  • Restoring motion and position of the right pubic bone reflexively released a chronic right side bending in the upper neck. She reports that in photos her head is always side bent left. This is due to compensation for an inferior right pubic bone and is driven by the nervous system via the Righting Reflex. Now when she walks and sits the right sacroiliac no longer feels stiff. Pain reduced from a 3 to a 2/10.
This is presented by Dr. Jerry Hesch, MHS, DPT, PT, HSP of Hesch institute in Aurora, Colorado. Jerry treats chronic pain using a whole-body Manual Therapy and educational approach. Wow, amazing stuff.. I have the same thing (left neck flexion in all photos) and have been working on my neck for a long time with only temporary relief... Checked my public joint and sure enough.. Right side is noticeably inferior! You wouldn't believe how many UA-cam videos I have watched over the years and professionals I have seen to try and help my issues.
My question is, do you have a general guide to the heirachy of which joints to treat first? Like why you would treat the public before the cervical etc.? I was taught that the sacrum can mirror the cranium and cranium is top of the heirachy, but I would be very interested in learning about your method... It looks amazingly pragmatic, straight forward and effective!
Thank you so much for sharing your brilliant work!

Mr Hesch, if I have a right pelvic up slip and right side pain in my iliac crest and right side pubic pain but my LEFT SI joint is in constant pain, do you think this technique would work? Or would it just exacerbate my upslip? Or would pressing on the left help even out the upslip on the right?!

oops I just now saw this. My evaluation is very detailed and there are many patterns of movement dysfunction. It would depend on a movement diagnosis
