Im loving this podcast. Jamie is so lovely. I think this was my favourite interview so far. So good to see the person behind the persona. I wish he wouldnt feel bad for having a break-down though, Im not surprised all the shit caught up with him.
Good podcast! Used to watch Dynamo years ago I said at the time I think he is an Alien because he was so brilliant he couldn’t be human! Didn’t know anything about his journey to get there Brave young man ! I need to watch some more of his magic!
Dynamo never failed to amaze and shock people. He was absolutely fabulous. He was so in demand that he was having no time left for his wife and child. "This too shall pass," is something that has given me comfort and hope for years now. Steven NEVER made people feel lower than himself, never!
Fantastic interview. The card trick at the end though….?? I met him many years ago at a book signing in Sheffield. He was so lovely he walked through the centre of town from the train and kids were following him. A woman in the queue said she firmly believed that he was Jesus sent back down to earth. I don’t know about that but I firmly believe he can read people’s minds somehow.
This episode should be shown in schools around the world. Jamie, I recently discovered you and I am in awe. Steven, you are a kind hero. Thank you.

I think it's a tough job being a stand out magician, but you do stand out and it's quite an achievement. Hard to describe what it is... magic maybe :)
