The first LadyBird Masters Of The Universe audio cassette I listened too back in the day was called Masters Of The Universe Wings Of Doom. The pictures and illustrations music and the stories that these old school audiobooks and cassettes were just so well put together educational and entertaining. What I found truly memorable about this take on Masters Of The Universe was that if any member of Skeletor's evil band dared to lay a hand on He-Man's Sword Of Power the sword would burn like fire in their hands forcing them to drop the fabled weapon to the ground. The Iron Master was also quite an interesting idea and as well as a story. Skeletor's minion Beastman failed to take the Sword Of Power so Skeletor decides to try something else. By sending a giant robot after He-Man as it would have a far better chance of been able to grab the Sword Of Power without feeling any pain. Fun story! Skeletor will stop at nothing to find a way to defeat He Man and unlock the power within castle grayskull. Even if he needs to build a giant robot to do so!

Skeletor is certainly never afraid to try any devious scheme however underhanded in his never ending war and efforts to defeat He-Man and the forces of Grayskull. He-Man meant alot to me growing up as the first time I watched an episode of the Filmation series on VHS back in the day it was a season 2 episode. And the name of the very first He-Man show I watched was called The Cat And The Spider. And when Adam transformed into He-Man jumped down into a temple trap to protect the royal archologest from been killed by walls that were threatening to crush Malkfa to death that was one of many powerful core additional inspirations amoung many more that made me want to be a good person as well and look out for the ones who need it most or the ones I cared about as much as possible. As you enjoyed Masters Of The Universe The Iron Master so much I do have many other old school audiobooks and reviews on many things you and many others are very welcome to watch as many times as you wish and like. PS when I was a kid I got this particular birthday cake for one birthday eons ago around say the 1980s. Anyway I'm not sure where this cake came from or how it was affordable at all at the time. The next thing I knew I was looking in wonder and genuine application at this thoughtful cake eons ago in front of my parents who were watching the cake just as I was. On the cake was an image and illustration of He-Man taken directly from the Ladybird book Masters Of The Universe The Iron Master. The image of He-Man on that very cake was of He-Man astride his dear friend Battle Cat while hanging onto reins with one hand and the Sword Of Power in the other. So all in all that was truly a wonderful experience and a true pleasure to be introduced to this benevolent and great force for good in this way. There is a new edition of the Filmation He-Man series on DVD that contains both animated movies as well plus a definitive history on He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe. The bumper Ladybird set of He-Man stories complete with matching book was one of the most demanding projects I have worked on yet I know it was something I had to finish because when I get my teeth into a project where my UA-cam Channel is concerned I don't stop until it is finished.
