Catching Late Summer Crappie

- Crappie can still be caught in the late Summer days but they maybe a bit finicky. We joined our old buddy Kyle Lasater (who you may not recognize) on Bull Shoals Lake in NW AR for some crappie catching and Scott Turnage mishaps on a late September day where just because you find the crappie, doesnt mean they want to bite! Hope you enjoy the episode.
The G3 Boat used in todays show is the G3 Sportsman 1910. Check it out at:

Great show as always!!
Yup had those days where everything was going wrong 🤣
Great video
Thanks for watching!
Man kyle! Looking good man. 👍
He’s thin as a cracker now!
Lyle is the new crappie hammer!
Lyle is the man! 😁
I think everyone has one of them days- I know I do
This day was a doozy 🥴
Thanks Scott and Wes and G3 for sharing right where the Lassiter's took you to fish today. Guess you thinking about Lonnie is what kept you in the bottom of the boat today. We miss the cut up times you all had here on Rayburn but you're getting some of the orneriness back in with the K&L Brudder-in-one. Those were a nice mess of Crappie you all caught, I bet Wes drooled enough to wet the boat and rinse it out. I like the G3 1910 and the changes on it. Stay safe and keep up the good works. Fred.
Thanks Fred. I do miss my Texas runs and good ole Lonnie. Always nice hearing from you.
I'd be interested to hear how he lost all that weight. Happy for him!
What is your equipment setup for doing this? Also line type and size?
We used 8’ ACC CrappiesStix with slip corks on 8lb braid
