Two co-dependent high school seniors are forced to deal with separation anxiety after their plan to stage a booze-soaked party goes awry. - Розваги
“Why in the fuck would it be between that and Muhammad?!?” 😂😂😂
Best line I've ever heard 🤣🤣🤣
“Muhammad is the most common name on earth why don’t you read a FUCKING book for once?!”
Who are you Seal?
The best line was Bill Hader as the cop calling Seth "Waylon Jennings" during his arrest due to the shirt he was wearing. 😂
His girlfriend reaction to meeting fogel and Mclovin was soooooooo funny I believe it's the best movie reaction ever lol
The rewatch value on this movie is unbeatable 😂
Nah. Mannequin 2 is the most rewatchable movie ever.
Comedies from 1995-2012 were the absolute gold standard on rewatch value
Even the rewatch is rewatchable haha think I've watched this about as much as Jurassic Park, which I've watched probably 1k times at the least
@@47imagine Lol troll
i watch this movie probably every year with my father and my brother, still laugh almost just as hard as the first watch. great movie
Just a few days ago I saw an interview with the actor who played McLovin. He's in his 30s now and to this day, everyone still calls him McLovin in real life. He said when he meets people for the first time, he'll tell them to call him Chris, and they say, "Can we just call you McLovin instead?" He's fine with it. He said he's glad he was part of a movie that had such an impact on people that they still think about it more than a decade later.
I mean this is the movie that launched his successful career
Still, to me he is The Crimson Mist.
He's precisely 34 years old.
Like Jim & Dwight from The Office. They’ll just always be Jim & Dwight
What's even funnier is Johan Hill did not want him to be in the movie. Because Chris Mintz just shut down jonah comedy Chris's timing was hilarious. This would frustrate jonah so bad. That the directors and producers loved it. Michael Cera talked about this in a interview.
They started laughing right when the movie started, probably the best reaction ever
Fo'sho!
Omg get a life this is fake news jus rollers wasting theirs and your life
“First time watching” 🥸
Still the best superbad reaction I've seen
Tropic thunder is the funniest comedy ever
fun fact: the loud "WTF!!" reaction from Emma Stone was genuine, because Seth actually accidentally headbutted her. They left it in the film
That scene cracks me up every single time lol its so genuine.
Nnnno it wasn't, absolutely not. There is no resistance from Jonah Hill's head that would come from the impact. Use your eyes/logic//cite your sources/stop spreading lies.
ur braindead LMAOOOO@@ThatSamoanGuy
u have brain damage clearly@@ThatSamoanGuy
Evan/Michael Cera was not in Zombie Land lol
tbf , both actors are practically the same and play the same characters
Yeah, most people mistake him with Jesse Eisenburg 😂
He was shut up
I know so many people who always confuse Michael Cera and Jesse Eisenberg as well, I adore them both lol
@@deadsetondreams1988 I guess if you wear glasses or you think all white people look alike then you might confuse them, 🙄.
Seth Rogan and his highschool friend started writing this while they were in high school and it took a long time for them to finally get the story right then it finally came to fruition years down the road. Jonah hill plays Seth Rogan and Michael Cera plays his friend and some of these scenes were moments from their actual high school experience
I just literally said the same thing and then I thought I should see if anybody else said it and I see you did👍
@@jamesrein648 I commented and then realized someone else had said the same thing 😂😂
@@elisnideryou were like the fifth comment down and then the further I scroll down I had seen like four or five more people who had said the same thing😂
An unofficial sequel is 50/50 which is based on Seth Rogens other friend's story.
@@IDiggPattyMayonnaise really that's the one with Joseph Gordon-Levitt right?
Forgetting Sarah Marshall should be the next comedy you two should watch. That's another hilarious movie! I saw that and Superbad both in theaters back in the day and each time I walked out of the theater with a headache because I was laughing so hard throughout the movies. They're both two of my favorite comedies.
yes!! Forgetting Sarah Marshall is SO underrated
This right here!
Don't forget Get Him To The Greek!!
Omg Forgetting Sarah Marshall is my fave rom com it is HILARIOUS and really sweet.
I watched this in high school and it was and still is funny as hell but the last mall scene is so bitter sweet now as you're at that part of your life where you won't be seeing your friends as much anymore as you all go your separate ways and you remember all the fun you had in school together.
It’s so weird watching someone watch this for the first time in 2024. 😂 I was 18 years old (fresh out of high school) when this movie came out and it’s one of the most nostalgic pieces of art in my life.
Same lol
I was teenager 14 15 I so relatable even in Europe so is amazing that carried that long 😂😂🎉
Movie was written by Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg who are long time friends and is based loosely on their life. Jonah Hill plays Seth and Michael Cera plays Evan. MClovin is also based on one of their friends. The real Mc'Lovin is in the movie as well.
I never knew this, who is he?!?
He doesnt have any lines. He is one of the dudes hanging out by a car where Seth gets the laundry alcohol I think
They talk about it in the commentary
@@carlalussini
2000’s comedy movies are undefeated.
Sometimes in comedies you can see a joke or scene coming a mile away. I honestly feel like this movie and Pineapple Express I had no idea what was going to happen next.
McLovin is my favorite character of all time. even above Captain America
THIS MOVIE IS GOATED. I REMEMBER WATCHING AT THEATRES AND PLACE WAS LOUD AF PPL LAUGHING
Shoshana is me cracking up everytime mclovin pops out on screen
'hes's the fastest kid alive....'
im dyiiingg xD this movie is too funny
I love how you guys were struggling to stop laughing 😂. Genuinely one of the funniest, and best comedies ever
“Better put that bang on other eye”😂😂😂❤
Watching this in the theater was so memorable 😂 the whole theater laughed the entire time to the point where your stomach would hurt 😂
Dude got it right away but I love his girls face once she realized my Seth had blood on his leg. Priceless 😂😂😂
It was filmed in CA. The high school is el segundo in LA
Breaking Bad?
Jesse, We need to *cook*
@@unknownchristian341 wrong word. I always get it messed up lol
Ok
I watched this movie for the first time some days ago. Best day I've had so far in 2024 😂.
I'm from Guatemala and here it's not that difficult to buy alcohol regardless of your age, basically small businesses in any neighborhood but it's the lowest quality you can imagine. The best quality you can only find it in places that follow the law like gas stations.
The first time I bought alcohol with a friend we said "our dad" sent us to purchase it for him, nobody believed us but they didn't care.
It's the same where I come from...in certain neighborhood's anyhow. Essentially if you're above three feet tall they'll sell you booze.
I saw this movie when I was in like middle/high school and it took me until like 5 years later to realize the main characters are named/based off of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg 😂
Jonah hill had to constantly shave to keep himself looking baby smooth/younger for the role. The part with McLovin gettin it on at the party had to be done a very specific way because he actually was under 18, his parents had to be there for the scene and there couldn't be like any movement I think. And the period pants dance was a real story thing that happened according to Seth Rogen.
About the scar on Jonas arm.
Car crash. The car flipped over, skidded along the road and dragged Hill's arm with it. Hill woke up in the hospital, and he heard two doctors discussing whether or not to amputate his arm. At the same time, he saw his dad and ailing mom crying. “I said to myself, 'I'll never let them down ever again"
I saw this movie when it premiered in theaters stoned with a few friends and we laughed non-stop through the entire movie. A perfect teen comedy film for sure!
Y’all gotta do Pineapple Express, This is the End, and The Interview
Superbad is legit a iconic teen movie.
love the reaction guys 🙏🏽this is one of my favorite movies
Best reaction ever to this movie, thanks for the laughs! 😂
I actually love how they both don’t know much about movies. They are 100% genuine
So glad you loved this 😂😂😂 sore faces and tears down the faces is the standard 👏🏽
McLovin is my fav character ever 😂❤
you cute and oh yeah mclovin is hilarious.
Love your content guys!! Big greetings from Austria 🇦🇹
This is one of the best reactions I've ever seen, and I think people agree cause it reminds us of one time giggling and laughing with our friends about dumb childish jokes. There's nothing better.
Really enjoyed this and subscribed, thanks you guys.
21and over,also a legendary film.
Boy, Shoshana you're REALLY laughing hard at this! always contagious, laughter is!!!
16:10 “and that’s the SNL guy”
That’s Bill Hader and it would be greatly appreciated by everyone who watches you to see you react to “Barry” a TV show starring him.
It’s really good and I’m not just saying that. Everyone who’s watched “Barry” agrees it’s good. Please of course 🙏
My middle school had a "dirt" track. What I mean by that is it was a track that was eventually made from all the running, basically a trail. We never had an actual track.
This movie was frickin' AWESOME!!!! Jonah Hill and Michael Cera did a FANTASTIC job playing Seth and Evan!! And not to mention Seth Rogen and Bill Hader as Officer Michaels and Officer Slater, man they were hilarious!!
so funny. there's actually a table read for this which is really funny as well
I was 17 when this came out and its still the funniest movie I've ever seen in theaters. McLovin is legendary.
I love these comedy reactions. It's a lot of fun to watch along with you and shout out to your editing for catching most of the funny moments. They don't make comedies like this anymore
Such a solid and funny movie and then that ending just... I tear up every time. Basically flawless
This is the version with the deleted scenes i have never seen this!amazing vid
This movie is one of the best comedies ever. It's up there with The Hangover, Anchorman, and Dumb and Dumber. I highly recommend all 4 of these!
Y’all’s reaction to this is awesome
I was going into my senior year in 2007 when this came out and there is not better movie to depict the times than this. Haven’t seen this in awhile but it’s still as funny as ever 😂
Yall are adorable! lol great reaction!
You guys are so genuine and had the best reaction to this movie. I watched it twice :))
I love your reactions guys 🙂
love when you guys watch comedies!! by far me fav genre
For our age group this will probably be the best comedy of all time. I grew up pretty close to where Seth lives and am a bit younger but this movie brings me back to those days, its so similar to our life at that time and it came out right when we were the age of the characters. I loved your laughs and how you reacted to different parts. Was a lot of fun to see someone watch this for the first time!
You need to watch Role Models next for more of McLovin!
this is such a classic man one of my favourite movies ever
This vid was so funny even though ive seen this movie like a hundred times, your laughs are so contagious
Jonah Hill was already like 23-24 when they filmed this.
Great reaction to an amazing film! Thanks 👍🏽
"Ahhhhh, blue guy!" 🤣
I enjoyed watching you guys reacting to this. Superbad is a classic, hilarious movie. Not sure if you guys have watched the American Pie movies but those are pretty funny teen type of movies as well
I was.a.teenager in the 80's. This was my life. lol
85 grad. I swear we.had nights like this all thru high school.
Wish i could go back
This movie is HILARIOUS!!! 😂
has to be said, both of you have amazing smiles. :)
one of my favorite movies this movie had me cryinggg
You guys would love This is the End. It’s hilarious 😂
Not a teen movie, but ‘When Harry Met Sally’ is a Hilarious Rom-Com, that guys will love too.
Another gem, more like Superbad is ‘There’s Something About Mary’
Love ‘Trading Places’, ‘Coming to America’, ‘Boomerang’, Rush Hour Trilogy.
Jonah Hill was wearing a Richard Pryor shirt-so should see ‘Which Way Is up’, ‘Stir Crazy’
Michael Cera is not the guy from Zombieland, but he does run track in the movie Juno.
This was my ABSOLUTE favorite movie from like the age of like 13-19, and even currently as someone rapidly approaching the age of 30 currently... it's still in the top 5 for me as far as the comedy genre goes (The Other Guys, Pineapple Express, Walk Hard/Dewey Cox and Paul are my other four in no order with Knocked Up, Role Models, Shaun of the Dead, The 40 Year Old Virgin, World's End, and maybe The Girl Next Door....if you count it as a true comedy as opposed to a rom-com....as my honorable mentions)
This movie has just SO SO many iconic and quotable lines and moments, plus the absolute legend that is McLovin grouped with Bill Hader and Seth Rogen. Not a single minute goes by with them on screen without a laugh or atleast a grin.
"Gangstas, wassup guys?" Is still my go-to when greeting my posse of friends.
Plus an ending that has no business being as emotional, sentimental, and impactful as it is. Just ugh.
As far as teen comedies go, this film is **PERFECTION**. It is simply **THE** standard for any teen comedy that followed it.
***BTW*** y'all should definitely react to Paul, it's my number 1 comedy and just a top 5 film for me period, regardless of genre.
I feel like this film really captures how how we talked back in high school.
My school had a gravel track. Also from like December to about March during the afternoons a whole bunch of Geese would flock to our fields and during gym class and after school sports there was Goose shit everywhere.
Love and peace you two.
MySpace at its peak was great!
I cracked up so much watching this the first time😂😂😂 so glad yous watched this 😂😂😂😂
I love this classic movie! Never gets old.
haha love this movie so much dude its the hardest ive laughed since this is the end 😂 shit had me crying lol i came up right when myspace ended so i was their peak of facebook and man it was crazy tumblr too
This movie came out when I was in high school. It still holds up as one of the funniest comedies I have ever seen. I feel like comedy peaked in that time and has almost been none existant since sadly.
I don’t hunk I’ve ever seen you two laugh this much!
loved it!
When they say he looks like Pinocchio.. I believe they mean he looks like Geppetto. It was Geppetto the one who made Pinocchio who wore that brown vest, not Pinochio..
My track at my old high school before we consolidated was INSANE. It was a dirt track but I remember we spent a whole practice going through it after a kid sprained his ankle....on a rock the size of a softball buried in the track. The whole thing had rocks EVERYWHERE
I've literally put cigarettes and cigars out in gasoline and they just go right out, it's not like the movies lol we tried to get the gas to light with cigarettes many times and it never worked, the gas just puts the cigarettes/cigars out as soon as it touches it.
This movie goes great with Knocked Up, which was released the same year and features plenty of the same familiar faces. They are both gosh darn funny, and deal with different vital growth fazes into maturity.
Now you guys need to watch Booksmart - it's the girls counterpart of Superbad. Funny as fuck.
Insanely underrated. Too many people don't even know Booksmart exists.
FWIW: Any alcohol under 40% won't light on fire, so the 4% beer (96% water) he stole from the basement fridge definitely wouldn't light on fire when spilt on the road. In addition, it's the vapor not the liquid that lights, that's why it's still possible to drink it after it's lit.
I was 16 when this came out
Remember sneaking into the theatre to watch this lol
Another High school had a cinder track which is kind of a dirt track. Had to change my track spikes from 1/4” to 3/4” length for that one.
Oh my god, I couldn't stop laughing 😭🤣
Best reaction!
Ive screwed up. Ive watched so many of your videos and i don't know how i never subscribed. I just subscribed today. I love your videos
top tier reaction
I know this movie word for word! This movie was a time for me!
Best reaction of this movie yet!
Great Reaction guys! Here's more Jonah hill movies you should watch - 1. Wolf of wall street, 2. Moneyball, 3. War Dogs, 4. Mid 90's (Jonah hill's directorial debut.)
34:37 - Body Cams don’t record your entire shift 😂, you press a button to start recording at the beginning of an interaction and a button to stop at the end.
I was 17 when this came out and even though i live on a different continent i could relate to much to that senior / teen mentality lol. We were doing the exact same things. Such a funny movie.
We have woodwork in the U.K, but there’s not much safety. Nearly sanded my fingers off twice 😂😂
I erm almost got skewered by a piece of plastic from a pillar drill 😂
@@vkdeen7570 😂😂
You loved this so you should watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall or Shes Out of My League. Both films with the same type of humor from the same generation of comedy films
Such a great movie! I remember us as kids back in the 90's waiting for someone that looked cool to ask them to buy us some beer. There was always someone. Every peepz from a black business-man, to hard working white guy with the mullet, to even some older ladies used to do it for us. I guess they thought better that they drink some beers than use harder drugs, thinking back about it.
I've seen this movie a million times and never noticed the cinder track.
I had a dirt track at my Jr. High and High School. I had to run the jr. high track a few times during PE class, but I think I dodged all that in high school through sheer luck (and a bowling class that counted for PE credits, lol). That was way back in the 90s though, I dunno if they still have them.
I fucking loved ya'lls reactions. Like and Subbed..
