When in a “following X npc” part, often times going at a slow trot is best, because scripted dialogue can be skipped if you just gallop super fast and get to the destination before the conversation between your character and others finishes

Played this game back in 2019 defeated it twice in %100 completion.
once you leave the snow level youre all on your own, its completely open world free roam so DON'T be afraid to just explore the world. In fact most of us spend hours ignoring the storyline so we can just ride out and do personal missions like Hunt Legendary Animals and find new locations, go after Gangs, do Bounty Hunting and random encounter missions. so Take your time, this game can run for hundreds of hours if you just do side missions and make money by hunting and robbing, dont worry about Honor, youre an outlaw

This game breaks massive ceilings in gaming with the graphics and background “gameplay”. For instance theres a building/house that’s being built in one of the towns and as you progress in the game it gets fully built. Most games don’t do that. Also most if not all npcs have a daily routine that they do. This is seriously one of the best games ever made

@@koki84ji7 I usually can't bring myself to play as the bad guy in games like Mass Effect or Red Dead, doing one playthrough just to experience some of the unique cutscene differences.
A little tip for combat. If you hold L2 onto an enemy it’ll “snap” onto them making it easier to aim specifically at a body part. Also after you kill someone it’s good to let go of L2 and then hold it again near someone so it will “snap” onto them. Great gameplay so excited you guys are playing this!

Does the tone change depending on your honor rating? I always have issues playing certain characters as evil in games that let you play that way lol

Some tips for you guys just on controls and everything.
R1 is how you crouch behind cover which is important in a big shoot out. If you aim while behind cover you’ll peak the cover so you don’t need to stand out in the open in a fight
tapping x or pressing R1 again from behind cover will let you quickly run out of cover.
Also in a fight if you stop aiming for a second then re-aim you’ll lock onto a target which makes gunfights a lot easier. Also while locked on a target you can aim up a little and get an easy headshot. Which is an insta kill.
When you kill a target a small x will appear on your retical and the screen slightly flashes brighter which tells you that you killed them. If that x doesn’t appear then that target is still alive.
Square is also how you reload your guns which you can do from behind cover.

Honestly, take your time through all of it, explore every little road, random little areas, go off on our own and interact with random characters.
I've played this game through about 6 times, and I'm still discovering things I've never seen before.
This game is perfect for you guys.
That said, I can already predict there will be LOTS of accidentally shooting people.
Oh no. I hadn't even considered how often innocents will get accidentally murdered. And you know it'll be a hot minute before they manage to pay off their first bounty 😂

Everyones favorite, and mine is 700 hours and thats only for story not counting online
Without spoiling, I'll explain the Honor system. You'll gain high honor or low honor depending on your actions. High honor gives you cheaper prices at shops and extra outfits at the tailor. Plus more loot. If you have low honor, then shop prices will remain the same with the exception of dead eye tonics which will get cheaper. Its hard to beat the game with high honor as it requires sacrifices, where it's much easier to play with low honor since you care little about taking lives and doing crimes. The major difference between the 2, again without spoiling is the endings. Whether your high or low by the games end will effect what type of ending you get. In my opinion, both endings are worthy of a conclusion from a great live action western film, so don't worry about what level of honor you want to be at by the games end, just make decisions that feel right to you. It's my favorite way to play.

The honor part is actually untrue. From my experience it's almost the opposite. The game actively directs the player into making the better choices
I feel like getting and keeping high honor is super easy 🤔 you might kill someone by accident but just make up for it but saying hello to a few townsfolk as you pass by 😌

I think after finishing this game, they will be tempted to replay with full low honor mode 🎉
@artsysabs715 Seasoned players will have no issue keeping high honor. New players however almost always beat the game with low honor on the first playthrough. Plus they have Mason Quinn, so i doubt they'll keep a good reputation lol.

Holy crap when Oak fell off that tower after working on looting all those dead dudes i totally lost my $hit!!!!😂😂😂😂 Laughed so hard i woke up my daughter, but so worth it. I just love y'all to peices. Hearing so many frustrated f bombs out of a normally well spoken just all around polite guy during movie reviews is so funny to me. And ps i love it when Quinn figures out something before the other 2 of you cause that just redeems us folks that havent played games in a long time!!❤️💞❤️ Ur doing great fellas, keep it up!!
Guys one more thing, consider posting on 1080p at 60fps, it might be a little bit more to render and little bit heavier storage wise but they make gaming videos a hundred times better, loving this channel so far!
the gauge and cores are confusing when you first start out.
the gauge is that ring around your health and stamina, itll drop when youre tired or injured, it can be increased through exercise and eating but it can also be refilled by drinking health cures or tonics, but the core itself is that heart and lightning bolt symbol inside the gauge. THAT core will only fill by eating food, if the gauge is down you will start using up your core, and when your core and gauge is down you pass out or die, Oak died pretty quickly in the shootout because his gauge kept running out and his core was on red so when he was getting shot he was taking more damage and not healing as quick right after, if your core is on red you dont refill your gauge as quickly. but if you eat solid food when your core is used up you can refill your core and your core can refill the gauge automatically.

Cores are similar to the Minecraft hunger bar. That's how I figured it out.
YESSS i'm so hyped for this!! you guys are gonna love this one! a couple of small gameplay tips i usually give people when they start this game: *1)* in the settings i suggest choosing the subtitles with the speakers' name. it will help you learn characters' names and voices faster/easier. *2)* when riding with another person, don't go too fast, or you'll cut the dialogue short and miss out on important info and backstory about the world and characters. wait until the dialogue has ended and then you can haul ass the rest of the way to your destination if you want lol. *3)* side quests (called stranger missions) are optional, you don't have to do them. but i highly recommend you do because they are super fun in this game and they flesh out the characters (arthur especially) and the world so much more. *4)* your radar in the bottom left corner of the screen is like the side mirrors and rear view mirror of a car, you should give it a glance every once in a while. it will show you where you need to go duing missions, and if you're ever riding around and hear something but can't see where the noise is coming from, your radar will show you. *5)* lastly, explore! there are so many cool little details, easter eggs, and hidden treasures everywhere in this game. 😁
actually *one more thing* that you can totally ignore if you want but you should be aware of: regarding the whole honor/dishonor mechanic... playing honorably is generally much more rewarding than playing dishonorably in this game insofar as you will miss a lot of iconic cutscenes and a few special items if you choose to be a 'bad guy.' playing dishonorably is generally recommended for a second playthrough. so if you are particularly interested in the story aspect and getting the most out of this game, i _highly_ recommend going the honorable route for your first go at it (especially if you plan to only ever play through this whole game once), and probably most other players will agree. but if you just wanna have fun and you aren't concerned with the story so much, then don't worry about honor/dishonor and do whatever you want. you are free to play however you want and you're still going to have a blast either way, and so will all of us who get to come along on the ride! 👍 that's the beauty of RDR2, no two playthroughs are exactly alike, there are just that many variables in this masterpiece of a game!

Welcome to one of the best cinematic gaming experiences there is. This game is truly a gem. A couple tips,
Most of the revolvers in game are single action, how they show this in game is that you need to press the fire button twice to fire your revolvers, once to cock back the hammer and again to fire the weapon. The same applies for the lever action rifles, once to operate the lever and again to fire. That looks to be the cause of a little frustration in the gunfights as to why your weapon isn't firing.
When you're playing on a console like the ps4 your aiming has a bit of forgiveness with the aim assist feature which basically means if you're aiming kinda near someone and hold L2 it will lock on for a few seconds but it wont hold that lock forever and you'll need to manually aim. You should be able to let go and hold the button again to get that lock back.
Loving the gaming channel, can't wait for more.

Red dead 2 has SO many secrets and easter eggs . It’s actually beautiful
One tip i would recommend is staying behind cover as much as possible with R1 during gun fights. You will be able to auto aim on to the enemies and then once you stop aiming you will go back to cover. Also you can switch to first person for the gun fights but im not sure what button it is on playstation.
I put upwards of 120 hours into this story. It’s so dang good. The free roaming just has so much to offer. I also met the actors for Arthur and John and they were super nice
300 hours in and I'm still finding new mysteries and interactions..you can smash through the story but you will miss so much, I recomend take a breath and explore the open world..for a few episodes once you get to chapter 2 ..its a masterpiece ..
If you press the touchpad on your controller it changes the camera positions and one of the positions puts you in first person if you guys want to shoot in first person
Btw Arthur was 14 and Dutch and Hosea found him and raised him as an outlaw, now Arthur is 36, Dutch is 44, Hosea is 55, they also got John when he was 12 and arthur was 22 so they’re like brothers
pressing the aim button while faced anywhere near your target will make Arthur lock on to the target on instinct so you can shoot right away once you aim and see the red sight. if your target is moving too far away from your sight just stop aiming , look towards the enemy and click the aim button again and depending on your gun you should be able to lock on instantly.
revolvers shoot more, shotguns deal more damage at close range and rifles are better with accuracy and damage for long range.
Just discovered this channel from the main one. Super excited to see this full playthrough. This is easily one of the greatest games out there! Its a ride. I recommend not rushing through it. The world is super immersive and their is a lot to explore. I wish I could play it for the first time again!

All the little details they include in this is so cool. Looking into your binoculars out across the landscape, you might witness a hawk or eagle catching a snake. Brushing and feeding your horse increases your bonding. The little background conversations of NPCs. This game is great.

The fact you can be a good guy or bad guy and determine how certain situations end is my favorite part of this game. The amount of time you can spend roaming around getting the legendary animals, all the UFO and hidden stuff in this game is insane. And the fact GTA 5 even had an Arthur Morgan headstone and holden revolver online when this game came out was crazy too. This is definitely peak Rockstar gaming

Holy s***! I was just about to comment and recommend this on your DBH playthrough! This is one of the best story games and Arthur Morgan is genuinely my favorite protagonist in Video games, you guys are in for a ride. It’s a very long but it’s worth it and i hope you guys enjoy it and i'm sure you will. It’s a Phenomenal game. It can be overwhelming at first and the world is HUGE with many stuff to do so just take your time and don’t be afraid to roam the world and many of us actually enjoy wandering around and don’t do the main story for a while so yeah, the world is huge and just take your time with the game and get used to the gameplay and stuff. So excited you guys are playing this game! You absolutely should take your time and explore, there are soo many details, mysteries to find etc. apart from the main story, which is also just awesome- take your time with it, there are lots of fun side missions to do, things to collect and places to discover! Keeping your honor high will also fit the story much better, though I know it is fun to shoot first and ask questions later 😆 This game is one of my absolute faves, I've played it 3 times now and there were some things I discovered on my thrid playthorugh for the first time 😊
