Today, Addison and I have compiled a list of 10 of the most underrated items in Pokémon Draft League (singles).
Held items have been an integral part of competitive Pokémon battles since their introduction in Generation 2.
In a format like the Pokemon Draft League where it’s all about counter teaming and where the element of surprise is a very valuable strategy, there are plenty more items that can be of use and really catch your opponent off guard.

Huge fans of Clear Amulet and Custap Berry, helped saved a few matches for me.
Another niche item that became a personal favorite of mine is Absorb Bulb, if you setup and agility on a possible flip turn such as a lead palafin MU, you can put your opponent in a very tricky position
Absorb Bulb would be so fire if it gave you a one time immunity to water moves
Can confirm, have used adrenaline orb with a special cobalion to counter landoT before.
But custap power is strong right now!!

I like how the last clip showed the power of harvest custap with unlimited priority.

The mental herb is an excellent shout out, I've used it a tiny bit but I absolutely agree we've all barely scratched the surface with it. Also hey there's some of me in there nice!
I've seen it used in incredible ways recently and it looked so good!
Would be cool to also see a video on underrated moves in draft league. One move i've finally realized the full power of is healing wish. Being able to have a healing wish stored for a late game piece can be crucial. Definitely need to keep this video saved somewhere for future battle prep!

Hear me out: we need 2 more choice items, one for each defense stat. Same as the existing 3 in every other way. Personally I’d go with choice hat for defense and choice ring for Sp. defense respectively.
That or we need a physical AV

I wish there's an ability that recycle terrain seeds, preferably also set up the terrain as well.
That might be a bit too OP
Clear Amulet is an ability in item form and I like to think about what other abilities could be turned into items
For example Air Balloon but only for types that already have immunity abilities (Fire, Water, Grass, and Electric)
I could see some people want Intimidate to become an item because it’s the best competitive ability, but let’s be honest, we don’t want more Incineroars
Yeah would be cool to see more abilities coming as an item but maybe not Intimidate 😂
@@jricky8 A humorous item would be "Novice Belt" where super-effective attacks from the wearer are turned into "Effective" attacks.
use trick onto an opponent pokemon and Shedinja becomes immune to that pokemon.
Eject Button is not only great on weather setters but also terrain setters. Seed Sower Arboliva is a great canidate, when paired with any Unburden sweeper.

WP is easily my favorite underrated item in Draft, I like putting it on more frale Mons sometimes to catch my opponents off guard

How would multiple encore users beat mental herb you can only encore the terapagos once since it can hit everything for neutral unless they are greedy but if they are why not just use the same encore user.
Its not about Encoring the Terapagos multiple times. Its more about having mulitple options to do that job. So you have different options.
Its like having multiple stealth rockers.

No one ever talks about Room Service.
Trick Room kinda sucks in singles. Now if we had an item that extended Trick Room turns that would be sick!
I use custap to stop revenge killers from killing my sweepers
That can also work as a good way to use Custap

No it does not cause its not lowering your stats
