To be fair there are advantages of the Galaxy S22 over the iPhone 15; 120hz display, customisable home screen, third party app installers, emulators, support for virtually all video formats, wired connection support for dualshock 4 and Xbox series game controllers, super fast charge, drag and drop file transfer between Windows PC and Price. There are properly many I missed.
I’m just probably getting this, this week on contract with my carrier. Basically two Samsung S22’s, one for me and my wife as we stuck with mobile phones around 6 years old now. So, it’s on a good deal currently wheres one can only get an S23 and a watch or tab and not two S23’s so thank you for this vid. I mean we play games and all that but not like power users so much, so I feel this would be an ideal model to go for, for long term use.
The battery is good tho right ?. Doesn't it have the biggest battery available ? I have this phone the only thing I really hate is the front camera .. did you buy one ?
Is this good as a secondary phone? I have an iPhone but have always used android. There are certain apps that don’t work as well on iOS and are extremely important for my work. I don’t intend on playing games on my phone and will primarily use it to make calls, browse UA-cam and sometimes take pictures but not many videos.
Why not just get cheaper Android? Even Samsung mid rangers (A series) is more than enough for those stuffs Edit: also getting a flagship as secondary phone sounds excessive and overkill unless you just wanted to flex around 😂
Battery is quite all right. There's no reason to avoid the phone because the battery reasons. It's a small phone, if you play video games then it's going to drain battery fast. That's about it really. The battery drain is really exaggerated by most people, and people crying about it don't really know anything about it
I have had my S22 since launch day and still love it the same with no plans on upgrading yet. The S22 gets so many updates and the UI is very aesthetically pleasing & smooth. I've also never had any issues with my battery life although it seems to be such a common issue. I actually think the opposite and feel that my phone holds up really well throughout the day & I really only end up having to charge it once, twice at max if I'm using it more heavily. Some tips, I always make sure to optimize my phone, free up space and be mindful of anything that may be unknowingly draining my battery like bluetooth or certain apps/settings I'll disable them. Turning off wifi when you're outside/in a vehicle when it's not available since that could also be causing your phone to be using power to roam for networks. Turning on battery saver for certain games when you're on data. & Low power mode in general always goes a long way when you reach 50%
@thisismelekk No, not on a regular basis. I only ever notice heating if I'm playing a very high-performance game for an extended period of time, which is rare. It wouldn't be until over an hour has passed that I'll notice any warmth. I don't notice any heating issues when playing emulated games not from the Play store. But a lot of people really seem to exaggerate this, this is what happens with any other console or device when playing a game with the highest settings possible. And it should be common sense that a smaller phone has a smaller battery & less RAM, but there's nothing wrong with that. You just need to know how to use it efficiently & you'll be able to make the most of it.
Samsung promised 4 years of major updates and plus one year of security updates that is until 2025-26 I’m already using iPhone 13 for 7 months now and since I was android user for almost 10 years I just got bored of iOS no customisation no nothing all I can do is just change the picture and that is it, I mean I like iOS wigets and all that but it’s just bored, and since I have the regular 13 I don’t have the 120hz display but my redmi note 10 pro had that the budget phone that cost a lot more cheaper than the iPhone had that, and I really want to try s21 ultra since the s22 is getting hot and the battery is weak and the s23 ultra is just to much expensive for me the s21 ultra is just the sweet spot for me@@thepapnmapn6733
does this overheat now as it used to? I have seen multiple reviewers and people saying it overheats quite a bit. Can you please confirm if that is solved or not. Also tell me if the s21 runs cooler than this by any chance.
s22 user since june2022... YES it gets WARM... but by no means HOT... the s23 is MUCH BETTER than this( i own both)... that being said, i have gamed with COD and WoT for YEARS now and neither game has made the phone throttle... WARM? Yes? laggy? NO! Especially the new ONE UI update. THIS PHONE is worth the cheap-azz price now. S22 FTW! :-)
@xxyvng6831 thanks the info man, I was rlly confused as I've been using my s22 for a few months now and it's been doing amazing. It's on uts second update now and still doesn't lag. The display is what I call amazing. The battery can get me through a day but no more than that. Overall its a amazing phone its just that it gets hot sometimes while navigating around the ui (deu to the snapdragon 8 gen 1 being known for running hot and being in efficient.)
@faizanmunir4504 rare, everytime you reset the phone and that's pretty much it. While gaming it will get hot and will start to throttle on max settings. But daily use with 4 applications being used at the same time doesn't make the device get hot.
@@shawarma3066what are your thoughts on the battery? I'm watching multiple videos about S22, and one thing most say is that battery is crap. I'm thinking of buying this as a gift and taking this to consideration

@Wandering_nomad_forever-xl7uq so it is not recommended if we want get the phone for use 3 years? Is it really struggle for the battery? Whats your version S22 is snapdragon or exynos?
Don't buy this phone!!! The battery is s****, long charging for a 2hrs use. Even not using it the battery just flies out. I went to bed with a fully charged battery, when I woke up 5hrs later I had 15% left. The fingerprint sensor doesn't work 9 out 10 time. Getting notifications from the most built-in apps even though I force stopped then. The device is really slow. The display and screen quality is great and that's probably the only good thing I can say about this phone.

@m.o.9977 from 0 it's 1 hr 10 to 100 percent
What do you mean support for dual shock 4??
Super fast charge 25w 😅
