More Hillside Catwalk! RPG Terrain Scratch Build for Miniatures Gaming: The Hidden Valley Part 9

- The catwalk makes a turn on the last tile of the third row of the Hidden Valley! The next row of tiles will go even higher! This is a continuation of the Hidden Valley encounter tile build. Watch me scratch build an encounter tile for my Dungeons and Dragons tabletop game! I use foam, craft paint, hot glue, and flocking to make this scatter terrain.

No rust monsters were harmed in the making of this wash. Another great build, as always.
I love the original rust monster with the propeller tail! Thanks for watching!
I cant wait to see all the tiles at once!! This hidden valley set is really coming along nicely. Would be a joy to play on!
Thank you! I think I might write a one shot adventure for this set. I definitely need to build a wooden tray with sides to keep it together.
6:15 What a thing of beauty. Thank you again for your great work.
Thank you! It is getting big! Another four tiles to go then maybe some scatter tress?
@@ravenstead Sounds good 😊
Another incredible addition to the tiles 😊
I really am enjoying this whole series ❤😊❤
I so happy you like it! Thank you for watching! Four more tiles and the valley will be complete.
Fantastic as always! Do you spray your pieces down with any type of sealant? Matte varnish, or anything like that? Just to prevent the flocking from falling off over time. 👌
Yes! I give them a good coat for that very reason. I use Minwax matte polyurethane.
Another great piece. This certainly ties the valley together.
I'm a little intimidated by the last four tiles. It's going to be a lot of elevation!
Thank you for another great build. I read that you were thinking of scatter terrain as a possible follow up. I'd like to second that idea. I would also like to see all the pieces together and in use with minis; it would provide a nice view of the whole scale "in-game".
Thank you for watching! I would love to setup a few scenes for scale!
Great world building. I would love to just dive into that valley and explore.
You would be welcome, just watch out for the bugbears!
Beautiful series. Thanks!!!
Thank you so much for watching!
Simple, effective, really nice! Also, i did spot a second rotten plank in there! Pulling a sneaky on us there, I see! :)
Where there is one..
Another masterpiece! Creative and perfect job as usual...
Thank you! I think we need a wheelbarrow at some point. I've been wanting to do a cart, wagon, wheelbarrow build at some point. I used to work at the wheelwright shop at Colonial Williamsburg so I have a few cool designs.
@@ravenstead Already waiting for that!👍👍
Amazing build , love the elevation
Going up! The next row is going to be a real challenge!
Great job. Thanks.
Thank you for watching! I really appreciate the support!
it groweth!
It doth!
Thanks for the upload. Enjoying the content. It's gonna look great when it's all put together. Thoughts on your next project?
I will probably build some scatter terrain for the valley, maybe trees and a few clumps of bushes.
What the hell are we all gonna do if you DO cut yourself one day??
Haha! I feel a little silly saying that but I can hardly stand watching someone use a knife. I don't want anyone to be anxious! If I did cut myself I wouldn't show it or tell anyone... My little secret.
