- Today I will show you how to blow out an underground water line. If you live in an area where the ground freezes, underground water lines to your garden, barn, lawn sprinkler etc. will need to have the water blown out of them to prevent them from freezing and splitting. So, unless they are buried below frost level this is a task that needs to be done before winter arrives. I'll show you how to save money and do the job yourself with the small compressor you may already have. I picked up a 7 gallon air tank to expand the volume of my 4.3 gallon compressor. Let's get started!

Thanks for sharing that! I watched your video on installing the pipe yesterday, and wondered about winterizing. Today YT had this one as a suggestion. Nice!
That is awesome! Thanks for watching.
This is so cool! Your homestead is amazing as are your videos. So much great information.
Glad you liked the video. I always have something I'm working on.
Nice video.....I am going to put the same system out to my garden. Thank you!
It sure is nice having the water at the garden without lugging hose. Thanks for watching Bob!
Brilliant. Gonna try to clear an electrical doing this
I've used this method for two years now and it's worked out great.
A great video that is short and too the point. What do you think about adding RV antifreeze? Do you think it would add anything? Also, thanks for the link to the water pipe adaptor!
Thank you.. Maybe if you thought you weren't getting all the water out but I have done this way for two winters and I haven't had any problems yet. I always charge the hose in the spring and then shut if off to see if it holds pressure..
Great job 👏
Thank you! 😃
Old faithful blows again.
It was fine this spring so a few geysers did the trick. 👍
Great content
Thank you.
I love the underground waterline installation video. Do you have a link for that compressor adapter? Thank you so much.
Yes I do. I put a link to the adaptor in the description of the video. You will see it at the bottom of the description here. ua-cam.com/video/ynLU8R59DwY/v-deo.html Thanks for watching!
What if you had 1200 ft of 1" line?
You may need more air volume for that job.
