I love this USMC Recruiting Commercial. It shows a Brave American girl attacking a bully, playing Rugby, going through Basic USMC Training and finally on the Battle Field as a US Marine. Totally Awesome. I respect Brave American Women like this everywhere. GOD BLESS AMERICA. GOD BLESS The United States Marine Corps.

Fans, this is not 'Social Justice Warrior' stuff - just warrior stuff. The Marine Captain protagonist of the film is not being portrayed as an infantry officer - she's being portrayed as a logistics officer, which she is. She's portrayed reacting under fire like all Marines are trained to do, which she's done in real life, in a real firefight. Her story, service and dedication to our country is no less than any of yours because she happens to be a woman. We are recruiting those who share our fighting spirit, and who also meet our higher-than-ever standards and requirements. If that doesn't describe you, then you can probably find better ways to spend your time instead of posting comments on a recruiting-specific social media page.

Also, America doesn't do imoerialism, I don't recall the US by itself running a country overseas. Afghanistan, UN efforts and coalition one, same for Iraq. Fun fact about Afghanistan we pulled 90% if troops rhere in 2014 and handed all combat responsibilities to rhe ANA the same year and in Iraq we made a full withdrawal in 2011. Most of you have missed the whole point of the ad. It's showing the fighting spirit of the generic mos nonspecific Marine and how they take that honor and courage into the civilian world and enrich mankind.

Right we have it so easy, we have to fight this very stigma every single day of our days while in the service. You do not define the military or embody its warrior ethos. Basically you’re saying women are handed everything and that isn’t right, we fight so hard every single day. You can try the delegitimization of women in the Corps but it just won’t happen.

I was apart of the rugby part in this commercial. It was December when we shot it in baltimore and it was like 40 degrees and had it raining (sprinklers) on all of us. We were in shorts and a T-shirt. That’s the coldest I’ve ever been. And hey now I’m dating a marine so maybe it was a sign

Why is everyone so butthurt? It's a nice commercial. As a female Marine it's nice to see us acknowledged once in a while. It's not "pc" or whatever else everyone is complaining about because there are female Marines and they have been in combat. Other than stating that, this commercial is not making any other points.

DooDooHead ooo they put experiences 0311 males, most with combat deployments, against women who were not experienced infantrymen and did not have combat deployments. Besides, who cares, it was an unbalanced study, now, everyone in the infantry has the same physical standards (which is why all these comments are so cringe, most of these people don’t know that)

Meaning they haven't earned a spot it was giving to them for free which is unfair. I am Polish, I live in Poland but my dream is to try to get into the US Army.
I am a former Marine infantry Sargent, SOI instructor, and combat veteran. I am now the father of two beautiful women. I find it barbaric that any society would allow, let alone encourage, anyone's daughters to be placed in harm's way in combat. It is the duty of men to protect the future of society that is represented by women. This is why nature gave us greater physical strength and higher natural levels of aggression. This provides the natural balance to women for whom child bearing and nurturing are nature's gifts. The current fad of pretending that men and women are equally capable of becoming violent warriors is disgusting.

I met a few hundred females in the navy and air force. Every one I met was extremely happy with there decisions. I seldom met any women who did not turely love being part of the armed forces. I say prob 90 percent of all the women I ever knew. We're on there 3rd 4th and 5 th contract. Says Alot I think.
