Going for my cbt on sunday and I am very nervous, I suffer from severe anxiety so it doesn't help, been watching lots of your videos and I hope I do well
My "instructor" didn't have any of these useful inputs when I took my CBT yesterday. He pretty much just left us to it and would freak out if the bike in front did something wrong. Going back tomorrow for a few more hours after I decided I wasn't comfortable on the road yet. I was there for 6 hours, we spent probably 3 riding and 1 going over equipment and the road. Seems like I wasted my money.
Hi RJH Motorbikes, thank you so much, for this video footage, its nice how your very clear, with any manoeuvre's & directions, also ,the Audio for us to listen to is Extremely helpful, thank you RJH motorbikes Manchester ,for this Excellent quality video ,really helpful & happy riding friend 🙂🙂🙂
I am 17 and will be doing my CBT, I have never been on a motorbike before, the only thing am nerves about is the gearing do you go through it a lot when doing a CBT?
Just had a CBT today, they explained the gears not as good as I expected. They didn't even explain how to change to 2nd gear. As for a 17 year old who never rode any vehicle, explaining how gears work is probably important 🤗
Question: During Section E of the CBT, is their a little break (15 minutes or so) in between the hours to help with tiredness of focusing for the length of time?
Different schools will and won't although a break and chat will be around the uturn and estop. Your Instructor will see if your tired, and act accordingly. If your concerned ask your Instructor ok
What is the safest thing to do when stalling the motorcycle when coming out of a junction? Like what happened to that chap entering the roundabout. Especially if having problems restarting it. Thanks.
aviii It happens, to the best of us! That said when i am teaching, i just try and take control without pressurising the pupil, you might of heard me mention many times to control the clutch. If your out and about on your own, relax, if it happens what is behind you? if there is nothing try going again, if lots of traffic consider moving out the way to let them past then try going again. Hope this helps
Really nice instructor and instructions, clear advise, confidence building
The guy taking the riders out is excellent... very impressed.

RJH Motorbike Training Manchester Blade Honda in Swindon. On my second day I had a much better instructor though and passed after an hour on the road.

Poor lad got frazzled around 8.10. Totally understandable bout of nerves...
I always thought you follow an instructor?
Sometimes maybe
I find some students in videos drive way too fast for their ability
Can u ride a scooter at the age of 14
I believe you can book your cbt just before your 16th birthday
not on the roads
Congrats, you can ride a scooter now
