Oh my god thank you so much for sharing this. I absolutely loved these when I was a kid, I had a bunch of them from Transformers, He-Man, Thundercats etc. They hold such great memories, I can remember the words and sounds so clearly from like 30 years ago. Always amazing to hear the voice of Ed Bishop, famous as Captain Blue in Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, and Commander Ed Straker from UFO. Such an iconic voice.

Very nice. These Ladybird comics are really great, exciting stories and great drawing. Thanks for posting them. There were He-Man radio plays on cassette in Germany in the 1980s and episode 14, "Der feurige Eisvogel" (The Fiery Ice Bird) is based on this comic. It's one of my favorite episodes because the tension is built up for a long time until Skeletor, with his helpers and along with Mer-Man, finally attacks. The voice actors do a first class job, the music is wonderful, the sound effects are top! The radio play features Webstor, who sneaks on board at the beginning of the plot, knocks down the helmsman and thus secretly changes course. Also, a mythical creature called "Eisvogel" (Ice Bird) joins in, which helps Skeletor. During the battle, he grabs Teela and is about to drop her into the volcano, but He-Man swoops down on the bird from the Talon Fighter, blindfolds it and is able to free Teela. Shortly after, Skeletor and Mer-Man get into a fight and end up on a small ice floe. Mer-Man jumps into the water, leaving Skeletor behind, who begs Mer-Man for help since he can't swim. In episode 15, we learn that Mer-Man returned in time and saved Skeletor after all.

Cool. I did not know that there were He-Man radio plays in English. In Germany has a company with the license own produced. They were less narrative and more fixed on the voice-actors.
