    My pelvic is so out of alignment I can’t walk in flat shoes b/c my one leg is longer, I trip. But when I wear heals my longer leg will swing out not straight. Like this patient, I have herniated discs. My pain on my left side gets so bad I’ll literally collapse. It just gives out. When I drive/ sit I always use a tennis ball to push on. I’ve been to a chiro and they adjust me and it returns to the incorrect position within mins. Also, I can’t lay on my stomach on a flat surface, every time my rip will slip out of place, it’s the most painful thing. I wish you were in NY you’re very knowledgeable.

    God, I love your humanitarianism, Jerry! YOU ARE a true and honest HEALER! What YOU have figured out is HOW to actually FIX people!
    NOT a practitioner who stops short and keeps the patient in the circle of illness, to generate continued flow of income! You WANT TO FIX people, so they DON'T have to keep coming back! This was what medical practices USED to embrace but no longer do! Bless you, Jerry!❣️

    Dr. Hesch, so I tried this movement and it has pretty much eliminated my SI joint pain that I have had since 2003. What exactly happens to the joints to align them while doing this simple hinge? Thank you so much for posting these videos, this has been very helpful for me!

    I need to find someone like you in the uk! I’ve spent over £3,000 on different treatments and nothing has worked. I now can’t walk without severe sciatica down both legs 😭 I’ve been told there is nothing they can do for me, 3 years I’ve been like this 😭

    Dr.Hesch I want to visit you, but I’m so far away, I can be there in a few months just waiting for this covid-19 to get better. Do you know any dr in Europe that you can recommend who has your experience and technique.

    Thank you so much for making these videos! I am a Rolfer and I really care about my patients. Regardless of how a treatment works...if something is happening and alleviating pain, I find tremendous value in it. Thank you!

      Thank you Ryan, Where do you practice? I have a home study course and sometimes teach workshops. Would love to teach to Rolfers. One rolfer told me his income soared when he started using my work via word of mouth, it is distinctly different from any other approach to joints (nervous sytem via dense connective tissue work). Awonderful alternative to forceful adjustments.

      @@JerryHeschInstitute Thank you for your reply! I practice in Sacramento, CA. My mentor suggested that I sign up for your workshop that was unfortunately canceled due to COVID. I am interested in your home study course, where can I learn more about that? What I am learning from my Rolfing mentors is that Ida Rolf created the Rolfing Ten Series as a treatment protocol, but more so as a living educational vehicle one can use to initiate entry into the wholistic treatment of the gross body, putting one in the position to take their education further and more subtly as they see fit. Any effective modality can be folded into view of "Rolfing." And I am excited by the promise of your teachings!

    Dr. Hesch, I'd like to see you around end of January if you have an opening and would like to ask if I need to make plans to stay a week so I can see you twice at least. I don't know if my specific situation requires one visit or at least a couple. I'd be flying in from another State., I have X-rays and MRI but no one has really explained to me what my issue is. All I know is that I have pain in my right bum that sometimes generates up to my right hip. No other pain anywhere else. The PT referral from my doctor said said I have degenerative spondylosis. I have X-Ray and MRI report and photo.

    Dr Hesch, I would like to see someone that is trained in the Hesch Method. I live in Fairfax County in Northern Virginia, 22 miles from DC and 15 miles from Maryland. I am willing to drive 25 miles if necessary to be seen. Please recommend someone for me to see in this area. I have struggled with pain for 10 years now. I am fused at L4-L5, with Labral tears and severely torn bilateral hamstrings at the hamstring insertion of the sit bones. My pelvis is constantly out of alignment, rotated and tilted. I see a chiropractor regularly and am now seeing my 7th different Physical Therapist looking for relief. I have also had pelvic floor therapy 3 times. I have pain in my lumbar spine, piraformis, glutes, obturator, at the iliac crest, hip flexors, ischial bursitis, and sacrum. I appreciate your help. Thank you.

    Hi Dr Hersch,
    Which areas does this stretch? I have rotation/twisting issues with sacrum, pelvis, cervical and back. My abs are chronically contracted and hips are pushed forward. Sometimes I have to massage/traction the pubic area and consciously try to relax the lower abs/pelvic floor to help the pelvis move 'under the body'/in line.

    Wouldn't Xray or a CT show positioning? As well to check for degenerative fusion of the Illiac spine on the joint space to the Sacrum on the PSIS or ASIS unilaterally or bilaterally? Along with C1-2 joint of Lushka or the ligament there is hypermobile from trauma?

    • @jerryheschsr
      @jerryheschsr 3 роки тому

      depends. they do not show movement impairment and movement inside the sacroiliac is so very small and movement THROUGH the joint can be restricted from OUTSIDE the joint hence my use of correlation of hands on assessment (mine is the most detailed approach) with imaging. As Gregory Grieve wisely stated xrays are good policemen but poor counselors.

    I am a bit concerned about the visually obvious discrepancies of testing technique between the "good" sacral side and the "bad"...It is quite obvious in more than one of your tests that much less effort was involved in left side springing. I state this as a 30+ year orthopedic PT w/ a good amount of training in this condition. Your approach way well be the best thing since sliced bread, but please be more scientific in your demonstrations. I have noted this discrepancy in at least one other of your videos I have watched.

    • @JerryHeschInstitute
      @JerryHeschInstitute  3 роки тому +2

      Thank you for sharing your concerns. Can you point to a specific time in the video? I appreciate that it may appear differently visually to an observer. When I started to develop the spring tests (1981) I would mount the table and apply very symmetrical forces and then stand on the side of the table and repeat and found the same restrictions. I had a MicroFET force tested and used this on large samples to develop specific forces in performing the spring tests. I am in the process of obtaining Haptic gloves with force sensors and will be presenting on that. I am not sure if one can see how much force a person is applying but I appreciate that the angle of contact is different from right to left and in the presence of blocked mobility I do n to need to apply additional force. I look forward to your reply. I have never heard someone reference my work as maybe being the best thing since sliced bread.
