But don't take those away from people, who have no other choice! If you are young and you pass (look the preferred identity, even to others), you will not get challenged for using the bathroom of your choice, if you are quick and discret about it. BUT lingering about and NOT passing, makes it an issue: it creeps women out, being stalked by strangers, could become dangerous later, wants them to run away - it just HURTS, if NOT taken serious in such situations and being called a bigot or worse! Men are deemed dangerous - even the trans-people agree (why else would they try to force themselves into female spaces ? - they are afraid of men too). You might end part of the nightmare, by building more toilets - but hat is expensive and "WHY should we spent so much money on women, if nothing gets spent on men?" Women are perfectly fine with their toilets too, if only they would really stay that way - if there is a third group competing for public spaces, you can't just shove them onto the women and happily ignore the unease you are causing with this. Now that there are more, more rules are needed too keep everybody as happy as possible: more care for toilets would be a huge step in the right direction! His 10 year old son has already had an acting part in Casualty, now he is being highlighted by David and his wife as being non binary, - as David put it, they now have 'skin in the game' because of this. Now they are the cool parents who can tick off their credentials, as with so many other celebrities, of having a trans child. They get their affirmation and are on trend. Their children (in hello magazine) were pictured covered head to toe in rainbows and pride flags for Pride parade. This family appears to be steeped in Queer and gender/trans ideology and it may well be the case that the child in question is getting a lot of attention and affirmation from his parents for saying he is non binary. Sadly, if the child no longer wishes to go along with this, they might well worry about disappointing their parents and probably teachers too who advocate for this. So many children at that age don't confirm to gender stereotype and in the past that was ok, a boy could be a bit feminine or play with barbies, maybe he would be gay in future or it might mean nothing. Remember staff at the clinic that was closed down for causing harm, they joked about 'transing away the gay'. Most of us knew tom boy girls growing up. Now such children are told they might be the opposite sex or if they don't feel they confirm, non binary. I feel so sorry for children growing up these days, I'm so grateful we didn't have this at school and if we didn't conform to gender stereotypes it didn't matter, we were left alone and were not implanted with ideology that must be so confusing for kids.

I’m going to play devil’s advocate here, mostly because I quite like David Tennant; I think it could have been a slip of the tongue. He looked very slightly taken aback by his own words when he said, “until we live in a world where Badenoch doesn’t exist…” And then he immediately backtracked and said he doesn’t wish her ill, he just wishes she would shut up. She absolutely should not shut up, and it’s incredibly disappointing that David Tennant should have bought into this. It’s not at all surprising that the crowd would become so elated at the thought of someone not existing anymore.

Acting is a particular skill, but as has been shown time and time again, it doesn't correlate with high intelligence.
His 10 year old son has already had an acting part in Casualty, now he is being highlighted by David and his wife as being non binary, - as David put it, they now have 'skin in the game' because of this. Now they are the cool parents who can tick off their credentials, as with so many other celebrities, of having a trans child. They get their affirmation and are on trend. Their children (in hello magazine) were pictured covered head to toe in rainbows and pride flags for Pride parade. This family appears to be steeped in Queer and gender/trans ideology and it may well be the case that the child in question is getting a lot of attention and affirmation from his parents for saying he is non binary. Sadly, if the child no longer wishes to go along with this, they might well worry about disappointing their parents and probably teachers too who advocate for this. So many children at that age don't confirm to gender stereotype and in the past that was ok, a boy could be a bit feminine or play with barbies, maybe he would be gay in future or it might mean nothing. Remember staff at the clinic that was closed down for causing harm, they joked about 'transing away the gay'. Most of us knew tom boy girls growing up. Now such children are told they might be the opposite sex or if they don't feel they confirm, non binary. I feel so sorry for children growing up these days, I'm so grateful we didn't have this at school and if we didn't conform to gender stereotypes it didn't matter, we were left alone and were not implanted with ideology that must be so confusing for kids.

Happens to almost EVERYONE - at a certain age, you just believe you have gathered enough knowledge to preach to the world - parents have to do it all the time to their offspring! Even if you felt insecure most of your life, suddenly something important occures, you have to teach the whole world. Missionaries do it, and for others it just might be the first stages of a special kind of dementia: Suddenly you KNOW what should be right, your doubts just faded into the background, so you dare to speak up (especially if noone else wants to listen). Like different opinions - a lot, and as different as possible, how else could I find my own?
The world is truly going mad that actors like this have a platform. And his young child is being raised non binary. I grew up in the early 80's and as a child growing up as a boy and now a man. When I was 5 or 6 years old I had a Barbie doll for me she was action man's wife.if I was a kid now people would question my gender. And that's what's wrong a child of 5 or 6 doesn't know what they want for dinner let alone what gender they want to be. Just let kids be kids

Kemi should not have assumed his rant was about her skin colour but David should have accepted the award gratefully and sat down not publicly named and shamed her.
What happens if in a couple of years his son ( or what they identify as) hits puberty and decides they are actually a (biological) boy and decides they want to be named as such, will David have to give his trophy back if that’s what he got the award for?

Tennant isn't a free thinker, and can't think for himself. Being a professional pretender, he is so used to people telling him what to say (writers), and what to do (directors). Even by his own admission in the speech he admits to being told what to think by his wife "my wife educates me". I may be paraphrasing there, but that was the gist. These people seem to call out diversity in life, unless of course its diversity of thought and opionin.
