So surprise to see how many tools from Ray Studio is featured in this video. They are not very well known outside China but they are great quality and reasonable priced. I remember waiting a whole year to get their scribers because the demand was so high. Ray himself is also a great gunpla builder.

I am absolutely in love with Ray Studio products! They deserve to be known around the world for their quality. It’s the perfect example of tools made by people that love the hobby. I couldn’t get the scriber too, so I decided to go for the Dspiae one, but Ray just released the new model and I’m thinking about giving it a shot.

I thought using expensive nipper will give perfect cut without the need of sanding... But i watched a video testing expensive tools that says otherwise...
So... No need wasting money on overprice things.
Skill and sharp tools is the most important

Awesome and very informative, i might get the dspiae siren for the simpler sanding process. Do you have any recommendation for budget nipper cutter?

Thank you very much! I did not try the Dspiae siren, but I can tell you that it is a great brand. Alternatively I can recommend the Raser Plus combined with the Balancer. I had great results with them.

As nipper cutter any will work to separate the part from the sprue, I use the Godhand Pn-125. Not expensive and it is very good.

@@TeaandGunpla yes i heard that the dspiae siren is the more budget friendly of gun primer raser. I'm now torn between choosing the god hand pn 125 or the hobby mio entry level nipper + Hobby mio hm 105 which when it comes down to it is a bit cheaper than pn 125.

Sorry for the late reply! I had to go abroad for a bit and things got a bit messy! If you are still pondering about your choice, I can tell you that Godhand in general is a great investment. They keep sharp for long time and they will last forever, if you maintain them properly. In case you got the Dspiae Siren, please let me know how is it going. I could get one too for an upcoming review of alternatives. Cheers

@@TeaandGunpla Hey no worries, yea I'm pretty satisfied with the god hand pn125. On the other hand the Siren felt awkward to use imo. its really eating all the plastic especially the edges, and the edges often touch the other plastic part. I think part of it is how I use the siren but, in my case the Siren is do more harm than good in most cases. In the end I'm using sanding sponge for much better result, just like you said the glass file will give you faster result but with much less control and in the Siren case its really awkward to control lol. Anyway happy to see you back, cant wait for your next upload :)

Great choice of nippers! One of the advantages of the Raser Plus are the rounded edges, that solves a bit the issue. Still I really prefer the sanding paper/sponges. Hopefully this week I'll manage to upload the water decals tutorial. Thanks for the support and happy building!

Thank you! Probably the Dspiae panel lining pen. It’s so precise and it reduced the time I need to clean up the models!
