I was glad to hear you react to Sivert Høyem, he is a great singer. I can suggest one of his own songs which I like very much. The UA-cam title is: Sivert Høyem - Majesty (live at Acropolis).
Darling West is fantastic. They got a youtube channel called Friday or family Session's, with guest artist's and Sivert Høyem is one of them. They played in Nashville some weeks ago.
Great choice Bob! This was my first time hearing him in this setting and it sounded very good. I can tell he stayed mostly in his upper register here. I second the suggestions below to do Majesty and Call my name. Nobody loves you like I do is great too.
wOw! This was high praise indeed, comparing Sivert to David Draiman, that's a hard one to top. THank you, and have a great one from Arctic LoVe Islands, Norway o/
Please, please, please react to Kalandra. This Norwegian band, with singer Katrine Stenbekk, is fantastic, and reminds me a bit of Aurora. My favorite song from them is A Brave new World, based on a dystopian novel by English author Aldous Huxley, written in 1931: Kalandra - Brave New World (Live at Kulturkirken Jakob) They also have a cover of Helvegen (the song from Warduna with Aurora as guest vocalist): Wardruna - Helvegen (Kalandra cover) And this cover of Rockettothesky is one of the best harmonies I ever heard: Rockettothesky - Grizzly Man (Kalandra cover) And thank you so much for your great reactions and analysis!!
Please check out Hayde Bluegrass Orchestra cover of "Wayfaring Stranger". Theyre norwegians but sounds like they`re born and bred in the appalachian mountains. Cheers
Sivert is a national treasure. Unreal singer.
I loved this! His voice seemed almost polyphonic. Their whole rendition was so beautiful. Their harmonies were tremendous!
Yes! I totally agree with everything you said.
Search up Madrugada….where Sivert was lead vocal.
Will do, for sure. He's an incredible talent. Thanks.
You have listen to Sivert before. Madrugada "Call my Name" from Vesterålen prosject. (One year ago.)
@@bjrnrabben5827 My favorite song with Sivert is Majesty.

Sivert has such a unique voice!
He sure does! I just loved his voice. Really quite amazing.
@@ModernLifeForThe70sMind You should check out his old band Madrugada. Some great songs.👍👍

Three pleases in a row! How could I possibly say no to that. I've gone ahead and put it on my short list. You'll see it in the next 30 days. Thanks.
I love Kalandra and A Brave New World is one of their best songs.
