Oh for sure, and I enjoy the art of it. Some people do turn their head and look at it funny though, lol. If they don't see it or understand it, nobody can make them...and that is ok!
heyyyy, good on you for getting out there and doing it! So much respect for you being able to overcome that and let yourself enjoy this amazing hobby. I bet before long you are ripping harder than me even though I am using both!
Another cool video thanks. I find my biggest struggle is finding uncrowded spots when I got time and the weather is fine and having a spotter that has time as well, basically happens as often as planets align.
I totally get that. Ever spot I want to fly seems like it is filled with people. I never have time to drive around forever looking for a spot, and anyone there to have my back and keep a look out is usually a no go. I wind up stuck in the same old places where I can fly safely and comfortably without ruining anyone's day, lol.
that is no lie, lol. i wish I had a crew around here so we could all share tips about spots we notice while we are out...but instead it is just me in a dark room with google maps dropping pins everywhere. Then I go out to the spot and its all fenced off, locked up, or nothing like the most recent google maps image :(
You mentioned a lot of things you can't do in the video, but let me highlight something you are good at: when you are explaining your unique flying style. You make the complexities of learning to fly much more understandable, making it easier for viewers to grasp. This clarity in is truly incredible. My power loop got so much better after watching your video about it. This is the second video of yours I've watched, and I've already learned so much from them. Thank you!
heyyyyy, thank you!!!! I like the whole opposition of going from flow to crazy floppy sbang. It is kind of like what goes on in my head allll the time, so it lets me express it a bit :)
Thank you bro!! I really do like shooting these kinds of videos, but it only happens when everything lines up just right and I can be out flying for that long. I am really going to try and mix more of them in though!
First of all great video and thank you for it and you make it look easier than it is. I just bought my first freestyle quad a week ago. I don’t even have a dozen packs through it yet and I can kind of do a sloppy juicy about 30 feet off the ground, I can do a few other tricks, but what I’m getting at is I would love to see as you’re teaching the trick, show it in slow motion voice at like 25% frame rate. It would be so helpful because then you can actually see the sticks and the quad at the same time and see the exact inputs a lot more clearly because it just happens so fast on these. I appreciate all the effort you put into it so thank you!
I put my quad face first into the ground so many times while I was learning them, lol. It just takes a ton of repetitive practice until they start to be second nature, then before you know it they are popping up everywhere in your freestyle! Thank you as always man, I really appreciate you!
Your a good pilot dude keep it up it’s your channel and it takes work to have a channel as good as yours so good luck I hope you keep doing what makes you happy. ✌️
Thank you!!! I really appreciate it :) I will absolutely keep doing those happy things, because at the end of the day the whole idea of the FPV hobby is to help enjoy life just a little bit more.....and break a bunch of things, lol.
Yo, your style is amazing, don’t listen to the haters. Story time: When I watch FPV videos with my sister, she can pick you out 100% of the time, even when I try to trick her. She really likes your style and so do I man. It is unique and beautiful. All the people I have shown really love your flying. It’s not usually the case. Happy flying Baconman and all! ❤️❤️❤️
man, you seriously made my night! I really appreciate you man, and love that people are enjoying my silly little vids together. I love the idea that FPV can feel like one big family sometimes, and this absolutely gave me those feels!
Great rippin brother! Tutorials are on point! All we can do is love the haters bro, jealousy comes in all forms of hate, blow em a kiss from your success 😂😂 Keep it up!
Thank you man!! I started making videos because I had fun doing it, and I kept making them so that I could just go back and laugh at myself later, lol. It is always going to be that way for me, and no matter how may people tell me they don't like how I fly, it makes them sick, or it doesn't even have real tricks, i am just gonna keep on doing it for me!
Thank you very much!!! Let me just go ahead and apologize for the psychological damage that watching so many of my videos must have already caused you...and all that it will cause you in the future, lol.
Way back (4+ years), i even made a video about it.. just adding yaw to anything really makes things interesting... ua-cam.com/video/ntzth5aKZNs/v-deo.html
duuuuuuuuude, I NEED that shirt!!!!!!! great minds think alike man, lol. People just forget yaw exists, and I think it is because not every pilot understands how the quad moves in the air quite the same way. It is kind of a weird axis if you think about it, and you just have to use it to really get the full concept and potential of it. Yaw squad for life!!
Great video man! I’m looking to get more into Fpv. I currently have the avata, but I’m looking to find another set up. What would you recommend a good starter kit that isn’t too overly expensive? Thank you
Well if you have the Avata, that is actually a great start for some other rigs! The Goggles 2 you have and even the Controller 2 if you have one for your Avata can be used on FPV quads with the DJI O3 system on board and some are designed for you to use that same controller with as well. iFlight makes a bind and fly Nazgul V3 O3 quad that has the correct VTX for your goggles and will let you pick an option to use your DJI controller 2 if you already have one as well. That setup runs around $550 and would require you to also get some 6S batteries and a good charger for them, but much cheaper than buying other versions of everything all over again since you already have some pretty great goggles!
Nope, the music was all added in post :) I just spend a whole lot of time picking tracks with the right kind of drops so that I know it will work out well in editing.
You are very welcome!! I am using a program called gimbal ghost and my blackbox logs to get that stick overlay. I actually have a vid on the channel about how to do it if you are interested :)
Thank you!! So it really comes down to just a couple of simple things. First, it is about maintaining speed that happens during movement. Sometimes I use the speed of a sudden altitude change or try to carry speed from a move where I am flying sideways and the up tilt isn't in the direction the camera is seeing. Second, it is about throttle control. More or less just knowing when I can and can't give it more throttle to keep it on the line I am on. Really everything just comes down to stick time with the style and getting the muscle memory down for when I can get up some speed and when I can use that speed.....
Wtf you mean no flow???? Flow isn't constant it's alive and change all the time, love YOUR FLOW, slow to chaos to slow again, thanks for the video now i got something new to work on 😎👍
I seriously get those things alll....of....the time, lol. But like I said, im just flying the way I like to fly because it expresses me as a pilot and what is going on in my brain, and at the end of the day that is all any of us should be shooting for! Get your grease on!!!!
I would say that I have gotten more "what is this", "this crap makes me dizzy", "no flow at all", and "you aren't getting close to anything" comments over the past year than positive ones, lol.
@@BaconNinjaFPV So what? not everybody likes to do the same thing everyone else are doing, tight power loops thru a tight gap is cool, but to be able to have full control of the quad when its flipping like a cat on crack now that's impressing
You speak about smooth movement then quick moves. You are bacon ninja after all, smooth with a KAPOW at the end🥋🤣🤣 If BMX riders can rip on open ground i.e flatland, then why not quads🤷♂️
lolol, I guess there are just various camps...some people love SBANG and others want to see it destroyed with fire. Us #yawsquad pilots gotta stick together!!!
Thank you!!! I have actually been holding on to that track for a while now and looking for a place to use it. I like how odd it sounds and wanted to mix it with that dystopian color scheme. It is called Dusks and is by Wundatrip.
I totally agree with you! One of the big draws of this hobby is it is more like an art than a science, and that individuality should be celebrated. Send it how you want, where you want, with what you want!
Thank you man, I really appreciate you!!! Flying the 533 rates I see, not a bad choice at all. My rates are actually just slightly above that at 600dps on all axis'. I really think it comes down to full stick deflection and how much of that you really like to do as a pilot. Some people go with low rates and don't mind getting the stick all the way over while others go with higher rates and want to make little bitty stick moves. I am all about the lower rate camp!
@@BaconNinjaFPV yeah your absolutely right. I feel the full stick deflection gives you more resolution and better overall control. But like you said it's what you get used to. Kool
Looks like your not the only person to enjoy that area by the look of all the tyre marks on the floor lol. Nice ripping fuck the haters that are most probably sim pilots that don’t even own or even flown a real quad.
Theres a reason you’re the only one doing these types of “tricks”… They aren’t visually appealing imo. The inverted yaw spins are so fast and chaotic, its just a blur. Same with the double rolls and yaw slides. It looks like you’re in a constant state of trying not to crash rather than in control of your style. Its hard to watch. 🤷🏼♂️
Your flow is like your signature as an fpv pilot... Don't apologize for giving us that autograph 👊
