Thanks for sharing an overview of your dating experiences in the Philippines 🇵🇭. I’ve never been to the PHs yet, so don’t have first-hand experience like you. However I met many Filipino people when I was back home in Canada and did find them to be the kindest, friendliest people ever. What a huge difference comparing Filipinas to many western women. It’s like comparing black and white.

The Filipinos in Canada are relatives of your prospective girlfriend i.e. if the Filipinos in Canada equally find you to be kind, friendly and hardworking. Its really normal for the filipino to help the family especially if they’re really poor but in a limited time but you have to explain it. Helping them with a little amount make them happy and will treasures it. Most important makes them happy and will respect you as well.

  • @oceanegele3559

This was such an articulate and well made video. Thank you. I’m Filipina by race but raised abroad and married to a foreigner. I am westernized as I grew up in American schools but still have Filipino traditional values that make it a struggle for me to be really close with western females; they often seem too haughty for me. Obviously not all! I have a couple of very sweet western friends. But for the most part I’m not a group girl with tons of friends surrounding me in pictures or anything like that. Now in the Philippines, many of my friends have tons of friends and family surrounding them, but not because to post on FB all the time; they’re just like that! I lived there for a few years and actually learned how refreshing it was to have friends who shared some of the traits I had. But at the same time, I was in the city, so there were some people I didn’t care for as well because they were a bit proud and full of themselves. If you are thinking of province Filipinos, that’s nice but be aware some may also be wanting to get out of their condition and just want you for money. Plus you’ll be expected to help her family sometimes (or in worst case scenarios, all the time). I would say my husband wouldn’t really know much about the difference between western and Asian women; we just married because we loved each other and see that. And there have been many hard times but through it all we have stuck through and loved each other more not because of ourselves but because of God, Who brought us together.
In the Philippines, there is a great awareness of God and Christian values. I am not a Catholic, however. But I am a Christian believer. And there are times I do catch myself haughty and proud and what makes me want to change is not so much my Filipino values but remembering how God wants me to live. God is love and gives meaning and purpose to life and a hope for eternity. When two people are complete in Him, then when they come together, it becomes the original design of marriage. But the key is to stay humble. Many people actually have died in hospitals and came back to testify of experiencing a great Love. (See Randy Kay Ministries on UA-cam.) There is a source of true love, and it doesn’t come from race or humans alone, because we all have faults. In the Bible:
    1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
    John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
I hope all the best for you and your perhaps future wife. Thank you for being a gentleman and recognizing the traits you appreciate.

After being here a year in the Philippines, my only advice to those guys coming here to find a good woman is to go slow and don't move a woman into your place right away and be very honest from the beginning about your intentions with having children or long term committed relationships, it's not like the West here when it comes to casual dating.

I only date Province Filipinas because I’m very comfortable with myself and I have the ability to bring out the best in others through many different ways and it works wonderfully for province Filipinas and myself. I am also psychologically minded as a result I understand Filipinas very well by merely observing what they do and don’t do. US women have trained men to be femininized. There’s no room for feminization of men in SE Asia. I’ve been to 7 SE Asian countries and it’s important to let go of US female training of men. I haven’t dated in US for many years because I see much better choices outside of US. Dating in SE Asia is healing for the brutality men have been through in the US.

All I can say is there's a valid reason that things ended, but it's not necessarily anything too unique to the Philippines that I think people should be aware of. Unfortunately things happen in relationships and it's also kind of a complicated situation, I truly wish her the best and I'll always cherish our good times together. Perhaps there are some generalities I can take from this experience and discuss in future videos without sharing details or putting anyone in a negative light. I'll figure something out. She dropped it right after I proposed to her. She'd not had sex before marriage. I think that finding one that Doesn't go with the crowd or drink while young is the one to look for. You need one who just simply detests drinking or partying. Simple as. One that goes to church as much as she can - not All the time necessarily but 2 times a month, even once a month.

On the other hand, having been in several relationships here in the States, IMO, Western women know how to behave sweet, kind and loving, but it never lasts, leaving you feeling stung and dismayed because you realize it was a short-term goal-driven act to try and "close the deal." So if they like you, they will call. If not, it’s fine too. I don’t date one at a time because women don’t either. Haha

It was already getting to be the case, 30 years ago. Granted, many guys have issues too. It’s not just the women. However, my experience was that I have a few good relationships but there were issues around not wanting kids and I could see that they were the types to be career oriented and park the kids in daycare. Other women I dated has issues with their morals or mental health. I met a Filipina and I could tell in two weeks that she was the one. One thing that I liked was that I could treat her really well and she would appreciate it. She acted like someone out of my mom’s era (very conservative and religious). We are celebrating our 30 years anniversary this month.
Our son was having issues with local women also and met a Filipina contract worker that is such a sweet and elegant girl.
I made sure that my daughter was raise with good values and am proud of her. She’s a beautiful woman. That said the men are also no good and as pretty as she is, she can’t find a decent guy..yet. So, I do feel bad for the good single women out there.

Hey there thanks for watching and commenting. Well I would imagine everyone will have a different approach or suggestion, but since you have a limited amount of time I would say it may be in your best interest to try to make a good connection with someone online before heading there. OKCupid is pretty good even for the free version.
If online is not your thing, I would just suggest being friendly with everyone, start conversations, Filipinos are very welcoming of foreigners and are often open to conversing with you, my biggest suggestion with this approach is to not focus on trying to get someone's number or having any kind of pressure to find a girlfriend, but rather just be sincere and friendly and let it happen naturally. It's also great to make friends with foreigners or anyone for that matter just to have a friend base there because you never know who they may know and can introduce you to someone. Good luck!

Maybe it was all that western/hollywoodization of the modern western woman, placing her on the pedestal, and it got engrained in our culture in the west... No wonder we feel so different about women of other cultures, our own western women don't flinch a thank you, not even this much... But hey, there are a few good ones far and few between, well maybe, i don't know anymore... I can relate to the trend, western society is going bust, thank you hollywood! Hi Chad.. Ty for the great content you provide. Kinda bummed that Rosie is out but that’s your decision so best of luck but she’s the real deal and IMO you may want to reconsider. Anyhow I married my filipina 27 years ago in Hong Kong and she was the same way. Grabbing tissue and wiping off my dress shoes in public but I quickly asked her to stop that as I was not looking for a slave but a woman I fell in love with which was her. She understood. My suggestion for anyone else looking to marry a filipina just be careful. Yes very caring people but if you choose to bring her to America to live then in time she will adapt to how American women act. If that’s ok with you then you’ll be fine but if the reason you chose to marry a filipina because you don’t like the ways of American women then you’re better off living in the Philippines.

My views on some things may have changed as I am now more aware of my surroundings and the things happening around me but my principles and beliefs remain the same. Now if you mean change in terms of what a woman wants for herself like material things😂, what woman does not want to be pampered and showered with gifts? It makes me so special and being loved when he gifts me with jewelries or bags during special occasions. It makes me happy. On the other hand, serving my husband in any way possible comes systematically , without being asked knowing he does these things for me, too. If you know how to love your wife, your wife will love you more. Good luck!

Tricky question there's so many variables, in some ways starting to chat with someone way in advance is ideal and go slow getting to know them, I think the good ones move very slowly and are a bit cautious as they should be. Some girls won't even consider you if you're already in the Philippines, to me that's weird but it's definitely a thing here.. American ladies in contrast... Here in America I felt sorry for a lady I knew for years when her significant other died in 2019. I didn't own a car, she did. I said I'd like to take her out diner to relax and expressed my condolences etc. so it wasn't a "date" it was me treating her to going out as we were both living in government housing and on food support etc. So she's driving down a busy avenue and I said I'd treat her to like an all you can eat Chinese buffet something not elaborate. She said her son used to work at this Italian restaurant and we should go there, so she knew what we were getting into and I didn't. I did notice the pretty nice decor etc and hardly anyone there (their prices). She ordered expensive drinks and the menu was very high priced. Lunch, and I mean lunch, was for both of us $120, plus after we returned to her government housing apartment (she had moved) I was going to ride my bike 10 miles to get home and she had lived in my high-rise building and her significant other had lived and died there, so she knew the effort I made to reach out to her in her grieving. So before I get on my bike she asks me for a few dollars on top of that, and she didn't even thank me!
Also I found on the street, riding my bike, a gift card to the very nice Olive Garden restaurants. I called the 800 number on the back to see if I could find who had lost the card. They said it was worth $25 and no way to trace who had bought it. I asked three ladies in my Senior building that I would take them out to dinner, and we are Seniors who very rarely eat out as we can't afford to on our budgets. All three ladies knew me for years. I was always very nice and polite to all and even keep a lot of thank you cards from people thanking me for helping them etc on my apartment walls as positive affirmations... so all three I asked readily said without hesitation "no" and never even at least thanked me for thinking of them. That's the way American women can be. I know there are nice people everywhere but many other stories and it is the way things can go here "nice guys finish last." Thanks for being open about your attempts and adventures. You are one who acts rather than procrastinates and reacts, a bold and courageous person!!!

M'y Mexicana Amor said her radiatior in the truck was not working.
She said a machanic was coming to work on it in two days. But he had started working on the problem two days prior.
Knowing the make and model of the truck I asked her what was it doing? She described a common problem that is not associated with the cooling system.
I told her I would be right over. When I got there she was in some baggy blue grand and in a big Mexican straw hat. She had some new Nikes on.
I asked for the keys. I opened the hood. There was motor oil, hydraulic fluid, and muddy water on the engine and on the ground.
I was not dressed to fix any problems and I only had two pairs of pants and four shirts in Mexico at that time.
Before I could bat an eye she laid down on the ground on her back with her blonde hair catching drops of oil. Her blue green eyes now were ringing with mud, water, and grime. It was raining a cold hard rain that day. Dirty rain fell from the engine block into her mouth.
I did not know what to do or say. I had seen Viaja Filipinas do such manly things but I had never seen an exotic dancer type woman in the US do such a thing.
To this day, I waved as she drove by yesterday. To this day I am still ashamed of myself when I am around her
She never has said anything about it.
One day it was raining. I went into a store. She went to another. When I came out she was heading to the car. She turned and pointed at a spot. She told me I slipped right there. My butt is now bused.
I took her hand to pull her close and carry her to the car.
She pushed away and asked what are you doing? I am going to be ok.
She showed manly pride. The I got this type.
She did not go to work for three days and was on pain killers for two weeks after the fall.
She never asked me for a Peso when she was out of work.
Brasileiras, Filipinas, and Mexicanas live by the rule that anything a man can do they can do it for their children and sick husban too.

Hi Chad. Your recent dating experience in Florida is almost hard to believe, but mostly out of my own absence from dating in the west for well over a decade. I’ve been almost completely out of the dating scene ever since I left Canada 12 years ago and moved to the Japan countryside. (I almost never have an opportunity to meet single women here, so a big motivator to want to leave). How does that woman you dated 1 time and paid the bill for all her expensive drinks and appetizers expect to attract a man into her life? How could she simply take your kind generosity without thanking you? I’m actually confused. Her actions make me think she would prefer to be ‘bought’ just like an escort. How did you leave the date? No offense intended, but in my opinion, she just played you for a night out of free drinks and food. No wonder men are getting their passports renewed. I want to leave Japan ASAP and move to the PHs. I’m in the planning stages now.

I can speak a little bit on that in Cebu city there are quite a few highly rated hospitals and clinics and I know Manila has the same, from everyone I've talked to including locals and foreigners overall it sounds pretty good in the two main cities, perhaps devao as well but I don't know much about that area. When you leave the cities and go into the province from what I've heard and what I can tell it drops off quite a bit
