Good review and always great to see and 'hear' the process that is gone through to come up with the perfect plug!
Colourful plugs for sure 👍👍👍👊
Great review - can you comment on the difference in sound attenuation between the solid plugs and the sound filtered plugs?
In particular, if training with a squad / social training, would you still need to / want to remove the sound filtered plugs to hear clearly?
You didn’t comment on the cost. I looked into custom swim plugs a while ago but they were so expensive I could afford to keep losing cheapie earplugs every swim and still not be out of pocket. I do worry about littering though… more plastic in the ocean/lake
Hi June, sorry about that, the cost was right at the end. I'll add it to the description as well. The custom fitting was £40 and the ear plugs £100.
👍
How much were the plugs
Hi Peter, costs are listed in the description.
Good
I like your goggles! What is the brand and where did you get it?
Arena Nemisis
@@COLINHILLSWIMS I hope it’s available here in the U.S.A.
Do the solid silicone ones keep 100% of the water out, or does some water still get past them??
For me, yes they do.
@@COLINHILLSWIMS oh man 😭😭😭😭I never learned how to swim because I kept having bad ear infections and kept having to get tubes put in my ears. This may be my chance to learn!! I'm 28 now 😭😭
How much did the appointment at the audiologist cost? I am getting swimmer ear every month and I need to find a pair that doesn’t let a percent of water in. Do you think these can help me?
Hi Tedward, the prices are in the description. It was around £50 for the mould.
