- Just Stop Oil protesters halted a performance of Les Miserables at the Sondheim Theatre in London’s West End on Wednesday night.
The protesters entered the stage during a performance of Do You Hear The People Sing?
Just Stop Oil said that four protesters then locked themselves to the stage using flexible bicycle locks at around 8.50pm. The show did not resume.
TalkTV’s Julia Hartley-Brewer has a furious clash with Just Stop Oil activist Fiona Atkinson.
Fiona: “At what point are your audience going to say ‘why did you misinform us, Julia?’ Is it going to be the bit where the waves are going over their houses?”

They would be better off raising money or protesting for coastal defence budgets and things like that because the sea will rise more and more over time.

If her so called ‘facts’ were to any extent true she wouldn’t need to needle and intimidate Julia. Fiona’s concept of this world - utterly scary. What is insulation made from? Mud? What are wind turbine blades made from? Recycled plastic bags?
