Thank you, this seems to have fixed my problem! I didn't have the special socket so I cut the wires fed them through a 3/8 drive 12mm socket and turned with vise grips as I'm in the middle of nowhere Utah @10pm. Cleaned, then butt connected the wires back together and presto, I have heat and no smoke out the pipe! Thank you!!😊
Excellent video. I’m going to go do mine now. Looks like you have a KW. Same as mine. This was perfect for me because everything looks exactly the same and is in the exact same spot. Thanks !!!
Hello, I didn’t believe it was so fragile and have no right socket. My spark is broak down inside. Do you know where I can found out part to buy, termo king told almost 500$. My version is D2
You are an idiot. These things stop working when it's cold so you need to get them going even if you have to wait for replacement screens in the mail. Then you'll have them for next time.
This is how you produce a video. Step by step instructions with detailed commentary. Thanks you are the man 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Good job here,very well explained👍
Out of nowhere mine quit blowing heat but I noticed it was smoking so I guess that's my problem. I just don't have that slotted socket or pick.
That's a good way to fix it, thank you
What size is that socket?

If that air supply hole is plugged, will it give a fuel pump error?
It will smoke and won't fire up
What cleaner did you use please
Brake cleaner
Mine turns on but only throws cold air then turns off would that work ?
@@raymigonzalez4536 if the exhaust doesn't smoke it might be different problem, like fuel pump or glow plug is bad

Seems like for the cost of a new screen you could have done a more through job.

Wouldn’t of been able to say repaired without using parts in the description though
Thermo king sales that kit
Freightliner charge me $575 for this job done 😂
My heater was smoking
Mines smoking like a freight train out the exhaust outlet and blowing cold air.
