Hello, I am a newlywed couple from Korea, and we will be traveling to the beautiful South Island of New Zealand this February. We plan to rent a car and travel from Twizel to Queenstown, and we’re thinking of doing some fishing as well. Since this will be our first time fishing for trout, and we don’t know how to use lures, spinning, or fly fishing, we are considering using power bait for reel fishing. Could you recommend any spots where beginners can catch fish? Thank you so much!

Saltwater 피싱 장비를 그대로 fresh water 에 이용 해도 되는 게 맞나요? 이게 궁금한 이유는, 보통 송어/연어 낚시 장비가 다르게 생겼고, 무엇보다 헌팅&피싱 가게에 별도의 낚시 장비가 있다 보니, 바다 장비를 강에서 쓰면 안되는 룰 같은게 있는지 궁금해서 입니다. (fresh water 장비가 또 비싸더라고요.) 2. fresh water 낚시 할 때도 루어 말고 진짜 미끼 (엔쵸비, 정어리, 오징어 또는 warm 등) 를 써도 되나요/ 정부 사이트에 보면 'bait' means 해서 써도 되는거 같은데 또 다른 규정을 보면 'No licence holder shall fish for trout or salmon except by using a rod and running line and authorised lure (as defined in clause 7 of this First Schedule)' 이런 문구가 있습니다. authroised lure 는 바다 낚시에 이용하는 웜이랑 다른 건지 궁금합니다. fresh water license 는 구매했는데, 막상 연어/송어 낚시 하려니 규정이 너무 어렵네요. 조금씩 saltwater 피싱 장비를 업그레이드 하고 있는데, fresh water 피싱 장비를 별도로 구매 할 생각하니 비용이 너무 걱정이네요. (fresh water lure 도 엄청 비싸던데...) 너무 길게 질문 드려 죄송합니다.
안녕하세요? 북부여행은 잘 다녀오셨어요? ^^ 송어 연어 낚시 기준이 좀 까다로운거 같아요! 아무래도 훼손되기 쉽기 떄문에 그런거 같아요. 전문가는 아니지만 제가 아는 한도내에선 낚시 장비는 상관없어요 바다낚시 루어대 사용하셔도요. 대부분 낚시지점가시면 Fish & Game사인에 해도 되고 안해도 되는 게 안내되어있거든요. 그 표지판은 참고하시는게 제일 안전한거 같아요! 지역마다 다르거든요. 한 강이나 한 호수에서도 포인트마다 플라이낚시만 되는 지점도 있고 낚시가 금지된 기간도 있구 막 그렇거든요. 우리나라처럼 어종별로 지역별로 금어기도 있으니 꼭 알아보시고 하시고요! 미끼는 웜이나 콘이런거 사용해봤어요, 트와이젤같은겅우 연어낚시에 새우나 엔쵸비 사용하는건 봤는데...건 잘 모르겠어요. 스프트배잇이나 메탈루어사용하는데 일반적이이에요! 어쨌든 가시려는 강이나 호수 그 지점의 규정을 찾아보시고 하시는데 제일 안전합니다 도움이 되셨으면 합니다.
My favorite are mepps black fury size 2. They are about 5 gram in weight (1/6 ounce) But it depends a lot where you fish. Generally though I find that smaller is better for trout.
New Zealand's fishing spots are ethereal. Definitely on my bucket list to go fishing there.

네~ 방갑습니다! 퀸스타운은 성수기에 가면 사람도 많고 고기 잡기 어려운거같아요! Hayes, Moke 둘 다 아무것도 못잡았어요 호수가 깊고 넓어서 어렵더라구요. 다음번엔 글레뇨끼 함 가보세요~ 넘 예쁘고 고기도 많아요! 샌드플라이도 많아요 ㅋㅋ

Unless I head out into the ocean, I usually don't use a life jacket when wearing a wetsuit. A wetsuit provides enough flotation.
