  • The crappie are migrating up the rivers from Table Rock Lake to their annual spawning grounds and G3 Sportsman Scott Turnage and long time friend Capt Rick LaPoint are finding the crappie are holding tight to the bottom. The clear water makes it a challenge so, they hang back casting to the blips they see on the LiveScope. Also, you maybe surprised at to what bait the crappie are responding to.

great show as always, Scott! It’s funny, along with a bobby garland plastic on one rod, I always have 2.8 keitec on med-light bass rod. The bigger crappie love the keitec. That prodigy has been taking over Lanier for about a yr now. It’s a good one. I need to get me an ACC stick! Maybe a 6’ one for shooting docks.

Using the Keitech was a first for me. They’d nail it!

Hello ! I want to buy me a ACC crappie stix spinning rod for casting from the bank and I’m looking for a spinning rod that have a strong backbone and not a flimsy bull whip rod that Walmart and the big box stores. I am looking at the 7’6” and the 8 foot super grip ACC crappie stix spinning rod. Which one would you recommend me to buy for casting the 7’6” are 8 foot super grip spinning rod please. May the lord bless your heart today to answer my question and may the Lord continue to bless you and your family and your UA-cam channel in 2024 please 🙏 Thanks

Now the longer the rod the “whippier” the tip. I’d go with either the one piece or two piece 6’6” for bank fishing. It’ll cast good and can handle about anything you’ll catch. Good luck out there.

Awesome show fellas. I've been fishing the Osage and gasconade River. It's tough. A bunch of nice crappie.
