The Elite Gamer has come a long way it must be said, but I think there are a few people that deserve my thanks for all their effort. My friends Kerion who taught me in the art of video editing. Will who was kind enough to help me out with one of my game reviews. And last, but not least my loyal cameraman Ben. Thank you for everything guys.

Thank you very kindly @@robnewman6101. Have a great Christmas sir.
What year?
What year?
0:05, I Recognise that theme at the start of the story, That's the Learn with Sooty VHS Theme!
The last time I heard that story was about 35 years ago 😂
I just subscribed to you bc of your interesting username and Care Bears books
Hi@@teriyakiravioli . Thank you very much for the update. And welcome to the channel.

This was awesome.
Wow, memories!
I had this tape as a kid. I also had The Cabinet of Calamari. Love the opening music too. That guitar goes hard!
Hi@@nerdicwarrior. Yeah the opening and ending music was really something. Granted it was the actual ghostbusters theme song but we still hear the actors voicing the characters in the stories say Ghostbusters before the narrator of the cassette lists of the remaining ones in the series. There's a few Real Ghostbusters stories I've seen book wise that I've never ever seen a matching audio cassette to accompany remaining books. Either the company who made this book and tape series back in the day only had a few books that came with matching audio cassettes or the other books in the series maybe had additional audio cassettes yet could be alot harder to find. Thanks again and welcome to the channel.
Nice video!! Now i have a question? I saw your one of your Care Bears book and was wounding do you know how many there are total and if you had a copy of all of them?
RIP Brian Trueman (1932-2024).
Hi! Thank you so much for posting this! It was my favorite book to read as kid and I've been looking for it for year but couldn't find any where that sold them (I'm from New Zealand) Please keep posting the ladybird books! ❤❤
Hi@@yasminmanuel2863. Thanks for the fantastic feedback. I really appreciate this. I do have a few more Ladybird stories to upload as and when I can but I have to order them in as and when I find them test them to make sure their in working order then get help from a friend of mine to put them on USB stick and then transfer the complete story with matching book and tape to UA-cam. So yeah there's alot that goes into these videos certainly but as the old saying goes the best things take time. Thanks again have a great day and welcome to the channel.
Thanks so much for this.
Your very welcome @@chadgross581. Have a fantastic day and year and welcome to the channel.

I still have this tape in my parents roofspace.
They should bring these back again
I was fifteen when I read the book. I remember that I absolutely hated Noah Claypole.
Do you happen to have the two Dennis the Menace audio stories?
Hi@@minicle426. No I only have one of the Dennis The Menace audio stories. And the only one I have of that is called Dennis The Menace A Splashing Time. Thanks.
Great stuff !
Thank you, had no idea about this !
Your very welcome @@UnknownUserUU. There were only three audio cassette adventure stories by Tempo Talking Stories about Robin Of Sherwood and they were: Robin Of Sherwood Lord Of The Trees Robin Of Sherwood The Last Arrow and Robin Of Sherwood Herne's Son. In my honest opinion I think the biggest missed opportunity with that audio cassette set was in Tempo Talking Stories was that they never had a matching book to accompany the audio cassettes of Robin Of Sherwood so the viewer and listener could see what's happening with detailed illustrations based on the episodes these audio stories come from with writing in the book page for page that would have followed word for word what the narrator of the cassettes said if Tempo Talking Stories had thought to go that route. Thanks.
I never understood the title. There's four men in the team, so it should be The Four Musketeers.
I understand where your coming from @evencredeur7498. However I believe the title of the book The Three Musketeers was called The Three Musketeers because Athos Porthos and Aramis are full fledged Musketeers. Where D'artagnan was a cadet in this story not a Musketeer.
I was expecting the whole story, including Milady's scenes and execution.
I was expecting Jerry's voice to be high pitched.
I'm gonna be honest, here. I like it better when Tom and Jerry are mute.
I never understood with the rats. They had the men and dogs outnumbered, yet instead of fighting back they ran for their hides. The same happened on two animated films I saw, Heidi's Song and a Burbank version of Black Beauty, both have a scene with rats being all tough and aggressive when they have the enemy outnumbered, only to become a bunch of cowardly fraidy rats when an army arrives. It doesn't make any sense the rats don't fight back.
I think the implication is that the rats are Dracula or at least being controlled by him. And Dracula doesn’t want to risk him or his army getting beaten so he figured I’d be better for them to leave.
@@WoodenRailwayWonderland What about the rats in those animated films I mentioned?
I vaguely remember reading that book at school when I was a kid. This may teach kids not to answer the door to strangers at home whilst their parents are out or even busy. I am seeing this from Ireland 🇮🇪
Hello @@Omegajunior2658. Thank you very kindly for the comment and feedback. I couldn't agree more the more stories and key examples via audio cassette or book style that truly encourage children or kids not to open the door for any strangers that happen by the better. Thank you very much for your time and I hope you and everyone else in Ireland have a great day. Oh one more thing welcome to the channel.
Only problem is that I can only hear it from the left earbud.
I didn't even know Duckula had his own books.
They changed the characters' voices.
I remember reading about Lot No 249. Apparently the mummy never went in Smith's room in the original story.
When did this come out? It's got the best quality, and I can actually read the words! Not like on that green gemstone channel.
Hello @@evancredeur7498. Thank you very kindly for your great comments. I believe this one of many Ladybird Horror Stories came out around the 1980's. Ladybird Horror Stories ie Classics ranged in story form from Drackula and The Mummy right through to Frankenstein and The Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Ladybird also had another Horror style book and tape set called Ghostly Tales to round off their Ladybird Horror Classics. So its quite impressive what this book and tape company could really do when they put their minds to stories and the like. When I get a matching book to an audio cassette I make sure I test the cassette very thoroughly to ensure there are no issues at all if I can help it which would distract the viewer/ listener. I read the matching books from page to page to ensure their in lovely condition then if the books are of great quality and the audio cassette plays like a trooper with no issues at all I bring them down for a friend of mine to transfer both the bookscan and the essence of the audio cassette to a USB stick. I then pick up the book scan and audio from the story and edit the bookscan together with the audio from the cassette so people can both see and hear what's happening as the story goes on. Thanks again @evancredeur7498 and welcome to the channel.
@@DarthBrooks1985 Ladybird also changed this one. In the original story, 249 never entered Smith's room.
Its quite interesting @@evancredeur7498 the difference between the original story and the Ladybird take on it. I have a few more audiobooks to upload when I can vintage wise. I won't say what they are going to be as I don't want to spoil the surprise but I can say this much. Their audiobooks that I'm sure many people with enjoy again and again for all time.
@@DarthBrooks1985 I noticed you did Oliver Twist. I'm hoping you do a lot more of these record audiobooks.
Thank you@@evancredeur7498. I'd always wanted to upload the Ladybird Oliver Twist book and tape set as I had that Ladybird Oliver Twist cassette when I was very young. Yet one of the most memorable pages from that Oliver Twist book is the page where Bill is pointing a gun right at Nancy. And the image was so well illustrated and put together that we didn't even need to see every detail of Bill Sikes while he was pointing the gun at Nancy. Just the fright and fear on Nancy's face as she pleads to Bill on her knees. That was one of many images I'll never forget. I've also uploaded the Ladybird Master's Of The Universe stories too. I try to upload a bit of everything when I can so the fans viewers and listeners will all have alot of variety to keep them happy and guessing what the next episode on the channel will be.
Recently watched thundercats for the first time and I love the first two shows with third one im 50/50 on it. There is so much awesome media that is so underrated in this series <3. Even ordered some of the modern and classic comics to. Hope thundercats franchise comes back and comes back hitting hard and good :D.
Thanks for the feedback @xRocketzFighterx. I grew up too with Thundercats but unfortunately never got the chance to watch the complete show all the way through on DVD until many years later. That been said some of the earliest episodes I remember after the pilot Thundercats episode on VHS back in the day were the following episodes The Terror Of Hammerhand where in conjuction with Lion-O's first confrontation with Hammerhand himself Lion-O also had to fight a creepy tree monster to help free a unicorn. Then in the episode Mandora The Evil Chaser Lion-O and co end up getting caught by The Living Ooze. Maybe its me but I can't help but think the inspiration for The Living Ooze in Thundercats seems very similar to yet another slimy and ooze covered fiend called Crud who made his one time appearance in The New Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh episode: Cleaniness Is Next To Impossible. While I think of it I always found it a big missed opportunity indeed that not so much as once over the whole Thundercats show did we ever see what Mandora The Evil Chaser really looked like behind her future style mask. Considering the respect Mandora had developed towards Lion-O for not only helping to take responsibility for his actions and also helping and assisting Mandora in recapturing three inmates that Lion-O set free because he thought they were people in pain you'd think Mandora would have been able to trust Lion-O and also his fellow Thundercats without having to wear her mask 24/7 thoughtout every episode she is in. Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. And welcome to the channel.
Used to have this book I got it one Christmas 1984 and came with the cassette often I would listen to it in bed great stuff
Thanks for the feedback and great comment @centureye. I've uploaded pretty much all of the Ladybird Masters Of The Universe stories as well as a bumper set of stories as well. Plus there's a few additional extra old school nostalgic audiobooks and tape sets I uploaded on here you might not have seen or heard before. So thanks again have a great day happy viewing and listening and welcome to the channel @centureye.
Is the narrator Alan Oppenheimer? It sounds like him. I've heard him on so many of these read along audio cassettes
Hi @hezekiahramirez6965. While I don't doubt Alan Oppenhimer has alot of vocal talent even now with the voices he has breathed so much effort into including that of voicing Skeletor in He-Man Man At Arms Cringer Battle Cat Stampede in Bravestarr Oil Can Harry in Filmation's Mighty Mouse Prime Evil in Filmation's Ghostbusters and Dr Savana in Filmation's Shazam series I honestly couldn't say who exactly narrates or reads these stories from The Real Ghostbusters. Looked everywhere online for information on who read these stories and the stories from Rainbow Theatre where Real Ghostbusters is concerned but alas have found no answers to that question at all. Having said that I can't remember any point in time or my life where Alan Oppenhimer read audiobooks. However I have a Donald Duck audiobook with two stories on it one story revolving around Donald Duck and the second story revolving around Pluto and co and maybe its me but I swear the narrator of that Donald Duck audio cassette sounds alot like Sir David Jason. That audio cassette I mentioned will be a future upload one day in the future but before I do that if I'm ever lucky enough to find said item I understand there's yet another matching book that goes with this audiobook and it would be such a true joy to upload it when I can with not just the audio from the cassette tape but also the illustrations and images from the book as well so the audience can both see what's happening as well as hear what's happening. Thanks.
There needs to be a love ❤️ button
I had this for my 7th birthday with a walkman 😂 great memories funny how i know it word for word
That's great @walesalaska. I'm glad you enjoyed this story and that the memory that enjoyment brings even now. When I was a kid I only had two audio cassette adventures of Robin Of Sherwood they were The Last Arrow and Herne's Son. I'm amazed that they only made three audiobooks based upon that show considering that this show from the 1980s had alot more then just three episodes. However my biggest disappointment with this audiobook series wasn't with the audo cassette stories themselves but the lack of a matching book to go with them so viewers and listeners could have seen what was happening as well as hear what was happening. I mean the narrator clearly read from something back in the day in order to read narrate said story. Thanks again. Welcome to the channel. Happy listening viewing and memories and have a great day.

Haven't read this in over 30 years , Brought back some memories
Thanks @gavincosgrove. I'm glad you enjoyed this story from The Real Ghostbusters and that it brought back great memories. Thanks again.
hm! I always wondered what happened to Fast Eddie after he left Motörhead.. used car salesman eh
Grumpy Bear wouldn't be Grumpy Bear if he didn't have anything to be grumpy about. Lol!
As a kid I had the same problem as Sarah. I was rather small for my age (1.39 metres at age 10) and was worried that I was gonna become a midget. I'm just the right height now.
3:39 my favorite part
The kids in the books are British.
Some of the Care Bears sound like kids.
Wow, the nostalgia. What an amazing time. 😊 thank you!
