I just bought my SLk 55 2006 Silver at a unbelievable price he was a old chap from the UK, didn’t want anything that was value. Bought mine for £9,500 with only 61k miles!! Has no scratches or scruffs. Incredible machine it will only go up in price in near future as these are becoming modern classics & rarer to find. I’m keeping mine forever
I have owned 2 slk’s. One was a 350 V6 and the other was AMG 55. I will be purchasing soon hopefully this year. A 2007 or better. No matter the year they are fabulous cars and regrett selling my AMG.
I am SLK 55 AMG owner. I bought OEM oil filter (official Mercedes Benz Dealership) and on a box there is information that it was manufactured by MANN Filters.
I like Scotty and he's right Mercedes are expensive to maintain, I have this exact car in silver with several Kleeman upgrades including carbon fiber interior, scissor doors and exhaust, I have done a lot of work to it since I bought it, I'm sitting here waiting on UPS to deliver my rotors and pads for brakes all around. I did my own custom fog and DLR upgrade and there's no other SLK55 like it. I wouldn't trade my weekend cruiser for four Toyotas and this is why opinions are just opinions. There's nothing like riding around on a hot summer evening with the top down in a 360 Hp street legal go-kart with luxury options.

Scotty doesn't know anything about cars. I can't think of any car he's said is good other than a Toyota or lexus, which is ridiculous.
