Thanks man. It was a good time for sure. I normally fish by myself 98 % of the time. This is only the second time we've fished together.

Much respect for releasing that questionable size crappie. I've seen so many people keep short fish out of the lake, it's nice to know you practice the size limit too. Awesome crappie, enjoyed watching it on a 19° morning 😊

Yep no reason to keep a short fish. It was 4 degrees here when I woke up this morning. No fishing today

Just ran across your channel, really enjoying watching you catch those slabs.
My son and I are going to be down that way in a few weeks. Do you think crappie will still be on the brush, or towards spawning areas? We will be in kayaks, so a little bit limited. Looking forward to your next video, thanks for bringing these for us to watch.

Thanks for watching. I'd say the crappie by then will be in the spawning areas. They are already on the move. You will still find some on the shallower brush piles I'd say.

My aunt and uncle used to own a resort around the corner from there. Salats resort is what it was called.

What kind of casting rod are you using here and what are your thoughts of it? Looking into purchasing a new one soon. Great video

Acc crappie stix. Best rod I've ever used. This is the 6ft 6.
