I came to the Philippines after 25 years of stressed-out career and failed relationships in Los Angeles, thinking it was too late for me to have a normal family and an actual committed relationship. 10 years later I'm married to the best woman I've ever known, in the relationship I've been waiting my whole life for. She's from the Provinces, just as you say. Unspoiled, motivated, resourceful, happy, friendly, honest. I thought women like this were some Disney fantasy, after my time in L.A., but they exist in the Philippines.

I met a young provincial Filipina while standing on the tarmac late one night at Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa Japan. She was walking by, and I went, "Hmmmm...." Five months later we married. Probably not the best way to go about it if you are looking to meet and build a relationship with one. The odds of it happening are pretty slim. You could be standing out there a long time before one wanders by.
I used to chat with a former US guy who met his Filipina wife while posted to the Philippines after a tour in Iraq. He was walking along the footpath and saw a Filipina walking in front of him, he liked the view so much he overtook her and started a conversation with her. The end result he has a wife and children.
@@maddoman11 meeting a beautiful Filipina in the Philippines is about the easiest thing in the world. As you noted, just walking down the street is certainly good enough to find one to spend a lifetime with. There are certain procedures and cultural touch points that do make it easier to start and build that relationship. The better you know those, the the better you can do so.
My province girl (Samar) and I met via PenaLove over 2 years ago. I liked being able to sort through our likes and dislikes online. Wasn’t looking for short term fun. But I met some really bad girls until I finally found a good girl. I think your advice in this regard is pretty good.
Glad to hear you're doing well. I appreciate your fresh perspective. Keep posting. Even if you don't feel like you have a lot of content it's enjoyable going on the bike rides with you and seeing the scenery.
I'm following you from last year. Yea I saw your vlog about Filipina Christian. I did sigh up 3 month ago, so far so good. Dating online in some way is better ,save you time and money. But to see the person in person and sense it is the better. Thank you and make new vlogs, you are good at that.
You "date" online to see where you will go to next. Plane trips are less than $100. I found my wife on the second island I flew to, but I think Cebu is the best starting point for a few days walking/taxiing around because the people are so friendly there. There's an energy that is matched in other places too but it's different. You get scooped up in the current of Filipino ways 1st, then you can start to venture out (to other islands).
I "dated" my Filipina online for a year before meeting her. Best way to get to know each other as long as you don't lie. She was from Cebu city, so not a province girl. She was so nieve to the outside world, so when she finally came to the states she became disillusioned. Then her family started asking for money all the time. I put her in charge of that, but told her if she wanted to "send", she should get a job. She learned real fast the stress they put on me financially. Been married 12 years and have an 8 year old boy. Filipina girls can be sweet, but watch out for the "tampo". 😂 BTW I'm 61 now, and she's turning 34 this month. She was 21 when we met.
I learned about that sending money stuff when I worked at the hospital. She came here on a fiancé visa but when she got a job I said it's up to you. You are working for it now. I just never understood why they become the person they try to suck money from for life. I haven't been there yet, but I imagine they live very poor so I kind of understand but the mentality of wanting that support for life is mind boggling. Perhaps some have no choice.
Great video Chad you are so right on with all your talking points. I did a bit different after a year in the Philippines I have a home base. province of Capiz , Roxas City. Been here 3 months only saw and met 4 foreigners. Taking my time to find the right person to spend the rest of my life with. I am also ok living alone. Lost my wife 7 years ago it’s ok to be alone for now and find the right person to live with. I am not a fan of dating sites but may do it. I have made a lot of Filipino friends so enjoy the culture. It’s very easy for me to meet people and make friends so someday I will meet the right women. Take care and keep the videos coming.

I agree with being cautious and taking care of the reputation. Dating here is very different. Not only with a foreigner but dating in general. We cannot just go out with anyone to test the water to see if we will get along and share the same vibes and then if not then jump to another guy to set another date until we meet the right one for us. You cannot do that here. People would think you are somewhat like a playgirl 😅entertaining different guys. So usually, we will do the “testing of water” through chat/call until we are sure enough to agree for a date. That’s why dating here is really hard, chatting/texting takes time only to realize that you don’t like each other the moment you meet them. (Oh, one thing we do is to date the guy in a place far from our Baranggay. So it’s safe from people’s attention and less pressure. We’ll just allow them to visit our hometown when we are sure that it will lead to a relationship 🫣)
Thank you for this insight from a Filipina. Between what you wrote and the vlog, I think we get a fairly good idea what dating is like in the province. For example, meeting her away from her home province takes the pressure off of her . Westerners need to empathize with the social consequences for a Filipina of dating a foreigner. We tend to think of dating as having no consequence because it has none in the West. In PH, there is a social price of dating and the province Filipina takes a big social risk when she dates a foreigner. Western men should do whatever they can to minimize that risk and the potential price they will pay if the relationship fails. Thanks for your insight
Yes...this is very true. Once me & my girlfriend got acquainted she wanted to make sure no one knew my name. She said every girl in the Barangay would be after me on Facebook trying to steal me away....lol
Man i appreciate your videos and the window you provide into a possible new life. I’m 52 going through a divorce and in such a sucky time of life right now. I just hope I have the guts to actually make that big move. Keep the videos coming man, thank you!!
Good common sense advice. Leyte seems like a very nice & chill island. I'm going to be relocating to either Phils or Thailand next year. Right now leaning hard towards Thailand, but I will be visiting both countries again in a few weeks and maybe go one more time later this year to check out new spots. Will be making my mind up by year end.

Have not regretted meeting my filipina online first before visiting Cebu. Granted it took awhile because there were a lot of girls but my wife checked all the boxes and we are both very happy. Good luck on your search, Chad...Jim
If you want a Filipina wife, just go there cold. I met my wife simply walking down the street in Davao City in 1998. I walked into her restaurant and six months later I walked down the aisle.
Great video. I've been here a little over a month near Manila. I really think I am with the wrong Philippina, but its so hard to just walk away from such a young beautiful woman. In the US it would be inconceivable to even think of moving on from what I have now. If I can find it in myself to break it off, I think I will try the province to see if I can find a better long term match. Nothing is holding me here in Quezon City except the woman.
I’m a Filipina here in Texas. If you have doubts, please move on. You don’t want to be with the “wrong” Filipina your entire life. Go to the province and meet your perfect match. Beautiful? There are lots of beautiful women.
You are falling for what is called the sunk cost fallacy. Because you've invested XYZ, you don't want to see that XYZ wasted by giving up even though it would be in your best interest to do so, so you continue to invest more and more XYZ. Just stop. Stop the investment. Stop the time wasting. Move on. It can be hurtful and regretful, but if it is in your best interest to do so then it is actually the best thing to do.
Hi Chad! Another very enjoyable video. I very much appreciate you’re talking and sharing your experiences with us in such an easy to listen to manner. You have a good point about actually being in the Philippines and how a guy is knocked off his focus.... Over Stimulation from a wider range of ladies... Who are open to date you... It really takes a lot of concentration and self discipline to stay on your goal of selecting the best women for you and your life goals.. It's not difficult for a lady to follow you when you are checking out the women... You have to stick to your criteria.. You are the prize... You have to use a certain amount of effort to take the initiative to know your surroundings... Don't put yourself in the position of relying upon her.... Then she will steer things to her direction... This is one of the biggest mistakes Western Men make... They give the power to the Filipina right off the bat.. They let them be their MOMMA... Bad move... You have to be the DADDY The MAN and be the ONE... to Take charge... Or you will get Sucked into their agenda...

Lived 20 years in the Philippines, this guy has some great advice. I disagree with his reading of Filipina, in that they want to go slow, but instead what a confirmation that the guy went to the Philippines to meet her specifically. The gossip thing, 100%. The openness to strangers, ya 100%. Every Filipina has heard of guys shopping for "short time" with an ignorant girl. Impregnate her and disappear. So, she asks "do you have a Filipina you are visiting?" because for sure she is going to tell that Filipina her guy is still shopping. You chat for 3 months while in the US, city gal or country, you are going to get laid in the first 4 days. It is not about money, morals, drive, "entrapment," or any of that. It is you fit her dreams. She wants security, travel, predictability, to be valued, white/pretty children, an emotionally mature guy. You fit her checklist. Love? huh? She will learn to live and love with you. This is a culture without divorce. Make the best of what you have, he is the last.
Hi chad, I live in Hawaii and I am planning on visiting the Philippines in about three months. I am going to Thailand first for two months because I purchased an elite visa there. I am 68 years old so I will try my best to keep up with you guys. Keep up the great work with your videos. Send this information to Chris and see what he thinks about it. A lot of filipina from province goes to Manila for work so i think you dont really have to go to super country side, there are many "probinsyana" who has ordinary jobs in Luzon, city parts. Just dont grab girls at clubs or just anywhere 😂 it's really up to you on how you handle it and how you judge. Be wise and ask God for wisdom.
Mrs Rick went from the province to Manila to go to one of the major universities. She lived at a relative's boarding house, which served all the young family members who also made that transition to college. When we later met she had a good experience of living in the big city but was still a provincial girl at heart.

My church friend actually met a really friendly and pretty Philippine online and chatted with her for almost a year before he went to go see her. I don't see it happening just by going for a week long vacation.
God knows better for you and for her. There is no luck, or accidental meetings, it’s all karma: you made a decision to end up one day in one place and she will be waiting for you there. Just have clear plan and Gods will to do something good in life.
Local girls in Bali are very similar. Gotta go super slow. Text a few days. Go to lunch at a local restaurant very near their home / work. Not a fancy restaurant. Slowly slowly.

I checked into Christian Filipina and they have quite the salespeople and they are bloody expensive unless you're some kind of wallflower that can't walk up to a woman or have the common sense to check her out I would say it's a lot of money.. cheaper to have your own Filipino attorney and background check whomever you're associating with

I appreciate very much that you qualified who is the Filipina you are meeting here in our country. We have been stereotyped so many times that the world forgot we are island people, and as island people, we possess our own island's culture and custom. Our three major islands are Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, thus we have Luzonian Filipinas, Visayan Filipinas, and Mindanaoan Filipinas. Needless to say, each Filipina has different worldviews and personalities shaped by their own cultural backgrounds. The Luzonian Filipinas are predominantly Tagalogs, Visayan Filipinas are Cebuanas, Warays, etc. and Mindanaon Filipinas are predominantly Muslims and Visayans. I challenge foreigners who are smitten by Filipinas whether online or offline qualify the Filipinas they meet. Discover these cultures and see which approximate the relationship goal you've set for yourself in meeting a Filipina. This comes as a fact check on who a Filipina really is.
Living in the Philippines will definitely change your life especially if you marry into the their family, it will be required for you to financially support all members of the family 😅...good luck with that 😅
So what are you saying? Stay here and lose half your $h.t and your kids to a woman that never cooked and weighs more than you? I don't understand the point of your comment, unless you don't live in the West (America)
My girl is from Biliran. We met online 2 weeks before I visited Philippines. I had no plans so went to meet her and spent 3 weeks together around Biliran island includng Tinago falls. We talk every day and I am going back end of M ay to take her away to see Manila and other parts of Philippines

Hi Chad, love your videos! I have 6 weeks to tour the Philippines in November 2024. I love fishing and touring. Could you recommend a good place/route to take? Thanks and keep the great videos coming!
I feel people saying "settling down" say it in a way like it's a bad thing and also seems to imply your living a 304 lifestyle. You can meet someone, stay pure , and still enjoy your current lifestyle of travel during courtship. And even in marriage you can make adjustments to your lifestyle but still have it after your family starts growing. Homeschooling your future kids as you travel and they can experience so many things that kids who go to public indoctrination camps do get to experience.
Okay, I’m retired, I watched tons of videos, I don’t want to travel, I don’t want to go to the province, middle of nowhere, I planned on staying in Cebu, So what advice you have about that, I’m drawn to the cost of living, meeting a younger woman and just living a peaceful life????
Never noticed that but it's true. You have to frequent the vendor for a week or so (scotty did by fluke), buying a dollar's worth & bs around before it becomes comfortable.
Hey Chad, great content, thanks! I completely agree with taking it slow and really thinking carefully about what exactly you want. We can’t blame the Filipinas at all for being cautious, since we all know not all expats have long term in mind. I have 2 questions: 1) if living in the province, and you date 1 woman and for whatever reason you decide to go separate ways, how big a problem does this cause if wanting to date a different woman in the same province town/city? 2) the attention and affection from young, attractive women is welcome for us men, no doubt. I can’t help but wonder though, are these young women really genuine - specifically, are they really attracted to us? 6:43 OR just our money? (Since entering a committed relationship with an expat will surely provide a ‘1-way, fast-track, first-class’ ticket out of poverty in a hurry). Thanks, David in southern Shikoku, Japan.
Hey thanks for the comment, I'll probably make a video going into more detail of this kind of thing but in a nutshell, yes there can definitely be challenges to date in a small town and then move onto someone else, the second girl if she knows you had a girlfriend there there's a good chance she will be very reluctant to be with you it wouldn't be impossible it would just take a lot of time to feel comfortable with it. It's possible that many won't even consider it at the beginning and not chat with you once you tell her. As for your second question that's a yes and a no it depends on the girl. I have a good friend who is a Filipina and she prefers much older guys and she's attracted to the look. Many like the maturity and security that an older guy brings. But there's also many younger cute girls that you can tell are not really into there much older or below average looking older partner. You will see them checking out other guys like crazy and you can tell their connection is kind of fake. so it really just depends you just have to find a genuine girl who wants a genuine relationship more than anything many Filipinas don't care about looks compared to western girls
@@ChadFosterExplores Hi Chad, thanks for the detailed reply! I feel my first question is the more difficult one to deal with. Since us guys often want to spend more time with a woman - to better get to know them - before deciding on a long-term commitment, this one is tricky if we decide she’s not the one for us and we have settled in a particular town/city in the province we like. (The tricky part is leaving on ‘good’ terms, so other women will be open to dating us. I wouldn’t want to feel I had to leave town). I hesitated asking my 2nd question since we all want to believe our Filipina genuinely loves us for us - not as a ‘cash cow’ or an instant ticket to middle class. I think it’s just good to be aware of this. If a genuine relationship is what we really want, then the Filipina’s true feelings should become more clear over time since being fake is very difficult to hide forever. I really think your approach is wise. I will definitely not rush into a commitment.
Yes, the good ones are not desperate and will take their time. Even if they are poor. That nurse was extremely eager to get abroad and make some nursing money. Red flag..IMO.
This is why WMAF couples are increasing, I love a kind, shy girl who doesn't want to rush. That's what it's all about.... unlike most European women these days.

There's an energy that is matched in other places too but it's different. You get scooped up in the current of Filipino ways 1st, then you can start to venture out (to other islands).
Hello there, how are you doing?
Tampo????
@@FreedomRock44 Being silent for days.
Perhaps some have no choice.
better being silent, i prefer it...than some blabber mouth , lol
@@pogopiratepeteThere are pros and cons with tampo but once you figure out how to deal with it it's ok.
Hey thank you for the message, that's great I heard it's quite nice up there I definitely want to check it out before too long, glad you are loving it and yes I agree in the right time you will meet the right one that's how I feel too, thanks for watching I appreciate it!

Nice Video mate! Very down to earth and informative.
Just remember boys, NEVER live anywhere near HER FAMILY! At least 1 island away or 8 hours travel. Trust me.
Maybe if you marry into the wrong family. We lived a half hour from my in-laws for 8 years and had zero problems. Gotta set some ground rules.
Be careful. When you say hi to the family they'll be planning the wedding the next day and you'll be the last one to know.

I’ve been looking for a legit channel on the PI because I’m moving there by the end of year and this is the one. Great job.
Live in the province for awhile and u might think differently. Loud obnoxious motorcycle, barking dogs all night ,crazy roosters, bad karaoke until 3am... not power for a day...a 1 our drive to the grocery store. no internet for a few days... ohh its paradise in the province...
Yes often that is true! For me it depends on where I'm staying and what area sometimes it could be pretty bad indeed. Video coming that talks about that side of the province
Well it’s the truth ..province peoples want to move either in the city or nearer.
No internet, nice drive thru the country for groceries, I bet it is still quieter than the states, I've gotten used to wearing ear plugs ,no ice/frost/snow. Where do I sign up 😊

Thank you for sharing that!

Good common sense advice. Leyte seems like a very nice & chill island. I'm going to be relocating to either Phils or Thailand next year. Great video
Move on. It can be hurtful and regretful, but if it is in your best interest to do so then it is actually the best thing to do.
lots of province grls in man n other cities

Thanks for the info. I wish I was there too! Maybe one day

I met my girl online also. This year be third time to the Philippines plus we are getting married this year!!
thanks for the great advice
I paid Christian Filipina to start trying to meet women, and my money disappeared, and so did my conversations. And they were very respectful.

Hi chad, I live in Hawaii and I am planning on visiting the Philippines in about three months. I am going to Thailand first for two months because I purchased an elite visa there. I have subscribed to your channel and I watched most of your videos. The information I learned from your videos was very helpful. I have been watching carefree Chris’s channel and subscribed also. I see that you guys hang out a lot and get along very well. I am going to chat with Chris about starting a motorcycle shop and or club for motorcycle and scooters. Maybe the three of us can make something like this happen. I know he was talking about investing in some kind of business and looking for a business partner in one of his latest videos. I am 68 years old so I will try my best to keep up with you guys. Keep up the great work with your videos. Send this information to Chris and see what he thinks about it. I am planning on moving there and looking to make a investment into something.

Thanks for sharing Your ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME

I been searching for Mr right but ... Can't find..
Nice content. How old are you? Or what age range if you’d rather not be specific. Thanks!
