I have been a follower of these fashion influencers and noticed that trend as well. All are closet clear outs but promoting something from a certain brand.
Opportunist people. Propably tired of their style and their luxury items.

@@NikiSkyI think your story can be authentic and this still could be a legitimate question from that viewer. You explained your reasoning well while other influencers have not all been so blunt about having chased the next high. But the new high number of cleaning out of closets has been obvious, so I as a viewer am actually interested what you think of this wave, regardless of your own journey.

The best way to have a sustainable wardrobe is to make use of all you have until it falls apart. I also started to wash more by hand and dry laundry natural, everything lasts more, even if it's from a fast fashion brand. I declutter only when I am sure that it will not fit me anymore. My body changed a lot after the second child.

The 'new purchase' buzz is fun. Following trends is fun. Experiment. Enjoy fashion. Enjoy shopping. It doesnt have to be that deep... The issue isnt trends. If you allow yourself to be manipulated by marketing, thats on you and its to do with a deeper inner issue that that person has.
Stumbled across your videos and it’s so nice to see someone else that wants to make a change in their life and not put so much worth into material things. People should understand that we go through phases in our life and what someone is doing or not doing is not an attack on you and your lifestyle. Love this content!
You are SO right in this entire video! When we say we have nothing to wear it’s not that we don’t have clothes it’s just not our style or something I would wear because I was influenced by someone else 🤯.

Your current style likes follows todays trends; getting rid of timed trendy purchases makes sense, but it isnt revolutionary. Sounds like youre trying to pivot into minimalism and a capsule wardrobe which has been trending for years now.
i'm not pivoting into minimalism. i don't believe in labels. i'm simply being more mindful of the things i bring into my life and how they align with my true self

Are you decluttering for views, or are you decluttering because you realised just how incredible simple, slow, minimalist living actually is? Also, you can be a minimalist and still own expensive or colourful pieces and lots of something but very little or nothing in other areas. I own one shampoo but have lots of variety in my closet. I don't own any cushions but have 4 pillows on my bed. I don't own any decor but have 3 mirrors. Etc.
