it's even worse if you have had a lot of lack of sleep or stress during the month. it becomes debilitating. especially when your period is late, it feels like it never ends.

As if it isn't hard enough, I become noncommunicative and turn my anger inward... I want to communicate and be heard but I see how "irrational" or crazy my words seem... so I rephrase them, rewrite them... The message lost, I've begun blaming my own 'flaws' -- So I just think f**K it and don't send anything. Internal chaos GROWS
edit: the irregularity catches me too.

My most annoying symptom is feeling completely hopeless and questioning every decision I make. I did use an IUD for 2 years to stop my period to see if it helped, and all of my PMDD symptoms resolved. Unfortunately, I had zero libido and complete disinterest in sex to the point of repulsion. I ultimately got it removed because of that, but my PMDD is back with a vengeance and seemingly getting worse as I age (I'm 42). Thanks for your series as it is teaching me a lot. Modern medicine has no clue how to help us and it is sadly under-researched.

Can you possibly do a video on what way PMDD affected your relationship with your BF? Coping mechanisms and really how you told him?
I love my gf dearly, she definitely suffers from PMDD, every month it's likes the happiest person in the world morphs into the most depressed and distant person imagineable.
I really want to show her your video, but she can't deal with any feedback, she always sees it as negative and if you are attacking her.

Absolutely! Adding it to my list now. When you say coping mechanisms, do you mean for her or for yourself as a partner to someone with PMDD?
My best advice in the meantime would be to talk with her about PMDD (or show her videos that may help her) when she's a few days into her follicular phase as that is when women become more open to new things/ideas/etc. Is this something you've tried before?

      @@TrulyBecomingYou Thank you so much.
With regards the coping mechanisms I meant with regards your relationship, I've read loads of articles and watched other videos where girls with PMDD have said they have broken up with their BF's for no reason or just hate everything about them for 2 weeks and this causes lots of fights, does this happen ye, and how do ye cope?
For me which was so so so relateable was when you mentioned about sympathize with loved ones, I notice the biggest change in my gf, she goes from being nice, energetic, friendly, to depressed, distant, and ANGRY.
The problem for me is when I saw this to her, even after the episode she says I'm scrutinizing her, and it's results in a fight
