Concurrent sentencing is an insult to all the women he has assaulted. The 25 to 31 years is an insult to the victims as well. In addition to the deep, long lasting emotional trauma, his latest victim has brain damage and that is her life sentence. She'll never be the mother she always wanted to be for her child, never hold a job, and as brain traumas typically worsen as the person ages ( I have clients with brain injuries so I see that progression), she will need support for the remainder of her life.
