Tumeric face masks really do work. But a 5-day treatment really only works for people with recent hyperpigmentation. So don't get discouraged if you don't see immediate results. The longer you've had the discoloration the deeper in the epidermis it is. And therefore the longer it will take. I've had heavy dark patches for 10 years!! After two weeks it is slowly fading, But I started with a realistic goal of 2 months. My skin looks great so far.

Hey there. Loved your video. As an Indian, I have grown up using turmeric for different uses : for cooking, for medicinal purposes and for beauty purposes. I would just like to point out that when you are making the turmeric paste , it would be more beneficial if you add the turmeric with yogurt to make the paste instead of just water. ( You could add a little bit of rose water too as it is a great toner). Another thing is when the face mask dries up instead of removing it directly with water, try to remove it first with just your fingers ( rub it off with your fingers) as that way it will ensure that your dry n dead skin comes off along with the fine facial hairs.

If the there is any Indian spice shop near you try getting the other type of turmeric they call Kasturi Manjal. Girl I had to comment on your video. Over a year ago, I watched your video and immediately tried the mask. I’ve spent years going back and forward to the dermatologist and spend a lot of money on treatments. I did the mask with plain yogurt and turmeric. I left it on for 30 minutes a day for a week. This worked wonders for my dark spots and acne! I recommend this for anyone who suffers from acne and hyperpigmentation! Thank you girl! You changed up the game for me!❤️ I still do the mask today. I’m glad that the natural remedy ( turmeric) worked for you. However, if the eczema medication is causing the hyperpigmentation problem you may need to investigate that and see what are you eating and / or what is in the environment causing the eczema flair ups in the first place. That’s the root of your problem. If you don’t get to the root of your problem you will be doing this forever. Most of the things we suffer from can be attributed to diet. I was in ITU so I guess they were using harsh medication to keep me breathing. I will take a deeper look into my died, I try not to have dairy
Try Tumeric and Pure Aloe Vera jell from the actual plant. Mix thoroughly and apply lightly over dark spots. Leave on 20 minutes and rinse off. Keep doing until your dark area is gone.
Hello from India. Better diys with tumeruc for pigmentation is take tumeric half spoon, add rice flour 1tsp, curd/yogurt, honey. Honey moisturize your skin, tumeric helps to get rid of dark spots and pigmentation, rice flour /gram flour helps in brightening, curd and yogurts act as a mixing medium and also as a brightening agent. Diy rice flour: Wash you rice soak it well for 1hour or so. Dry it well so it doesn't have any moisture abd grund it. That's it💓
@@peachexx3310 Sorry for taking so long to reply but I did 2 tablespoons of turmeric, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and I left it on until it dried but I had to do things around the house so i saran wrapped it which may have made a difference to the amount of time. One thing I wished I had done better was wash it off more thoroughly, because it left a small faint stain (which i fortunately was able to remove) on my bed linens. Also use an old or dark coloured towel to make laundry easy on you. Hoped this helped and you guys!

We Indians use this on daily basis. To make it more effective add gram flour and curd/milk to the paste and scrub it A little after it dries. It will be much more effective.

If you use raw turmeric and grind it no yellow. Powdered, you get some yellow with using yogurt and honey that lessens it. Remove it with a washcloth that helps also. Yes it works
luna lovegood 1 Tablespoon honey. 1-2 Tablespoons plain yogurt(I used Greek). approximately 1/2 teaspoon turmeric. Mix it well. Apply to freshly washed face. Being indian we use turmeic for many things from cooking to weddings and medicinal home remedies but today I want to share a recipe that is an ancient indian tradition that's used for glowing and even skin tone. It makes skin bright and removes sun tan. Please try this recipe and let me know how it goes. I also use this face pack in my skin care and it works but I hope it works for your hyperpigmentation. Ingredients: 1tbsp gram flour 1tsp sandal wood powder 1tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp lemon juice 1tbsp rose water 1tsp almond oil Plain yoghurt to make a paste Method: Add all dry ingredients to a bowl and mix then add wet ingredients and lastly the plain yoghurt to make a paste. Application: Wash face with warm water and a good cleanser. Apply mask on face and neck. Leave mask on for 30 minutes. The mask will be dry and hard on skin so dampen it and gentle massage the mask on face and neck and wash off, do not use soap or any cleanser. Pat face and neck dry. You can apply this mask 3 times a week and do this before bedtime. If u have sensitive skin try and avoid the lemon juice. If your skin is oily omit the almond oil. But all the ingredients work together to help improve skin. I hope this works for you. Also do a patch test to be sure it for your skin type. All the best 🏅😁
Yes I agree, I’ve heard that the sandal wood powder and the rose water are two ingredients that are used in India. I think I will try it and mix it along with the turmeric powder, lime, honey and Baking soda or will that be a bit too much 🤣? Also dont use warm water or hot water to wash your face after this. Use room temp water or cold water. That will give better results. And to lighten the yellow staining of turmeric and for better results for clear skin, it is best to mix turmeric with curd. Curd again helps reduce tan and hyperpigmentation. So go get that turmeric out of your shelves ladies

I make a turmeric mask twice a week and its really helped with my acne scars. I make it with 2 tablespoons turmeric, 1 tablespoon greek natural yogurt and 1 teaspoon organic honey (or Manuka honey). To exfoliate my face i make the same mask and add 1-2 tablespoons raw sugar and scrub my face in the shower for days I feel i need to remove dead skin cells. I will say I agree with you- it can be pretty annoying with the yellow stain and the yellow fingers 😂 but I love the glow it gives to my skin and also how it doesn’t sting my face when I apply it which happens to masks i use that are store bought. You can also try a fresh aloe vera mask. You apply for 30 minutes to overnight and wash off. This helps with hyperpigmentation.

i used turmeric, lemon juice and honey for my very dark elbows with eczema and the results were crazy, only needed to do it that one time.
I'm going to try this on my elbows, knees, and ankles lol.

@@peachexx3310 Sorry for taking so long to reply but I did 2 tablespoons of turmeric, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and I left it on until it dried but I had to do things around the house so i saran wrapped it which may have made a difference to the amount of time. One thing I wished I had done better was wash it off more thoroughly, because it left a small faint stain (which i fortunately was able to remove) on my bed linens. Also use an old or dark coloured towel to make laundry easy on you. Hoped this helped and you guys!

We Indians use this on daily basis. To make it more effective add gram flour and curd/milk to the paste and scrub it A little after it dries. It will be much more effective.
@Mymetro Phone for one mask.. Add 1tsp of each and sturr it to make it thick consisitency. U can add a little more curd, if it does not mix well.

If you use raw turmeric and grind it no yellow. Powdered, you get some yellow with using yogurt and honey that lessens it. Remove it with a washcloth that helps also. Yes it works
luna lovegood 1 Tablespoon honey. 1-2 Tablespoons plain yogurt(I used Greek). approximately 1/2 teaspoon turmeric. Mix it well. Apply to freshly washed face. Watch an episode of something on Netflix then wipe off with a wet washcloth followed by cool water rinse. 3-4 times a week. After 2 weeks my “raccoon”eyes looked MUCH better.

Hi there ❤ this is an amazing video. Being indian we use turmeic for many things from cooking to weddings and medicinal home remedies but today I want to share a recipe that is an ancient indian tradition that's used for glowing and even skin tone. It makes skin bright and removes sun tan. Please try this recipe and let me know how it goes. I also use this face pack in my skin care and it works but I hope it works for your hyperpigmentation.
Ingredients:
1tbsp gram flour
1tsp sandal wood powder
1tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1tbsp rose water
1tsp almond oil
Plain yoghurt to make a paste
Method:
Add all dry ingredients to a bowl and mix then add wet ingredients and lastly the plain yoghurt to make a paste.
Application:
Wash face with warm water and a good cleanser. Apply mask on face and neck. Leave mask on for 30 minutes. The mask will be dry and hard on skin so dampen it and gentle massage the mask on face and neck and wash off, do not use soap or any cleanser. Pat face and neck dry.
You can apply this mask 3 times a week and do this before bedtime.
If u have sensitive skin try and avoid the lemon juice. If your skin is oily omit the almond oil. But all the ingredients work together to help improve skin. I hope this works for you. Also do a patch test to be sure it for your skin type.

Yes I agree, I’ve heard that the sandal wood powder and the rose water are two ingredients that are used in India. I think I will try it and mix it along with the turmeric powder, lime, honey and Baking soda or will that be a bit too much 🤣? I’ll take your advice on what to use or anything additional because I can definitely vouch for people from India as their natural techniques are by far the best 😂

Let me tell you guys...This stuff really works!!! I have bad dark acne scars and hyperpigmentation, it takes so long for the scars to go away and no matter what i try, my hyperpigmentation and acne scars don’t go away. I’ve been using this for 4 days and i love it, my scars and hyperpigmentation are almost gone.
Here is what i use:
1 tsp of turmeric
1 tsp of plain Greek yogurt
1/2 a tsp of raw Manuka honey
A few drops of lemon
I get my aloe Vera plant and scrape the gel into the turmeric mixture
Try it, i promise you, it will help!!! I love it but remember we are all beautiful flaws and all! Love yourself and do this for YOU 🥰

Also dont use warm water or hot water to wash your face after this. Use room temp water or cold water. That will give better results. And to lighten the yellow staining of turmeric and for better results for clear skin, it is best to mix turmeric with curd. Curd again helps reduce tan and hyperpigmentation. So go get that turmeric out of your shelves ladies

A quick tip from someone who does this a lot is to use less turmeric and it won’t stain !

I make a turmeric mask twice a week and its really helped with my acne scars. I make it with 2 tablespoons turmeric, 1 tablespoon greek natural yogurt and 1 teaspoon organic honey (or Manuka honey). To exfoliate my face i make the same mask and add 1-2 tablespoons raw sugar and scrub my face in the shower for days I feel i need to remove dead skin cells.
I will say I agree with you- it can be pretty annoying with the yellow stain and the yellow fingers 😂 but I love the glow it gives to my skin and also how it doesn’t sting my face when I apply it which happens to masks i use that are store bought.
You can also try a fresh aloe vera mask. You apply for 30 minutes to overnight and wash off. This helps with hyperpigmentation.
