    Hyperpigmentation is my worst nightmare that I’m living but your skin looks flawless

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  5 років тому +72

      Coca Persuasion Thank you! ☺️ it took some patience for it to get this way. Hyperpigmentation is the worst I dealt with it for so long under my lip. I still have a little that has actually faded away/got lighter over time. It’s crazy because it’s a genetic thing dealing with how much melanin your body naturally produces but also it’s partly due to sun exposure!! I found that using a good sunscreen everyday before I went outside helped a lot! Have you tried that?

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  5 років тому +91

      Omg!! Turmeric!!! How could I forget. I have turmeric tea every other day. It’ll help with the inflammation that causes the hyperpigmentation. I also do turmeric and honey face mask! Try it mama! It will help big time. FYI (if you have light skin) the turmeric might turn your skin yellow/orange for a few hours so it’s best to go the mask at night.

    • @FF-by6ci
      @FF-by6ci 5 років тому +26

      Use differin or retina a for hyperpigmentation but make sure u use high spf like 50 in the day even in winter. Another thing use a hydrating moisturiser under the spf cos retina a dries skin . Black soap is not good for acne at all . For diet avoid sugar and carbs and eat lots of veg and drink 3 litres of water. Also sleep early and wake up early, excerpting and avoid stress. It’s a lot but you have to be all about the self.

    My acne makes me so sad ,it just seem like no matter what I do my dark spots won’t go away ☹️.One time I just laid in my mama arms and just cried nonstop because my hope for having clear skin is just diminishing. But I’m going to keep trying and pray 🙏🏽

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  5 років тому +94

      Awww there’s definitely so much hope! I felt the same way! My skin was messed up for so long. I wasn’t comfortable or confident looking people in the face or going out in public I stayed in the house for over a year. But routine has really helped me along with my diet I cut out a lot of stuff! Dairy, soda, a lot of grains. It took time!! Whatever you decide to try you have to have patience! It can also me a medical issue. Have you talked to a doctor?

      The Diamond Life Thank you for your kind words I really appreciate it .And yes you’re right ,it does take a lot of patience lol!! And no I haven’t talk to a doctor because I pretty much know the cause of my acne and it’s because of candy ,my digestion system like you said for yourself as well and just being stressed ! Is it normal for it to burn or sting..? Cos I use a loofah and wash my face for 3-5 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water, my face turns reddish and it still stings... I have some small cuts on my face now but nothing too bad yet.... then after I moisturize with some lotion and it still stings for a little bit but then it goes away.

    ❤ thumbs up love! First & foremost u hit it right on the nail with a few major points in ur content. I too, healed my face from cystic hormonal acne for an entire year so far. While our methods are different (I swear by korean methods) I love that u mentioned super important outside aggressors that most people dont even realize. Digestion is HUGE, our diet habits are HUGE, sleep is HUGE to repair & heal, HOW we apply the products is HUGE (pressing in product vs rubbing), and also "layering" matters in my particular case. I'm 39 & therefore combating aging, as well as stress induced/hormonal acne. So light layers have helped a ton, vs putting a glob of one or 2 products. Anyhow, hats off mami. Great job on those important mentions❣👌

I was put on it years ago by ulovemegz here on yt years ago and it's the best thing ever for my skin. I will never stop using it. My skin lovesss it! You know what will help alot of you liquify the black soap it’s so much easier to use and less harsh on the skin. I started doing that and it’s literally a game changer. I have a video on my channel on how to do it. Also find a good spf to wear during the day so the sun doesn’t darken your dark marks as you are trying to fade them. Actually drying of skin is not a good idea, black soap dried it out, but you’ll end up with more acne and continuous cycle. Hydration is what acne skin needs , and a very simple face wash, cetaceans or cetaphil , differin or retina a to combat hyperpigmentation , hydrating moisturiser and lastly spf. Diet is what will make a huge difference.

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  5 років тому +16

      Jay J Thank you for your comment! It may or may not help someone below. Diet, hydration, and spf is def the key. African black soap’s active ingredients work in the same way any acne medication with *salicylic acid* would. Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid which exfoliates the skin to make it softer yet “drys out the skin” to kill bacteria. Whether you’re using African black soap or an acne prescribed facial wash with salicylic acid. It’s best to use it compare it with hydrating moisturizers as I did it this video. What worked for me may not work for others. Thank you much for watching :)

      Te it took a full year for my face to be completely clear. It wasn’t until I started paying attention to my diet and eating things that cleared toxins from my body and helped with inflammation. That I started to see a drastic change in my skin! So I feel your pain!

    Yes she is absolutely right, OMG, authentic black soap is a miracle soap, it cleared my daughters acne and mine completely, you should use the face spinning brush, we use witch hazel for a toner ,but I use the yellow african shea butter afterwards for moisturizing , because it does burn , for a face scrub just use regular sugar from your kitchen, it works you all. AUTHENTIC BLACK SOAP PLEASE TRY IT.

    • @diamondsaint

      I’ve tried using African Shea butter because I know it’s so good for your hair and skin!!! But I can’t stand the smell. I’ve even tried adding essential oils to it like lavender does it no justice. I just added witch hazel to my routine and I LOVE IT! Thank you so much for watching. 🥰

    Wow! I’m so happy I found your video. I was diagnosed with Crohn’s when I was nine and it truly affects my skin. I get hives as soon as I don’t take my allergy medication, I have dermatitis, and of course acne 😩. Thank you for making this video

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  5 років тому

      Brandi Blackman omg! I really appreciate this. Thank you so much for watching! 🥰 How have you been dealing? Are you now in remission? I’ve been in remission for about 2 years now. The medication I was on as well as not having the proper diet really messed with my skin. As of right now inflammation isn’t happening in my gut but I think something is coming out in my skin again. Not acne but dermatitis it seems to not want to go away, I’m trying everything and I hope to find a solution soon. My dermatologist prescribed a steroid cream that doesn’t seem to be working. What do you use for your dermatitis?

    • @BrandiBlackman
      @BrandiBlackman 5 років тому +1

      The Diamond Life hey! I’ve been in remission for a few months, like since February. However, my skin and allergies have been reacting chronically. I take a daily allergy pill and it really helps. If I skip it for a few days or more, my skin goes insane body and acne. The topicals did not work for me at all, only suppressing the reaction for like an hour. Of course I use Dove sensitive body wash and wash my clothing using tide free and gentle. This works for me as a base to ensure that my skin is calm.

    • @diamondsaint
      @diamondsaint  5 років тому

      Brandi Blackman mmm I never thought to take an allergy pill. I’m going to try that. It’s mostly under my lip, it comes and goes. It’s so annoying I really need to find something that will let it go away forever. I’m thinking that it’s something in my diet that’s not sitting well with my gut so slowly I’m starting to cut things out to see if I notice a difference in it clearing up. Thank you so much for your advice I’m going to try the allergy meds!!!

      The Diamond Life I’ve started eating organic this month, to see if that’ll help with my Crohn’s. And I began consuming locally grown honey specifically for allergies, again. I love African black soap! My skin is very sensitive so I got really crazy rashes from using it with the brush though, so I don’t use the spin brush anymore. So if you try it with the brush and it doesn’t work with your skin just lather it in your hands and rub it on that way, it’s amazing!

When I travel out of the country my skin and digestion go haywire for months. I tried this on a doctor friend’s recommendation and it was a game changer! Just make sure the probiotics you use are the ones that have to be refrigerated. The others are duds more often than not.

Also, try the black soap on a small section of your face.. some black soaps come with extra ingredients and if you are sensitive you don't want to leave it on the skin for too long. Did you purchase Raw African Black soap made in West Africa?

      I have chrohn’s too, but I have fungal acne. I’m gonna try the soap soon. I’ve tried Nizoral, been on acne, the Aztec healing clay mask, and a lot of other cleansers, masks, and exfoliators, but nothing has cleared my skin all the way. My acne used to be very very very bad, and it covered my entire face..I was around 11. I had it early due to my crohn’s. But I’ve had a flare up recently, and I have been getting random tiny bumps all over my face. I’ve been drinking nothing but water consistently for about 2 months now..but it’s pretty much the same :(
      I’m hoping that the soap can be the product that clears my skin.🤷🏽‍♀️

      I agree, how can the serum penetrate through castor oil which is so thick

      Awww man that sucks! I’m sorry to hear that. What type of African Black Soap have you been using?

      The Diamond Mentality I have 2. At first I was using Raw African black soap but I stopped because it was burning my face. I think I might have been using too much. And then lately I have been using the Shea Moisture soap. I still have the raw African black soap at home. I have oily skin

      Jonathan Morales omg I just did a review that included the Shea moisture black soap. STOP USING IT! It’s causing more breakouts for you. Go on skincarisma.com and check out the ingredients in that soap it’s horrible. I had the same issue with african black soap and I found that diluting it and taking out those particles from the plam nut really helped the sensitivity it caused to my skin. I have a video on how I liquify my black soap If you want to check that out and try it. If you still have the soap.

      The Diamond Mentality So I looked at the ingredients and I’m not so sure which ones are bad for my skin but I still have the other soap so I would definitely check out your video ! Thanks

    You said it took your face 6-12 months to get completely clear and not to give up and be patient. But I was wondering how did you know the routine was even working before the 6 months

      Because my skin was clearing up. It had slight dark marks and very minimal acne breakouts compared to when I started. When I started my skin when had acne and dark marks ALL OVER even my neck.

      Ohhh okay thanks. I've used "black soap" years ago nd it kinda burnt my skin. I put it in quotation marks bc ik a lot of people say shea moisture black soap isn't real. But regardless if it's real or not I also was using it TOO MUCH. but now I just started using the DuDu osun and my face doesn't feel any discomfort. 😊

    We have such a similar routine! Yes, be careful with those African black soaps that are not authentic! This is very informational, I will have to get a roller and add JBCO.
