I’m ex British army, such a sharp that I can’t get access to this PTSd therapy, I’ve literally blocked out the world for the last 5 years. I’ve been sectioned due to a suicidal attempt, I’ve gone to the Drs time n time (100s) of times. I’ve contacted “ mental health organisations” all of which have been governmental organisations, can u believe that. I here in the USA u have the VA & countless other places such as Black Rifle. I NEED to find MY way of rearranging my brain as i joined the army when I was 17! Then still at 17 I was in the 1st desert storm for 6 months. I went on tours such as this another 5 times (Bosnia#awful genocide, Kosovo which was fierce riot everyday for months, then 2 x Afghanistan & 1 x Iraq). I don’t see a 2024 for me atm, is anyone anywhere that has an answer please (no jokers or idiots please). Thanks in advance for any response in helping a UK guy whom had deployed with the US many many times.

I remember watching 25, wow, its got to be 7-8 yrs ago. I didn't realize Logan was involved until he mentioned it here. I paused this talk and went and watched For the 25 again. Its a really well done documentary and feels like an important piece of history. I hope the guys in it are doing well nowadays. This talk here was really good too. Jack and Logan are doing great work and I'm glad to be able to see the things they do/create. Thanks guys.

I remember that a lot of the after actions between 2007and 2012 in Afghanistan done by Marine Corps units were all very clear on the main issues. The combat efficacy was greatly hampered by the white socks wearing, non-shaving, lack of haircuts, hands in pockets habits that developed during this period. The taliwhackers took one look at SNMs appearances and it was game on. Thank the Lord for the small, but dedicated group of higher ups that caught these potentially deadly trends.

I live a few hours south of Atlanta, and absolutely hate having to fly out of that airport. 🤨 I dread that place.
But it’s cool that we live in a time where you can jump onto something and travel to somewhere that would take you in a car like 4-5 days to get to, and it only takes 5 hours. So I guess that’s better than nothing.

Jack, constructive criticism here.. this interview was my fav, simply bc you haven’t read a book of Logan’s or heard a podcast, so you asked questions as you should during an interview, but what I have noticed, is sometimes you do too much research on them, and you will tell their story for them, or kind of give the short form, and ask them to expand, and I think you should try and look at it from someone’s perspective who knows NOTHING about these people, and let the stories unfold. Keeps people engaged!! Also, this is all with love, you have one of my favorite podcast for sure!! This was my fav episode bc you were learning these things just as we were

There is a certain urgency that our USAF has that our hypersonic has fallen behind a couple of countries you can probably guess. The military is currently expanding their budget massively to expand ours and at least keep up. I can say that I know that for certain, not just hear say.

Don't let Jack's humble demeanor fool you. He's the next Tom Clancy.
This should be Jack's new project.
An alumni Navy Seal Team Member (DEVGRU) retires to Montana. As a result of a traumatic brain injury he was medically retired, but as his life settles into the civilian community, he meets a beatiful woman with teens.
Life is looking really good having taken a job at a lumber mill: later as years progress, and his relationship, he begins to notice small insignificant details that just seem to be out of place, just passing it off as symptoms of his injury.
He eventually he goes to his doctor to run tests: the standard set; including a hearing test, because his ears ring.
But outside of the standard set of tests, nothing is wrong, except for the ringing.
A period of time goes by and he notices that what he thought was the description of his friend and love interest he met months and months ago are different, but in small ways.
Now he keeps double checking his facts. "Did she have brown hair? Where her eyes hazel?
One day sitting in his favorite coffee shop he notices a person he's seen every day, but doesn't take any interest, UNTIL NOW.
He takes note of this person who for some odd reason looks like a team mate that from an operation in Afghanistan a long time ago. He memorizing every detail.
His conscience yields to a long and thoughtful pause......
His team has infilled to a hostile pass in Afghanistan, The Pashto; known to the men who had multiple tours there as, "The Valley of Death." (The Piss Can).
Just 2 more clicks Senior and we'll be at our next waypoint. The interpreter should meet us sometime near sunset.
    "Aye." Senior said.
As the team continues walking, a glint of light flashes in the distance catching The SO-1's from a drab building they were heading towards. "Down!" The SO-1 says. "Possible contact ahead."
Crouching behind a rock, the senior donns his NVG's training upon the last sighting of the glint and sound, noticing a small set of figures as their heads are exposed from cover of shrubs.
"Possible sniper ahead." The Senior says, as all the team prepare for hostile contact.
Slowly the team move forward, leap frogging from position to position, but just as SO-1 steps off to set a trail leading them farther from the road they had been walking beside, Bees! The sound of whipping bees! All around them. They were exposed!
So-2 quickly runs for cover to take up an oblique sniper position behind some old tore back trees, finally donning his NVG's. Panning, he sees the building they were heading towards with a group of hostiles attempting to crouch behind shrubs. Like an elephant hiding behind a twig.
All the members are now prone in a arc engaging the incoming fire, as SO-3 is struck by an angry bee in the calf. The pressure was like that of a bat thudding against plastic and clothing, grazing his skin. Feeling like the sting of an Africanized Honey bee when it's pissed.
"Reloading!" SO-1 says, noticing the SO-3 having been hit. SOCS now skurries toward him being missed just by inches from an angry bee noise that would have removed the side of his neck. Reaching the SO-3 and beginning to administer first aid automatically on que, he looks to see the SO-1 running like a crab to SO2's new position at a thick tree.
The Senior helps lift up the SO-3. "Can you walk?" "Yea, but It won't help my luck with sack races coming later this year." "Maybe you can ask to be a referee? Ha! Ha! They now both crab run to the flanking positions on either side of SO's 1 and 2.
"Matt!" "Go to that position ahead. See the tree?" SOCS said.
    "Covering fire!" SOCS shouts.
"On it! So-1 yells. The SO-1 begins crab running toward the noise of the bees origin to take position behind a tree that looked like Rip Van Winkle had the crap beat out of him from a battle it barely survived decades, or even centuries before..
    RPG!!!!
Even with the hail of return covering fire, only before it was too late did SO-2 notice a flash, and a puff of smoke come from their left oblique.
Before SO-2 could even react, the weapon impacted near the sagging tree exploding on impact, throwing him, gotta be 20 to 25 feet! The SO-1 was struck with the force of a Clydesdale horse after it's been jabbed in it's butt!
The SOCS yelled over at SO-3 to call in danger close near checkpoint.Bravo. "Heavy engagement from compound 0.02 clicks north." THE SOCS begins running to the SO-1. Arriving, The Senior can see that he hit his head on a rock.
Have you ever heard an extremely loud Gas turbine engine? Perhaps the Sound of an emergency diesel inside It's enclosure? All other sounds are gone. It's like being inside a vacuum of noise.
Pain, nothing but pain. THEN IT STOPS. Thank God for Morphin.
Matthew S. Kreiger. Born and raised in Southwest Houston, Tx. Sharpstown. Joined The Navy on a delayed entry program. Straight from The Womb of The Naval Sea Cadet Corps to boot camp in Great Lakes. In the middle of winter! Damn near froze to death.
Waking up from a coma, Matt noticed that he was not with his team! He is not at The FOB hospital in Kandahar. Hello! A nurse turns around from tending to the I.V. drip.....
This story follows Matt as he descends a starcase into paranoia and next level tech. Questioning everything he experienced, smelled, and touched. Was it all a dream. Is his girl Lara still in Billings with Gwen and Little Steff? Matt thought he lived his whole youth in the military, saw the aftermath of the devastation of 37 people as a result of "an Incident" when he was just an HT3 in the gulf aboard The Reid in the late 80's.
The last thing he remembered was seeing that man in his favorite coffee shop, who looked like someone he thought he knew.
Dedicated to all the men and women who sacrificed their lives engaging the terrorists, taking the fight to their home, rescuing hostages held captive by evil.

@@DannySabraArt This would come across so much bettter from Jack Carr. He literally is the next Tom Clancy! He gave the premise of his next book thought. That sounds like a good project.
My thought though in that idea is of a guy trapped in an illusion which turns out to be a case based on an actual account involving a college student which lived an entire life to old age, but an odd bright light in his living room coming from a lamp caused him to question his reality.
He came out of a coma to discover that his life was not real. Our service men and women sacrificed their youth to protect us from terrorists on U.S. soul, taking.the fight to their land. They have my deepest respect.
Hey! What's the greatest sound a warrior on the ground can hear? An A-10 Warthog with guns blazing!

Just so you know how rotten tomatoes does after they sold out: the way they get a high score is they have an audience watch it and then they do poll. If they don’t want the movie to have good rating they can easily have a certain type of audience rate it. And yes they pay people but the trick is size of audience and whose in it. They then cut off more reviews than the good ones. If a huge studio puts a hundred million into a film they’re definitely going to guarantee the ratings. And most big named reviewers understand how they make money is being invited to watch. The bigger the magazine or organization doing review they will be a bought off writer

    • @onebadmoto5081
      @onebadmoto5081 Рік тому

Even worse there are idiots out there that are so bad at rating movies. For instance I remember when last of the Mohicans got a bad rating from a reviewer. I mean if that happens you know they’re either an idiot or bought off and I’m unsure what is worse

JACK, CHAT GP is not as ready as some people want it to be. There is an attorney in Arkansas I believe that used chat gp in a legal briefing and it made up 5 cases that did not exist and told the attorney when asked that these cases are real and made case numbers and all that . The attorney sent it in for his case and it turns out that none of the cases that were used even existed. Guess what attorney is in a ton of hot water for this.... so A I is not as ready as some people want it to be. But it is getting there . just a thought for you.
