding and really good videography and audio. Don't think I've ever seen a video with 7000 views and not a single downvote.
Cheers from France.
Really nice tricks.
Your switch riding is phenomenal. Kudos dude
this guys warm up is my entire day of riding
I love it. Many great UA-camrs I follow are based in Whistler so I've been very curious about this park. Definitely a must go park
this rider is amazing, effortlessly ride through all those features like walking in the park.
The lines u threw down while explaining the layout was impressive!
That is the proper way to enjoy the run 👍🏻

Whistler is so beautiful.
ur literally insane, that XL run was NUTS
HOW DO YOU DO ALL THOSE TRICKS WITH STRAIGHT LEGS??????
The effortlessness. Color me impressed.
So effortless that almost make me cry 😂
That was fun to watch
The only 2 things learned. 1. Whistler Black park is sick. 2. Years of experience > online lessons every time.
Dudes so good. 👍🤙
Holy moly, Jeff Spicoli! That was incredibly crisp.
Effortless 🤙🏻 wicked run man this was so clean. So nice to watch!
Chase is a beast
Great tour! Thx Chase and Mason! Now I want to visit Canada even more

The crazy thing about this is he hit the whole large line switch and landed bolts every time 😂 xl line was absolutely perfect too
Insane riding!
Great video!
That small jump was the size of the biggest jump at my local hill. My local hill is also only 250 vertical ft.
mt southington?
Did my first send. Didn’t even watch video had a buddy taught me the basic and he said I was a natural. Tell that to my arms and ribs
what a terrain park my goodness
How long has my man been snowboarding?
When will the board and jib trainer be back in stock cdn ?
That park is insane. Most our resorts in Utah just throw a park in the is like 1/4 of the run. That park just keeps going for the whole damn mountain. Holy hell whistler must have a hundred people on park crew
Just a few hard working legends!
Blackcomb park makes up maybe 1/4 of the ride to the bottom, and that’s not including the rest of the mountain above it lol
What a casual 1080 wow
A "plank" superstar!!!
I wish I could ride a 1/4 that well.
soooooooo clean.
I like how you where not rushing down the slops
