- The Mighty Oak Tree: A tree of life, medicine and history! 🌳
Oaks stand tall with their vast canopies of unique lobed leaves, gifting us millions of acorns every year. These remarkable trees support over 2,800 wildlife species! 🦡🦊🐦🦎🐝 But their generosity doesn’t stop there-acorns are also edible for humans and can be ground into flour or even used as a coffee alternative! ☕🍞
The oak is also a rich source of natural medicine. Its powerful astringent properties can help heal wounds, aid digestion, and treat conditions like gingivitis! 💚

With love a good few of The Acorns delivered to Glasgow would be great to have something so big up here as for sweet chestnuts I found out sweet chestnuts don't grow good at all in Scotland so if you can eat acorns I would love some if it is possible hope you and your lovely family are keeping good
@@jaycruzsemple🥰🏴👍
Thank you for your video....❤ beautiful family
His enthusiasm and love for nature is so heartwarming.... and the way he dances as he speaks. Awsome!
Thanks! I have been told I have the body language of captain jack sparrow 🤣
You are like the Steve Irwin of herbalism, which is a huge compliment ❤❤❤
That was lovely. Thank you.
The first tree I planted on my land was an oak, from an acorn I picked up on my travels.
Just think… I planted a tree that will, if allowed to grow, be here for many generations to enjoy
That’s a nice thought 😊
I get to be the first viewer and comment :) I love your videos.
Thank you!
Ive got my hat on and am going to dance among the little crowned people under their Mother/Father. I love these videos .
A blue jay dropped an English Oak acorn from this year's tree. I'll be planting. When the Bluejay picked up a 🥜 peanut.
I picked up the oak acorn. I then put it in water and it sank so that means it's a good seed. I planted in the moist soil keep it moist so it doesn't dry out rot but becomes a new sprout seedling. I don't wish squirrels find it.
What a sweet way to explain it all about this mighty tree. I have also planted seeds from many Irish local trees, and the Oak is the most easy one to get thriving! ❤ Such a gift to this planet. As you are! Thanks for your enthusiasm and information. Maria
Really enjoyed this,❤
Thanks Dane, I thought I had to comment with a 40 yr old business name like this.
Love the name!
These amazing trees take me back to when i was a boy, They were great for climbing and making a tree house in, Very rare a branch snapped, Extremely strong. Not to many birds nests, but occasional owl roosting in them.
Thanks for the info and the trip down memory lane
The new oak leaf in spring makes excellent oak leaf wine.
I’ll plant another oak! You have reminded me of the many reasons that I LOVE the mighty oak. 🌳 😎
The future will be rewarded! 😁
The optimum vision of england the mighty oak

You’re such a great teacher. Love your enthusiasm. We gave our son the middle name Aiken which means acorn or little oak tree. He’s quite tall and mighty now 😊

Love the video. My oak tree had an abundance of acorns last year. This year nothing.😢
👍👍🏾
An oak tree can support 1000 animals, a similarly sized beech tree can only support 30 animals or 33.33 x more
Hi,just wanted to know what herbs can i use to help with arthritis in my hands? Thanks
🙏🧡🙏
🙂
❤😊
Of all the trees that grow so fair, old England to adorn
Greater are none beneath the sun than Oak, and Ash, and Thorn
Sing Oak, and Ash, and Thorn, good sirs
All on a midsummer's morn
Surely we'll sing of no little thing
In Oak, and Ash, and Thorn
also, if they float they're no good right? or is it if they sink? i think it's float...
who wrote that poem?
Me! All the poems in our videos and books are by myself 😁
And people say God doesn't exist 😢
