They should have a connection between Woodlands and Punggol/ Pasir Ris/ Changi airport. It is so long getting to the north east and east Singapore with the current lines. A provision for a MRT station at Gali Batu between Bukit Panjang and Sungei Kadut.
"They should have a connection between Woodlands and Punggol" - another comment mentioned as well. Yeah you'll need to cross over bodies of water, use the Yishun Dam to build tracks. Current Lines: North-South Line, East-West Line, Bukit Panjang LRT, Sengkang LRT, North East Line, Punggol LRT, Sentosa Express, Circle Line, Downtown Line, and Thomson-East Coast Line. Future Lines: Johor Bahru-Singapore RTS-Link, Jurong Region Line, and Cross Island Line.
MRT Lines: East-West, North-South, North East, Circle, Downtown, and Thomson-East Coast Line. LRT Lines: Bukit Panjang, Sengkang, and Punggol LRT. Other Line: Sentosa Express. Future Lines: Jurong Region, Cross Island, and Johor-Bahru Singapore RTS-Link Lines.
Please seriously consider the following: 1. Monorail to Long Island from Tanjong Rhu Station (just like monorail from Harborfront to Sentosa) -> Sungei Bedok Station 2. MRT from Punggol Station -> Seletar Airport Station -> Yishun Station 3. MRT from Pasir Ris Station -> Pulau Ubin Station -> Pulau Tekong Station 4. Revival of the High Speed Rail from Woodlands North Station -> Seletar Airport Station -> Changi Airport Station -> Marina Bay Station -> Jurong East Station -> Tuas Link Station
@@joeyjoestar720 Yes. Among the 4 proposals I have mentioned, proposals 2 and 4 are the most vital and have great potential to promote economic activity. Personally, linking JB to the two commercial airports, then to downtown, jurong and tuas link, using HSR or other fast rail options is somewhat important.
The Tel merging with ewl changi airport line is not set in stone yet. Its just a feasibility study stage like the once cross island line machritchie reservoir two branch line plan. Theres also a new seletar whampoa line in the planning works and ewl gul circle branch to tuas west extension
theres been many hints that it has been given the green light; proposals for a transport corridor made out of the potentially unused track of cgl has been reported in the news
Would be great if the cross island line could pass through seletar and reach yishun so that we could go from Yishun to Changi Airport by train. but looking at the location here, we dont have space so that's very unlikely.
They really shouldn't open any other stations on the red line. The train is already slow enough. They should think about increasing its effeciency instead.
When the circle line finishes I wonder what will happen to Bayfront, maybe the train “terminates” there. unless it will skip Dhoby Ghaut, Bras Basah and Esplanade going straight to Promenade and never stoped. That would be funny lol
Btw why can’t they make TEL go to to marina south pier after marina bay and then to gardens by the bay not really complaining but just a missed oppouetunity
The 9th MRT line (of which its name-including the number of stations-remains unknown) is *not officially officialized by Land Transport Authority*, so *please do not speculate on this one! Thanks*
Even though the number of lines and stations have increased, I feel travelling time doesn't differ much. Amount of time required to walk, queue when changing line added up with train travelling time is the same as not changing the line.
NOTE ABOUT THE NINTH MRT LINE: The 9th MRT line (of which its name-including the number of stations-remains unknown) *_is not officially confirmed by Land Transport Authority,_*_ so please do not speculate on this one!_

I cant find my home already
Thanks for information
I LOVE how Chinese names are chosen for those stations in Singapore. They read sooo cool to me. That’s really INTER-national in my opinion. 👍🏻
this is amazing! great work
Amazing! I miss the trains in Singapore
So what
You forgot Jurong Region Line's West Coast Extension (Pandan Reservoir - Haw Par Villa).
Fantastic video !
TBD (To be determined) in Chinese is 待定.
Holy shit, the NEL is 20 years old this year?
But apart from that, thanks for this - well done!
Current Lines: North-South Line, East-West Line, Bukit Panjang LRT, Sengkang LRT, North East Line, Punggol LRT, Sentosa Express, Circle Line, Downtown Line, and Thomson-East Coast Line.
Future Lines: Johor Bahru-Singapore RTS-Link, Jurong Region Line, and Cross Island Line.
You forgot the Cross Island Line's Changi T5 extension from Aviation Park.
Mistakes for station names:
1. South View station in Chinese is 南景 not 南山.
2. Riviera station is misspelled as Riveria.
Man, I wish I became an engineer. I love this stuff.
Never too late
very well made! any news on the new 2040 MRT line?
Stations Have Not Been Finalised
Unfortunately it is still a blank slate, no stations have been finalized and confirmed yet
MRT Lines: East-West, North-South, North East, Circle, Downtown, and Thomson-East Coast Line. LRT Lines: Bukit Panjang, Sengkang, and Punggol LRT. Other Line: Sentosa Express. Future Lines: Jurong Region, Cross Island, and Johor-Bahru Singapore RTS-Link Lines.
crazy how recent this actually is
Yes, when I first went to Singapore in 1999, there were only actually 2 lines!
The font you type station names in English is Segoe UI.
Is there Admiralty station in Hong Kong MTR?
Yes
非常喜欢,请问如何制作的?

谢谢@@qsmillustrations
I love how Singapore government design CRL, it really helps the resident to cross faster and cheaper (BUT IT IS IN 2030!!!! )
Just 7 more years :p
You forgot to put Tagore station between Springleaf and Lentor on Thomson-East Coast Line.
Please seriously consider the following:
1. Monorail to Long Island from Tanjong Rhu Station (just like monorail from Harborfront to Sentosa) -> Sungei Bedok Station
2. MRT from Punggol Station -> Seletar Airport Station -> Yishun Station
3. MRT from Pasir Ris Station -> Pulau Ubin Station -> Pulau Tekong Station
4. Revival of the High Speed Rail from Woodlands North Station -> Seletar Airport Station -> Changi Airport Station -> Marina Bay Station -> Jurong East Station -> Tuas Link Station
Support and can't wait for them to construct seletar line too, travel to JB from sengkang will be even faster
People complain about the circle line not being complete but lot how downtown line literally does a loop
Then again it’s just a 5min walk from Rochor to Jalan Besar
That's to serve the central business district area for more convenience.😊
The Tel merging with ewl changi airport line is not set in stone yet. Its just a feasibility study stage like the once cross island line machritchie reservoir two branch line plan. Theres also a new seletar whampoa line in the planning works and ewl gul circle branch to tuas west extension
TEL is not going to the airport
It’s going to sunei bedok
@@sussy001 there are plans to extend to the airport & Tanah Merah by 2040.
theres been many hints that it has been given the green light; proposals for a transport corridor made out of the potentially unused track of cgl has been reported in the news
Wish you can make some more metro maps!!
You forgot about Tagore.
What is Tagore in Chinese? Don't know.
Where's JRL's West Coast Extension? In Sept 2022, it was released that studies for this rail stretch are still ongoing.
Finally, in the future Teck Lee opens. I thought that station was just abandoned.
You should do one for road
7:30 Thats incorrect because RTS Link starts from Johor Bahru, Malaysia to Woodlands (outside of Woodlands North)
1:24 It's also called the Branch Line.
Would be great if the cross island line could pass through seletar and reach yishun so that we could go from Yishun to Changi Airport by train. but looking at the location here, we dont have space so that's very unlikely.
Yeah you'll need to cross over bodies of water, use the Yishun Dam to build tracks. A bus service would be more economical.
Make a video on Delhi metro please
Edit :- already subscribed
9:47 you definitely didnt expect teck lee to be opened in 2024
Thanks for the Chinese translations, now my Grandma can make sense of it lol
What about Malay?
@@DonoZeek The English names of MRT stations still work in Malay
Malay words such as Bukit
Aite they really need to connect eastern singapore to north singapore. Maybe extend the CRL Extention to Yishun or Woodlands
The video forgot Tagore (TE4A)
nice
I like how you do this can you make another video
Oh, Brickland station opens in 2034, and Sungei Kadut station opens mid-2030s.
They really shouldn't open any other stations on the red line. The train is already slow enough. They should think about increasing its effeciency instead.
At the Outro, the screen will turn black.
they actually recently opened teck lee, wont be a ghost station forever haha😅
When the circle line finishes I wonder what will happen to Bayfront, maybe the train “terminates” there. unless it will skip Dhoby Ghaut, Bras Basah and Esplanade going straight to Promenade and never stoped. That would be funny lol
How many stations ?
Seriously?No plans near Yishun?
I like that one. The MRT train. 👍🏻🚇😊
Btw why can’t they make TEL go to to marina south pier after marina bay and then to gardens by the bay not really complaining but just a missed oppouetunity
Marina south opened already!
Mount Pleasant and Marina South MRT Stations will only open in tandem with housing developments ready.
can you make istanbul 1875-2050
Brickland MRT station opens in 2034 but you've typed 2032+.
7M population at the end ?
Hong Kong 🇭🇰 MTR?
There's a mistake at 1:23, The Choa Chu Kang branch was from the North-South Line, not the East-West Line.
It isn’t? Prove it.
Xillin, Sungei Bedok and Bedok South MRT Stations will open in 2026.
please work on producing rice in singapore
Why oh why can the lines SKIP NUMBERS???!!!
You forgot the Seletar line
You forgotten the future plans: seletar line
The 9th MRT line (of which its name-including the number of stations-remains unknown) is *not officially officialized by Land Transport Authority*, so *please do not speculate on this one! Thanks*
TEL4 will open in the first half of 2024
solid sg
Will i still be alive to see?
NS, EW, NE, CC, DT, TE, JR, CR. (MRT)
BP, SK, PG (LRT)
STE, RTS (Other)
Soon maybe got line connecting to Pulau Ubin or Pedra Branca…
Maybe, bit don't get your hopes up too high.
快点建好circle line 方便西部去marina
If I go on the circle line in the future, can I stay onboard for one whole day without alighting at all? 😅
No. Note the opening and closing hours, and the maximum limit you can stay on the MRT at any given point of time.
Wow the east west line is called the 东西 line in mandarin. 😂😂😂😂
(东西 meaning: something)
Even though the number of lines and stations have increased, I feel travelling time doesn't differ much. Amount of time required to walk, queue when changing line added up with train travelling time is the same as not changing the line.
More MRT stations and lines mean increased connectivity, does not necessarily mean lower travel time
It helps to lessen the number of passengers travelling through the central area. You get less crowding.
Providing redundancy
Absolutely apart from connectivity, more important is to disperse the crowd. 6.9 million population + 1.5 million tourist per month is no joke.
Circle Line is not actually circle😑
You Forgot SL Line
NOTE ABOUT THE NINTH MRT LINE:
The 9th MRT line (of which its name-including the number of stations-remains unknown) *_is not officially confirmed by Land Transport Authority,_*_ so please do not speculate on this one!_
Tambah satu bahasa melayu மற்றும் தமிழ் மொழி.
anyone remember the times when people married at MRT stations?
Yes. Nov 7 1987 on the first ride to Yio Chu Kang
Amazing video
幀率有點低
Straits Times mentioned for Cross Island Line Phase 3 may be open in end 2033
Someone's gonna get fired all because of this!
