This is a continuation of the Hidden Valley encounter tile build. Watch me scratch build an encounter tile for my Dungeons and Dragons tabletop game! I use foam, craft paint, hot glue, and flocking to make this scatter terrain.

I really like the modular tiles. The best hobby investmenf I've made so far was spending an afternoon making 3"*3" foam tiles with dungeon floors painted on them. Indispensable. Simple terrain goes a long ways.

You have that right! I love to build out dungeons as my players explore, so those small corridor pieces come in handy.

Fantastic, might i ask what sort of hard foam you use and what the little hot wire cutter is called?

I use Owens-Corning XPS insulation foam. In the US it's the pink stuff. I have 1/2", 1", and 2". The hot wire cutter is one from Woodland Scenics. I would like to get one with the bendable wire.
