@@CruuushaL poor people, like jokes aside. These broke people who actually want to buy an expensive car so badly that they are willing to spend all their savings on a car thats halfway dead already
Fast forward a year or so and they go for $50k! Crazy. You got a hell of a deal! Hopefully in a few months they come down with the rate hikes and the FED slowing down the economy. I want one, but I ain’t paying close to 50 and taking the hit when things cool down.
Just want a second on this. I’m planning on purchasing an 2018 m4 with 48k miles for $46k. It has the competition package on it. Do you think that is way overpriced or is that a decent deal
Exactly. Good time to sell but not to buy. Thinking of selling my E92 335 but I'd have to wait a while for the market to cool down in order to get a replacement vehicle. Ideally an M4 but not at these prices.
When you save yourself over $46,000 from depreciation of a BMW, You are my role model haha. I will never buy a brand new sports car. Now I am committed to getting a good deal just as you XD
Finding them below $40K currently is tough. That is a crazy deal considering the millage. At best that would have been a $39K dealer car with zero willingness to move on price. How did you find the listing? Autotrader is just dumb expensive anymore.
Be careful make sure you get warranty on 650i because they have known injector problems and problems with s63 engine. There’s actually a lawsuit filed on this particular car and problem. I was looking at getting M6 or 650 at the end of this month but this is some of the issues I read up on. From what I hear the 640 is better because BMW is better with their inline 6 engines than V8- turbo. Many problems with v8 engines.
Get the 640i , trust me the gas I save compared to the the 650xi will save you some money. As well you will save some money over maintenance. The 640xi has enough power and has all the same whistles and bells like the 650xi .But if you want to reach 650xi Horse power numbers you will need a new air intake, intercooler and tune, which will bring the 640xi to almost the same numbers as the 650xi. However you will never be able to get the sound produced from the n63 found in the 650xi.
Gas mileage is surprisingly good with BMW’s, they underrate MPG’s just like they underrate HP haha. People always say if you care about mileage you can’t afford it but that’s garbage. You still have to live with it if you’re daily driving or so efficiency is a nice bonus. Great review.
I rented a car and got a 2017 bmw 5 series for a month, was able to doordash in it no problem. Good considering i live 40 miles away from where i doordash.
It’s a great deal, until something breaks. I picked one up an m4 with carbon fiber splitter, rockers, spoiler, and diffuser. Fully specd as well with warranty for maintenance, tires/brakes,dent which came out to $65k
The m4 is one of the most reliable BMWs so far granted they’re fairly new but the maintenance seems minimal and the only severe issue is the crank hub.
So, im not trying to be a hater cause it's a beautiful car and i like some BMWs....but he's being a bit disingenuous with his details. Ima make a few guesses to clarify: the car is probably a 2015 or 2014 MY; he probably bought the car "cash" from an individual thus the low price; the warranty is probably for an extended period (say to 75k or 100k) and he has 36k to go; the car DOESN'T have all options- the surround view/corner camera and ceramic brake pkg is missing. I know cause a dude in my neighborhood has one with most options. Also, the insurance is probably combined with a house/home policy OR its part of a policy with an older driver/ additional cars. For example, my 30 yr old brother has a 2019 S5 SB and its only 180/monthly full coverage. His friends thinks he has a great deal..BUT the car is part of his moms policy and he is an additional driver.😎. Just saying....
I'm in the market for one right now, I stay out in la. And for one like this with the options and everything, miles and all. It's at least like 45k 🤦♂️
