  • In this video I show my students how to trim a basic thrown bowl on the Giffin Grip. I discuss proper foot placement and the rounded form a bowl should take.

      Not at all! The Giffen Grip is a really safe tool! I absolutely LOVE mine! It is so similar to using the lugs when holding- it isn't like you get your fingers caught in it or anything! And, the trim tool I use is nothing that can cut you! Remember your clay is just leatherhard and cuts with nearly no resistance!
