Bought a 335i e90 for my bday last novermber and so far I have spent about 5,000 in maintence. Tbh it's the little things that add up like the window motor goes out ect, but its so worth it. But THANK GOD the bmw 635csi is getting love!
No diesel cars, huh? Man. Don't underestimate the E60's M57 Motor. The 535d runs 272/286hp STOCK and can be tuned to 380-480 EASILY. Especially for you American guys - since you don't have any emission rules.
Those x5 e70 with the diesel engine make power. Once you delete the emissions system and do a downpipe and tuned throw on a exhaust it’s makes decent power and the torque is crazy close to 400 on the torque
The e39 is one of my favourite BMWs of all time. I love it to bits, especially the station wagon, and it is imo very underrated. It also looks very aggressive in comparison to the e46, which is a bit more rounded and sleek. Do not buy them for under 3k tho lol, here in Europe they're even hard to find under 3k cus everyone just scraps their cars at that point. If you want a e36 for cheap look for one somewhere between 3-7k. (disclaimer: I am not an expert, just a 16yo licenceless fanboy lol)
I had the chance to own an E31 back when I was freshly licensed. Went on vacation to a family gathering in vegas and my older cousin had one to sell 😂 my dad said no tho lmaoo. I hella would've been a beemer head if I did. Turned into a Toyota head instead 😂 I love me a Lexus, Scion or Toyota
