I've been looking at a band mill for years. Cook's is without a doubt the best built mill on the market. I would say they are industrial, vs a hobby mill like the majority of the rest.
The woodmisers aren’t bad, the only problem that I’ve seen with them is the cantilever head it can start to sag over time making your cut less accurate. With cook’s mills they have a four post head set up so they’re a lot more sturdy. Cook’s are more of a rugged mill, not that pretty but will last a long time, while woodmiser is more refined but you will probably have to do a little more maintenance on it the longer you have it.
Those girlfriends looked like they should have went dress shopping instead of trying to be butch sawing logs. BTW you should use cedar and not pine for garden beds. Pine rots way to fast.

Absolutely, they are built to cut a lot of wood fast and with little to no issues.
Loved the video! Sawing lumber is fun but hard work. Good to have friends that enjoy helping!
Wow! I never knew how they cut logs into planks....you all make it look so easy.
Lyn yeah, it’s a pretty cool process.
Just found your video. Glad to see another Cook's mill out there. Good luck in our endeavours!

Looking at getting a mill soon. Been contemplating the cooks ill or woodmiser mill. Any thoughts?

I want to hear a review of the mill.
That was originally the plan. Hopefully in the future I will be able to put together a full review.
