USMC ads that link past to present are always the best. There is no generation gap in the USMC. Young Marines never stand taller than when some hobbled veteran from Pelileiu, Chosin or Hue is on deck watching. It is more important to "Look Sharp" to that veteran Marine than to any "VIP of the Day", such as President, Senator, etc. The respect and honor for the examples and standards set in blood by those "Old Corps" Marines is the bond that erases "generation gaps".

It wasn''t mentioned in this particular video but read or watch about the US Marines who retook the City of Hue in S. Vietnam in February 1968 & those are about the finest Marines ever to fight a battle the way even though wounded would not leave their fellow Marines, that was why being a Marine meant everything to me Semper Fi

Hem of the Sky Marcus luttrell once said that if you released the chains off of the marines they could take over Iraq. The marine corps are the war dogs of the military. Without a doubt.
@Hem of the Sky l have the honor to know a couple of Marines, and know that they dont stop being Marines when they return to civilian life. Being a Marine is being held to a higher standard one of dedication and sacrifice. They make it a point to study the US Constitution to understand exactly what they fought and sacrificed for. If you got a problem its with the politicians and the ruling class not those whose motto is " Always faithful".
@Hem of the Sky Why? Do you get a special victim certificate if your country is in a war under sufficiantly any threat of ultimate destruction? Do you need equivelency when you are retaliating when some ahole kills 3000 of your citizens in your country? Maybe we should give them some nukes, what could go wrong? Do you think there is some authority we should run to present a case for redress? I will tell you there is not.

This is one of the best military commercials I have ever seen.....Very moving and motivating......and I'm a former squid........although the America's Navy (a global force, for good) is pretty good too!......I worked with Marines all four of my years in the Navy.....you fuckin Jarheads will always be my brothers in arms....Much respect
This is my favourite commercial
It wasn''t mentioned in this particular video but read or watch about the US Marines who retook the City of Hue in S. Vietnam in February 1968 & those are about the finest Marines ever to fight a battle the way even though wounded would not leave their fellow Marines, that was why being a Marine meant everything to me Semper Fi
Oh man this gives me goose bumps im so pumped to join
Bless every human that joins the army, they are all brave men and deserve whey ore respect than what they already have.
Anybody have the high quality version?
the Marines were formed even before we won our freedom from England. They have fought where ever they were sent. name a war and you will find the Marines.Semper Fi
Gotta say you americans are pretty good at making commericals for the military! Semper Fi!
it has always been a part of me to fight for those who could not fight for themselves
great work man you do love the marines i hope you make it :D
what is the name of the speech that is given in this video?
USMC = MODERN DAY SPARTANS
Mr. Shepherd
Is that a self insult?
This is MARINE COOOOOOOOOORPS!!!!
The US Marines are dedicated to protect and defend the American nation from enemies and adversaries, foreign and domestic.
What's the song name? Badassery at its finest!

Someone please tell me how I can find that speech
This makes me proud to be one of the few
Who was that guy talking in the back.. Very inspirational
What is the speak heard part way through about Iwo Jima and Europe, he was also around we did raise a flag on the 3rd day but the battle lasted another 25, it was the longest battle in the pacific front
That's the result of a Japanese commander who look past bushido to modern warfare imperatives.
