I'm finding apricots and sage on the nose, oddly enough, followed by some brown sugar and then marzipan. On the tongue I'm getting wet tobacco and old leather, dusty apple trees and cream poured over oatmeal. Doesn't linger too much, but there's a nice warmth and hints of hazelnut, brazil nut and walnut. A very nice way to finish the year.
Note: The 2022 Victoria Whisky Festival was indeed, and unfortunately, cancelled.
