I already have ac in mine but I enjoy your watching your videos so much I watched the whole thing 😂, keep up the good work your editing style is perfect for these videos
Im super impressed with your patience and determination figuring out the issue after investing so much time installing the AC...ive been on the fence about installing an AC in my 94 eg for the last 5 years because i hadn't found any good youtube videos but after seeing this i think im finally gonna tackle this project. Thanks for all the great content!
Great job man! Adding this one aswell to my EG project Playlist. I will eventually need to get around to tackling the AC in my hatch. Thanks for breaking it down barney style. Simple yet thorough. Keep it up man. Goodspeed ✌🏽
U uploaded this videos 1 day ago😮, well funny enough I have the same honda civic and I was also installing the a/c and I was also worried not to waste money on re gasing the system only to waste it when something is not working😂. But with ur video I'll be prepared💯💯💯
@davidmotloung6315 Yeaahhh… i had the same thoughts, But i was just gambling that everything worked the first time. Obviously….. it didn’t.😅 Glad i could i help thooo!👍
So you have to use 92-94 ac parts minus evaporator from 2000 civic to make it work. We have a 94 hatch no ac and are going to put ac. But I think we have a eg with no ac from factory.
@jebe8839 yeahh you nailed it pretty much. The evaporator bolts right in, in place of either the old evap or in your case the housing that has no evaporator. Just keep in mind there are slightly different housings for evaporators out there. i couldnt figure out which civic models (year wise) or CRV models belonged where…so just keep in mind if you are going to buy a new evap sometimes it requires a specific housing BUT if you buy a housing WITH the evaporator everything should work just fine 👍
if you would have put direct power to the compressor and it doesnt turn on or trips the power prob (which i use for diag) then the compressor clutch is trash and shorted. i always try this first.
@MILLER9M Thanks, i appreciate the compliment lol but im not a mechanic.. 😅 i just Do this stuff for fun, (and cause shops are expensive😅) i would encourage you to do the same if you can, the car means a whole lot more to you when you do!👍

@@projectgoodspeed Any evap from 96-00 civic will bolt right into an eg?
@kennynguyen5128 yea! Basically just make sure the evap and the evap housing come from the same donor car.👍
the ohms specification should be 2.5 to 0.5 ohms.
will the ohms be off if it's hot outside?
@1776FreedomNow Thats a good question…😅 i have no idea about that. But my guess is no…lol
